The aim of this study was to provide strategic implications for the coffee market in which competition got severer through IPA analysis based on the attributes of selection of a specialized franchise coffee shop. The results of a positive analysis conducted with undergraduates in their twenties were as follows: According to the evaluation of the importance of the attributes of selection of a specialized coffee shop, the most important were 'cleanliness and hygienic facilities inside the shop (6.09)' and 'taste and quality of the menu (coffee) (6.09)'. According to the performance analysis, those showing the highest performance were 'brand image (4.92)' and 'cleanliness and hygienic facilities inside the shop (4.92)'. According to the result of IPA analysis, what customers regarded as being the most important were 'taste and quality of the menu (coffee)', 'kindness of the staff', and 'cleanliness and hygienic facilities inside the shop', and, in fact, they showed great performances as well. However, 'price of the menu (coffee)' was regarded as being important but did not indicate a great performance; therefore, they showed dissatisfaction with it. Although they did not think 'environment around the shop', 'brand image', 'brand recognition' or 'interior size and scale of the shop' were important, the attributes did not appear to show great performances. Therefore, we need constant maintenance strate gies regarding the fact that consumers are considered to be very important for evaluation, and should make efforts to change the price in advance.

This paper shows the design improvement and test model of FAU (Frequency Analysis Unit) in PDD (Partial Discharge Diagnosis system) for 800kV GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear). We found some problems during operation of previous FAU, such as the aging of fiber-optic converter that can cause communication error, the malfunction of signal analysis circuit etc. And then we solved those problems by design improvement and verified the performance through type test. To monitor partial discharge, the performance of UHF sensor is important but the performance of frequency analysis unit is also very important. So we solved communication error, the malfunction of signal analysis circuit and then increased the operation reliability of FAU by improving fiber-optic converter and signal analysis circuit. Accredited testing laboratory carried out the performance verification test according to performance test criteria and procedure of reliability test standards, IEC-60225, 61000 and 60068 etc. We confirmed the test results which correspond with the performance test criteria.

The overall performance of BISDN depends significantly on the interconnection network or the switch fabric. Hence, it is extremely important to evaluate the performance of the network or the fabric. The well developed performance models also provide insight into the factors that determine design tradeoffs as well as quantitative estimates of their importance. The objective of this paper is to investigate and critically compare all the developed performance analysis models of FPS according to internal switch fabric structure, traffic assumptions, performance measures, methodologies, etc. FPSs are described according to their internal fabric structure. Brief history of FPS performance analysis is mentioned and performance analysis modeling is discussed.

Automatic transmission for heavy duty vehicles is a part of the power pack which includes steering and braking systems. This transmission in different from the one for passenger car. Therefore, in order to understand the trend of the important design parameters, maneuverability, acceleration performance and maximum speed, we need to analyze the total performance characteristics of the power transmission systems. In this study, modeling of the automatic transmission in heavy duty vehicle is carried out and the performance analysis method is presented. Results can be used for performance estimation data in the analysis for several combination method which determines the optimal parameters on the basis of penalty functions and weightings. And the estimation method of the important performance parameters such as engine inertia or power loss of engine by experiments is presented.

Axial-flow compressor is one of the most important parts of gas turbine units with axial turbine and combustor. Therefore, precise prediction of performance is very important for development of new compressor or modification of existing one. Meanline analysis is a simple, fast and powerful method for performance prediction of axial-flow compressors with different geometries. So, Meanline analysis is frequently used in preliminary design stage and performance analysis for given geometry data. Much correlations for meanline analysis have been developed theoretically and experimentally for estimating various types of losses and flow deviation angle for long time. In present study, meanline analysis program was developed to estimate compressor losses, incidence angles, deviation angles, stall and surge conditions with many correlations. Performance prediction of one stage axial compressors is conducted with this meanline analysis program. The comparison between experimental and numerical results show a good agreement. This meanline analysis program can be used for various types of single stage axial-flow compressors with different geometries, as well as multistage axial-flow compressors.

