기부자의 기부만족이 기부의도에 미치는 영향 기관신뢰의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Influence of Donors' Satisfaction on Donation Intention - Mediating Effect of Institutional Trust -)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지기관의 기부자들의 기부만족과 기관신뢰가 기부자의 기부의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 파악하고 이를 통해 개인기부자들이 기부의도를 높여 기부연속성을 확보하는 방안을 마련하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해서 대구 경북 사회복지기관에 등록된 개인기부자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 최종 374부의 자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 기부자의 기관만족은 기부의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 기부만족과 기부의도의 관계에서 기관신뢰는 유의미한 부분 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 사회복지기관의 중요한 자원이라고 할 수 있는 잠재적 기부자들의 기부의도를 증대시키고 개인기부자들의 기부연속성을 높이고 기부참여자들의 기부연속성을 높이기 위해서는 기부과정을 통한 만족도를 높이는 것과 기부기관에 대한 신뢰가 확보될 수 있도록 하는 방안이 필요함을 시사한다. 이를 토대로 사회복지기관들의 안정적 운영이 가능하도록 개인기부자들의 기부만족과 기부신뢰를 높이기 위한 실천적인 방안을 논의하였다.

  • 최근 지속가능경영은 중요한 경영적 대안과 전략으로 대두 되었으며, 건설산업을 포함한 전 산업 및 기업에게 점차 중요해지고 있다. 산업 및 기업적 차원에서 이에 대한 전략을 수립하고 지속적으로 관리하여 향상 시키는 것은 중요하며, 이를 보완하기 위해 수립된 전략에 대한 트렌드를 분석하는 것 또한 중요하다. 지속가능경영보고서는 기업의 미래지향적 경영방향과 전략을 파악할 수 있는 좋은 정보원(Information Source)이다. 건설기업의 전반적인 지속가능경영 전략과 트렌드를 파악하기 위한 가장 현실적인 방법은 대표적인 건설기업의 지속가능경영보고서를 분석하여 지속가능경영에 대한 키워드를 도출한 후, 이를 활용하여 빅데이터를 통한 트렌드 분석을 수행하는 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 국내 대표적인 5개 건설대기업의 지속가능경영보고서 분석을 통해 도출된 키워드를 기반으로 빅데이터 분석을 실시하여 국내 건설기업의 지속가능경영 전략에서 나타나는 트렌드의 주요 특징과 시사점을 분석하는데 있다. 국내 건설기업의 지속가능경영 전략 트렌드를 이해하는 것은 건설기업의 미래지향적 경영방향과 전략을 파악할 수 있게 하며 향후 건설산업과 건설기업이 미래를 대비하기 위해 주력해야할 현안을 발굴할 수 있다는 측면에서 중요한 의의를 지닌다.

The Effect of ESG Management on Social Welfare Organizations

  • Purpose: There is a significant opportunity for ESG management to act as a useful guideline for social welfare organizational structures when dealing with sustainability and ethical leadership. The ESG guidelines should allow these companies to improve their business efficacy. This paper aims to explore the specific impacts of ESG management on social welfare. Research design, data and methodology: The systematic review approach ensures that quality work is undertaken in tackling the existing gaps in the literature on ESG management in social welfare organizations. The outcomes of this review will give a useful 'real-life' picture of the consequences of ESG practices and suggestions that can increase the efficiency and sustainability of social welfare organizations. Results: The principal favorable consequences are discussed in this chapter regarding the social welfare organization due to the implementation of ESG management. Subsequently, each effect is posted under different sub-titles and evidence from previously conducted research studies. Conclusions: ESG management is vital for social welfare organizations since it increases their efficiency in operations, public image, and opportunities to receive funds, and it helps improve relations with stakeholders. More so, these organizations can embrace the ESG practices and as a result bring more efficiency to the general welfare of the society.

