The Brand Management Strategy focused on Importance-Performance Analysis on Innovation Brand of Government Ministries (정부부처 혁신브랜드의 중요도-성과분석을 중심으로 한 브랜드 관리 전략)

  • This study explored which the component factors on innovation brand to building an organizational culture of government. The innovation brand perception of organizational officers are in order brand awareness(recognition, discrimination) and brand loyalty(identification, ease of memory, meaning diffusion, the reaction of customer needs), brand salience, brand knowledge and brand innovation. The result of Importance-Performance analysis are as follows. We can see that Brand loyalty have Quadrant I meaning good management implementation. Brand Knowledge have Quadrant II meaning concentrate improving. Brand Uniqueness have Quadrant III meaning improving. And Recognition, familiarity and salience have Quadrant IV meaning low relative importance and high performance. The Quadrant IV consider the cost and benefit of brand management.

The Assessment of High School Students' Satisfaction on the Foodservice (서울지역 고등학생의 급식만족도 분석)

  • The purposes of this study were to examine the needs in foodservice in the view of students and to determine the ways to improve the foodservice quality. A survey was undertaken from 381 high school students by using a self-completed questionnaire regarding the student' satisfaction on the foodservice. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS program for descriptive analysis, t-test, and analysis of variance. The students assessed the importance and performance of the meal service as 4.19 and 2.52 out of 5, respectively, which suggests that the school foodservice needs to be improved. The attributes identified in Quadrant A, which was labelled 'focus here' and supposed to incidate the areas of high importance but in low performance, were the availability of meals that the students like, variety of menu, taste of the food, sanitary quality of the food, sanitized utensil, and response to complanints. The results of Importance-Performance Analusis(lPA) indicated the areas that the attention of management should be given to improve the quality of foodservice.

A Comparison Study on Selection Attributes and Satisfaction in the University Foodservice Using IPA - Focused on Difference in Accessibility to Outside Restaurants - (IPA를 이용한 대학교 학생식당 선택속성과 만족도 비교 연구 - 외부 식당과의 접근성 차이를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a way of the efficient operation of university foodservice through the Importance-Performance Analysis and examine a causal relationship between selection attributes and satisfaction. A survey was carried out in class, and after excluding 12(A University) and 20(B University) unusable cases which had an unacceptable level of missing data, 108 out of 120(A University) and 104 out of 124(B University) cases were used for analysis. As for A University, IPA showed that taste, variety, food cleanliness, table cleanliness, and tableware cleanliness were included in the concentrating efforts items. As for B University, IPA showed that taste, variety, and table cleanliness were in the concentrating efforts items that university foodservice managers should improve. Also, through t-test difference analysis on selection attributes of A University and B University in the research model, this study confirmed that both A University and B University displayed positive difference in personal services. And, through regression analysis, food quality had a positive influence on satisfaction.