The purpose of this study is to identify function of make-up as an Important variable in terms of its influence to psychology of performers and outcome of their performance. From June to November 2004 performers in 4 types of fields, i.e., opera, musical, drama and dancing being performed in Seoul and Cheongju were chosen as subjects and totally 450 questionnaires were prepared and distributed and among them 416 were used as data for final analysis. For data analysis frequency analysis, factor analysis, T-test, one-way ANOVA, path analysis, chi-square test were conducted by means of SPS 12.0 and MOS 4.0 statistical programs and as ex post facto checking Duncan's multiful range test was conducted. Make-up is an important element in acting and it has great influence on level of psychological satisfaction of an individual. It was disclosed that psychological factor of concentration and lethargy have direct bearing on acting performance. In order to maximize actor or actresses performance skill perfect make-up is essential and role of make-up specialist can become a critical factor for inducing success in performance. Role and duty of make-up artists in terms of scope of their responsibility should be extended so that they may give their full support to the performers to be most successful in their performance.

This study aimed to provide basic data for the national park management by analysing visitors' behavior and satisfaction determinants by importance-performance analysis and estimated regression analysis through post-occupancy evaluation questionnaire method to the Gyeongju National Park visitors. It was found that facilities and use management according to place and use group, the diversity of visit program, high quality of guidance and hospitality of staffs and conservation of historic and landscape resources for Gyeongju National Park were necessary as the results of behavior analysis, importance-performance analysis. The historic landscape resources, hospitality of staffs, visit road and safety facilities, commercial facilities were important determinants of users' satisfaction as the results of regression analysis. It suggested the characteristics of Gyeongju National Park and these factors were the most important factors for the improved management.

Everyone knows how much the company business goal is achieved is the most important to all companies. In order to maximize the business performance, many companies have introduced a diversity of management innovation activities. The effect of business performance is important in the business activity, but an efficiency of output-to-input concept is significantly important. Each year, companies have managed the business through a sum of performance. In terms of the efficiency of business performance, the management is importantly managed. In the efficiency of business performance, there are the main items including the total assets, employees, and operating expenses as the input. As the output, there are the main items of sales, current term's net income. This study is intended to calculate the business efficiency through DEA analysis for companies' business performance, and to study in order for the efficiency of business performance to be considered when the companies establish the mid and long term business plan.

Cooperative and integrative partnerships between buyers and suppliers are very important for effective operations. Such partnerships should be based on various information technologies developed in recent years. Therefore, we investigated the relationship among IT performance, IT infrastructure and supply chain performance in buyer-supplier linkage using exploratory examination. This analysis is based on survey results of buyer-supplier practitioners in Korean electronics industry. Specifically, we used factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. Major findings are as follows. First. buyers' IT performance contributed to enhance their operational & financial performance, and satisfaction. Second, buyers' IT infrastructure improved their financial performance and satisfaction but showed mixed effects on operational performance. Third, suppliers' operational performance enhanced buyers' operational & financial performance, and satisfaction. Fourth, suppliers' IT performance strengthened their operational & financial performance, and satisfaction. Fifth, suppliers' IT infrastructure showed positive relationships with operational performance and satisfaction.

The primary purpose of this study was to investigate business performance in small apparel retailer's stores operated independently. Data were collected from 167 managers independently operating small apparel stores in Busan and Ulsan. The aforementioned were analyzed utilizing frequency, factor analysis, ANOVA, regression analysis using SPSS Win 12.0. The results showed as follows; Factors influencing on perception of managers on business performance were market information, cost/quality control, opposing power to business depression, store management, product management, sales promotion. There were significant differences between factors influencing on perception of managers on business performance and business performance(the extent of success, profit and growth). It was market information and store management that the most important for the extent of success. It was opposing power to business depression, store management and product management that the most important for the extent of profit. It was market information, store management and product management that the most important for the extent of growth.