지속가능성 교육을 위한 초등학교 생태감사 프로그램 개발 방안 (A Study to develop an ecological audit program in elementary schools for sustainability education)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 지속가능성 교육을 위하여 초등학교 교육과정에 적용할 수 있는 생태감사 프로그램의 개발 방안을 마련하는 것이다. 학교 생태감사는 학생 또는 학교라는 집단이 학교의 환경적 문제점을 스스로 파악하고 해결할 수 있도록 하는 것으로, 이를 통해 오래갈 의사결정과 태도를 함양할 수 있다. 문헌 연구를 통해 초등학교 교육과정에 적용 가능한 생태감사 프로젝트 학습 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발한 프로그램은 6학년을 대상으로 하며, 생태감사의 절차적 과정 및 교육과정을 반영하여 16차시로 구성하였다. 개발된 프로그램의 학교 현장 안착 및 학교 지속가능성 향상을 위해서는 학교 환경을 주기적으로 관찰할 수 있는 학교 환경관리 시스템의 도입과 학교 교사의 역량 강화, 학교 외부의 전문적 인증제도 등이 필요하다. 그리고 이러한 상향식 정책 결정 체제로서, 학생들의 환경교육 활동을 통한 지속 가능한 학교 문화 확산도 기대할 수 있다.

지속가능성을 고려한 도시부 도로의 서비스수준 통합 평가 연구 (Integrated Evaluation of Level of Service for Urban Streets Considering Sustainability)

  • PURPOSES : This paper aims to improve the evaluation method of the Level of Service(LOS) for urban streets presented by the current Korean Highway Capacity Manual(KHCM) and suggest its utilization plan as a part of the methods to evaluate the sustainability of a transportation policy. METHODS : This paper carried out a research in 3 steps to develop a new evaluation method. First of all, this paper reviewed the previous studies related to the LOS of urban streets and the socially requested items for a sustainable transportation system. Then this paper derived an index and weight through expert questions to select an evaluation index. Lastly, this paper compared the results according to the existing evaluation methods with the new evaluation methods through case studies. This paper used an Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) for importance analysis and weight selection between new evaluation items and indices, and applied a Grey System Theory(GST) for a synthetic and integrated evaluation between the selected evaluation indices. RESULTS : As a result of evaluating the LOS according to the existing evaluation methods and the integrated evaluation methods using a GST through case studies, it was analyzed that new methods' results are less than or equal to the existing evaluation methods; and as a result of applying a weight between evaluation indices according to AHP, it was noticed that the total score seems to rise more when the LOS in the existing evaluation is calculated lower. It was analyzed that the LOS calculated by reflecting the newly established evaluation items and the importance between indices in this study has difference from the LOS of the existing urban streets. CONCLUSIONS : It is expected that this evaluation method can diagnose the current conditions when establishing a future sustainable traffic system and can be used for the measurement of the sustainability effects of the improvement plans and so on.

A New Strategy to Improve the Efficiency and Sustainability of Candida parapsilosis Catalyzing Deracemization of (R,S)-1-Phenyl-1,2-Ethanediol Under Non-Growing Conditions: Increase of NADPH Availability

  • Microbial oxidoreductive systems have been widely used in asymmetric syntheses of optically active alcohols. However, when reused in multi-batch reaction, the catalytic efficiency and sustainability of non-growing cells usually decreased because of continuous consumption of required cofactors during the reaction process. A novel method for NADPH regeneration in cells was proposed by using pentose metabolism in microorganisms. Addition of D-xylose, L-arabinose, or D-ribose to the reaction significantly improved the conversion efficiency of deracemization of racemic 1-phenyl-1,2-ethanediol to (S)-isomer by Candida parapsilosis cells already used once, which afforded the product with high optical purity over 97%e.e. in high yield over 85% under an increased substrate concentration of 15 g/l. Compared with reactions without xylose, xylose added to multi-batch reactions had no influence on the activity of the enzyme catalyzing the key step in deracemization, but performed a promoting effect on the recovery of the metabolic activity of the non-growing cells with its consumption in each batch. The detection of activities of xylose reductase and xylitol dehydrogenase from cell-free extract of C. parapsilosis made xylose metabolism feasible in cells, and the depression of the pentose phosphate pathway inhibitor to this reaction further indicated that xylose facilitated the NADPH-required deracemization through the pentose phosphate pathway in C. parapsilosis. moreover, by investigating the cofactor pool, the xylose addition in reaction batches giving more NADPH, compared with those without xylose, suggested that the higher catalytic efficiency and sustainability of C. parapsilosis non-growing cells had resulted from xylose metabolism recycling NADPH for the deracemization.

