Recently, the importance of not only financial factors from financial statements but also non-financial factors such as consumers' evaluation and loyalty to game content is more emphasized when assessing the value of game companies. In this study, we suggest the brand reputation index as an appropriate measure of a game company's valuation and examine the effect of the brand reputation on game companies' stock price using the observations of Korean major 30 game companies. From the empirical results, we find that there is a significantly positive association between the brand reputation index and the game companies' stock price. This explains that the brand reputation of game companies can directly affect their firm value. The findings are expected to contribute to capital markets and academia as they have presented empirical evidence of the importance of brand reputation as a non-financial measure for the valuation of game companies.
Recently, as the importance of warehouses has increased, much efforts are being made to improve the picking process in order to cope with a small amount of high frequency and fast delivery. This study proposes an algorithm to assign orders to pickers in the situation where Single Order Picking policy is used. This algorithm utilizes five attributes related to picking such as picking processing time, elapsed time after receipt of order, inspection/packing workstation situation, picker error, customer importance. A measure of urgency is introduced so that the units of measure for each attribute are the same. The higher the urgency, the higher the allocation priority. In the proposed algorithm, the allocation policy can be flexibly adjusted according to the operational goal of the picking system by changing the weight of each attribute. Simulation experiments were performed on a hypothetical small logistics warehouse. The results showed excellent performance in terms of system throughput and flow time.
For the Korean fashion industry to become more competitive, not only does it need to develop a higher value-added fashion products, but also needs to raise creative and professional talented people. The purpose of this study is to propose ways to develop new curriculum for education in the fashion design field by analyzing the degree of recognition about the importance of curriculum in fashion design. Based on the curriculums of fashion design field of universities, a survey was conducted using a questionnaire to measure the degree of importance and the degree of application for the curriculum of fashion design field. The study gathered data from 235 students from 6 universities in Seoul. Major conclusions of the study are as follows: First, preferred career courses after graduation were fashion designer for woman's or menswear, patterner. Second, clothing construction field is considered to be the most important subject in the present, while material planning field is considered to become the most important in the future. The fashion design field was evaluated as an important field in the present and the future. Third, fashion design, accessory design, fashion design CAD, fashion illustration were evaluated as important subjects and highly available for career. Fourth, fashion design CAD, fashion illustration, and textile design were evaluated as the courses that needed more emphasis. Flat sketch, spec sheet, on-the-job training were needed to be included. Fashion designer, and patterner were preferred for career courses. Clothing construction, material planning, and fashion design were evaluated as important fields. Accessory design, fashion design CAD, and fashion illustration were evaluated as important and highly available subjects for career. For the new curriculum in the fashion design field, more courses on fashion design CAD, fashion illustration, textile design and on-the-job training are needed.
This study examined the clothing behavior in terms of creativity, individuality and conformity. The subjects were 317 boys(mean age: 18) and 312 girls(mean age: 18) in third grade of high school, in which were situated at north and south part of Han-River in Seoul. They were administered with the following questionnaires to measure the attitudinal and behavioral conformity, creativity, individuality, clothing conformity, clothing nonconformity, clothing confidence, aesthetic sense, clothing importance, fashionability. Results indicated that (1) high school students who have high creativity showed higher scores in clothing nonconformity, clothing confidence, aesthetic sense, clothing importance than those who have low creativity. But there were no significant differences between two groups in clothing conformity and fashionability(p<0.001). (2) High school students who have high individuality showed higher scores in clothing conformity clothing, nonconformity, clothing confidence, aesthetic sense, clothing importance and fashionability than those who have low individuality(p<0.001). (3) Students who have low attitudinal conformity showed higher scores in clothing nonconformity, clothing confidence and aesthetic sense(p<0.001) and lower score in information and norm specific clothing confirmity(p<0.05) than those who have high attitudinal conformity. And those who have high behavioral conformity showed higher score in clothing confirmity than those who have low behavioral confirmity(p<0.05). From these findings, we could find that the importance of creativity and individuality was greater than that of conformity in clothing behavior. These results were discussed and following studies were suggested.
In this study the phenomenon of commodity substitution of housework is approach in the contexts of economic system, patriachal family system and housework-related human resources. the objectives of this study are as follows: (1) To measure the level of commodity substitution of housework in large cities. (2)To investigate the factors influencing commodity substitution of housework. The samples were composed of 982 housewives dwelling in 6 large cities including Seoul. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency distribution, percetile. multiple regression analysis. The major findings are the following; (1) When the housework was divided into two subdomains , in the domain of food the purchase level was for below average while in the domain of clothes, the level was quite higher than average. This result hows that commodity substitution has become more common in the domain of clothes by mass production of clothes on a commercial scale. (2) the level of commodity substitution of housework was influenced by the family attribute variables such as housewife's age, family income. housewife's education, family types, housewife's brought-up regions, presence of sewing machine, employment status of housewife, by one patriarchal norm variable such as home-orientedness, and by tow human resource variables such as importance of housework and household tasks performance competnecy. Among variables house wife's age was the most influential one and such variables as family income, housewife's education, household task performance competency, importance of housework, and home-orientedness were also important. Considering that the influence of home-orientedness demonstrates the importance of patriarchy and that importance of housework and that performance competency also are determined by the patriarchal variables such as sex-role attitude and home-orientedness, we can conclude that Hartmann's theoretical approach with which the changes of housework were explained in the two contexts of economic system and family system is applied to the changes of housework in Korea.