서울의 빗장주거단지가 근린의 사회적 지속가능성에 미치는 영향 평가 (Assessment of the impact of gated communities on social sustainability of neighborhoods in Seoul)

  • 대부분의 국내 아파트단지는 서비스 공급의 자족성, 자치, 폐쇄성이 특징인 빗장주거단지(gated community)라고 할 수 있다. 오늘날 동네에 끼치는 영향은 고려하지 않은 채 기존의 아파트단지 담장에 더해 단지 내부로 외부 보행자 출입을 막는 차단문이 설치되면서, 아파트단지의 폐쇄성은 더욱 강화되고 있다. 이러한 빗장주거단지의 폐쇄성 강화가 근린의 사회적 지속가능성에 끼치는 영향을 평가하기 위해 근린 내 주거유형을 주거지 폐쇄의 정도에 따라 저층주거지, 일반 아파트단지, 차단문이 설치된 아파트단지로 나누고 설문을 통해 각각의 사회적 지속가능성을 평가하였다. 분석 결과 차단문의 설치는 사회적 지속가능성 중 삶의 질 관련 지표를 높이는 효과는 있으나, 일반 아파트단지보다 포용성 지표를 대폭 낮춤으로써 근린의 사회적 응집력을 낮추는 것으로 나타났다. 폐쇄성이 강화된 새로운 아파트단지는 기존 아파트단지와 저층주거지 간에 유지되어 온 공존 질서를 뒤흔들고, 근린 내 공간적·사회적 분리를 강화하고 있다.

의류제품의 세탁조건과 지속가능성: 세탁온도와 세탁시간을 중심으로 (Sustainability of Textile Products based on Washing Conditions: Focusing on the washing temperature and washing time)

  • The use stage of a textile product impacts sustainability more significantly than other stages of the product's life cycle due to repeated washing and drying. This study determines efficient washing conditions, with high detergency, to reduce energy consumption from excessive washing and improve the washing process sustainability. Detergency was measured at various washing temperatures ($20^{\circ}C$, $40^{\circ}C$, and $60^{\circ}C$) and time (10 min, 20 min, and 30 min) using standardized soiled fabrics, i.e., 100% cotton, polyester/cotton (65%/35%), and 100% polyester woven fabric soiled with pigment/sebum, carbon black/mineral oil, soot/mineral oil, cocoa, blood, and red wine. Detergency at the washing condition of $20^{\circ}C$ and 30 min was higher than that at $40^{\circ}C$ and 10 min. In addition, detergency at the condition of $40^{\circ}C$ and 30 min was also higher than that at $60^{\circ}C$ and 10 minutes. This may be because a reduced washing effect at low washing temperatures was complemented by increased mechanical action over a long time. Further, washing temperature and time, with the same detergency, differed based on the type of fiber and soil. Also, the influence of a detergent on the detergency depends on the type of soil. The results suggest that energy and detergent have been consumed more than necessary in actual laundry. According to each type of fiber and soil, washing conditions designed to reduce the energy consumption of the washing process while maintaining the same detergency, were determined.

Bargaining-Based Smart Grid Pricing Model for Demand Side Management Scheduling

  • A smart grid is a modernized electrical grid that uses information about the behaviors of suppliers and consumers in an automated fashion to improve the efficiency, reliability, economics, and sustainability of the production and distribution of electricity. In the operation of a smart grid, demand side management (DSM) plays an important role in allowing customers to make informed decisions regarding their energy consumption. In addition, it helps energy providers reduce peak load demand and reshapes the load profile. In this paper, we propose a new DSM scheduling scheme that makes use of the day-ahead pricing strategy. Based on the Rubinstein-Stahl bargaining model, our pricing strategy allows consumers to make informed decisions regarding their power consumption, while reducing the peak-to-average ratio. With a simulation study, it is demonstrated that the proposed scheme can increase the sustainability of a smart grid and reduce overall operational costs.

Assessment Items of Outdoor Environment through Analysis of SITES - Focused on the Comparison with G-SEED and LEED -

  • Although assessing outdoor environment and green space in terms of sustainability and environmental performance is perceived as an important issue, most existing green building certification systems are more focused on buildings and indoor environment. Recently, the Sustainable Site Initiatives (SITES) has been developed by American Society of Landscape Architecture in order to evaluate sustainability of site development and outdoor environment. Separate from LEED, the SITES are increasingly receiving attentions as a reliable certification system in the United States. As a preliminary study to develop the items of outdoor environmental assessment, the present study is purposed to analyze the assessment items, grading system and applicability of SITES for better understanding on the system. Also it was compared to existing green building certification criteria, including G-SEED, LEED-NC, and LEED-ND in order to investigate similarities and discrepancies. The results would provide insights and basic data to improve assessment items for outdoor environment of G-SEED.