Purpose: This place, which is currently becoming an issue due to historical preservation and landscape protection, is also a place where urban residents around Taereung actually visit often. Thus, this study aims to analyze the importance of the evaluating factors in creating a relatable image of the city. Methods: Evaluation items were selected by reviewing related books and research literatures and reassessing the reviewed items through an expert group interview (FGI). For the selected evaluation items, the relative importance of the evaluation items for the place image was analyzed by applying the hierarchical analysis technique (AHP) to each user group. Result: A place becomes a memory in people's experiences and time, and it has the image and identity of the region where those experiences and memories are found again as a space called "place". The method of analyzing the importance of evaluation items between place images used in this study quantified the factors recognized as abstract images and identified the degree of influence between elements, but has limitation in that it targeted specific places. However, the analysis method on the place image recognition suggests the use of itemized variables for characteristics between place images, so future research on the identity of other place images can be conducted together. Also, the evaluation method of the image that recognizes the place has an objective meaning in that it can measure the image of the place quantitatively. In the future, it can be applied in creating an image forming factor or urban identity for place recognition in many regions

The purpose of this study is to try to IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) by applying text mining approaches to user review data for korea mobile banking applications, and to derive priorities for improvement. User review data on mobile banking applications of korea commercial banks (Kookmin Bank, Shinhan Bank, Woori Bank, Hana Bank), local banks (Gyeongnam Bank, Busan Bank), and Internet banks (Kakao Bank, K-Bank, Toss) that gained from Google playstore were used. And LDA topic modeling, frequency analysis, and sentiment analysis were used to derive key attributes and measure the importance and satisfaction of each attribute. Result, although 'Authorizing service', 'Improvement of Function', 'Login', 'Speed/Connectivity', 'System/Update' and 'Banking Service' are relatively important attributes when users use mobile banking applications, their satisfaction is not at the average level, indicating that improvement is urgent.

The ability to measure groundwater contaminant flux is increasingly being recognized as crucial in order to prioritize contaminated site cleanups, estimate the efficiency of remediation technologies, measure rates of natural attenuation, and apply proper source terms to model groundwater contaminant transport. Recently, a number of methods have been developed and subsequently applied to measure contaminant mass flux in groundwater in the field. Flux measurement methods can be categorized as either point methods or integral methods. As the name suggests, point methods measure flux at a specific point or points in the subsurface. To increase confidence in the accuracy of the measurement, it is necessary to increase the number of points (and therefore, the cost) of the sampling network. Integral methods avoid this disadvantage by using pumping wells to interrogate large volumes of the subsurface. Unfortunately, integral methods are expensive because they require that large volumes of contaminated water be extracted and managed. Recent work has investigated the development of an integral method that does not require extraction of contaminated water from the subsurface. We begin with a review of the significance and importance of measuring groundwater contaminant mass flux. We then review groundwater contaminant flux measurement methods that are either currently in use or under development. Finally, we conclude with a qualitative comparison of the various flux measurement methods.
The mean and Clustering are important methods of data mining, which is now widely applied to various multi-attributes problem However, feature weighting and feature selection are important in those methods bemuse features may differ in importance and such differences need to be considered in data mining with various multiful-attributes problem. In addition, in the event of arithmetic mean, which is inadequate to figure out the most fitted result for structure of evaluation with attributes that there are weighted and ranked. Moreover, it is hard to catch hold of a specific character for assume the form of user's group. In this paper. we propose a dispersion mean algorithm for evaluation of similarity measure based on the geometrical figure. In addition, it is applied to mean classified by user's group. One of the key issues to be considered in evaluation of the similarity measure is how to achieve objectiveness that it is not change over an item ranking in evaluation process.
Objectives: This study aimed to measure the awareness and needs for intellectual property (IP) education among university students majoring in health-related fields to inform the development of future IP education curricula. Methods: The study was conducted through an online survey from January 5 to 26, 2024, targeting students from the health-related departments (Department of Physical Therapy, Health Administration, Clinical Laboratory Science, and Dental Hygiene) at Dankook University located in Cheonan City, Chungcheongnam-do. Results: A total of 151 students participated in the survey. Among the respondents, 84.8% were women, and the largest groups of respondents were from the Health Administration and Dental Hygiene departments, each accounting for 32.5%. Only 13.9% of the respondents had taken courses related to IP, and 22.5% had related activity experience. The overall average importance score of IP education was 3.88 (±0.80), and the overall average need score was 3.78 (±0.80). An Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) Matrix analysis revealed that 13 topics fell into the first quadrant (high importance, high need), one topic into the second quadrant (low importance, high need), 18 topics into the third quadrant (low importance, low need), and four topics into the fourth quadrant (high importance, low need). The educational topics identified as first quadrant include 'Securing patent rights', 'Requirements for patent registration', 'Effects and contents of patent rights', 'Patent infringement and remedies', and 'Effects and contents of copyrights'. Conclusions: Future IP education programs should develop innovative educational content and methods that consider both the importance and needs to increase students' interest and engagement.
