  • Community Health Planning has been used in public health centers for over 10 years, but little is known about its effect and how it is utilized by public health centers. This paper examines the effect of Community Health Planning on public health centers'organizational performance through the use of the Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) technique. We conducted e-mail surveys of chiefs, people in charge of planning and other staff members in all the public health centers in the country. The instrument measured self-evaluated levels of Community Health Planning, implementation and the effect on the public health centers. The model of the SEM technique has five latent constructs: requirements of planning, plan formulation, implementation, organizational capacity and performance. The SEM technique validated the instrument used in the study and exhibited a relatively good fit. Results of this study were as follows. First, the requirements of planning have positive effects on plan formulation. Second, plan formulation has positive effects on organizational capacity but plan implementation doesn't. Third, there was no statistically significant path between plan formulation, implementation and performance. Fourth, organizational capacity has positive effects on performance. Consequently, this study revealed that Community Health Planning has a positive influence on organizational performance through organizational capacity.

  • PGA(Phase Gradient Autofocus) is a representative autofocus technique to improve the SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) image quality. PGA can estimate high order phase errors and have good robustness in noisy environments. However, PGA is not suitable to apply to the stripmap mode data directly because it is based on the spotlight mode operation. In this paper, the PGA implementation technique for stripmap mode data and the method of ROI(Region of Interest) selection that affects severely on PGA performance have been proposed. The proposed technique was verified by the point target simulation first, and was applied to the real SAR signal data acquired by the flight test. Finally, the significant improvements in focusing quality were shown in the processed SAR images using the proposed method.

  • In the Java a profiler interface such as JVM TI is provided for communication between a Java virtual machine and a profiler. The JVM TI specification, however does not require an implementation of a profiler interface. Consequently the JVM without an implementation of a profiler interface cannot use a profiler with the JVM TI. For solving the problem, we propose a technique which analyzes heap usage without a profiler interface. This technique inserts codes to extract heap usage into source files in the Java. We implemented a code inserter to verify the proposed technique. We experimented with Java programs that are frequently used and opened. the experimental result presents the number of created objects. the maximum number of allocated objects, and the used pattern of the objects.

  • Fixslicing AES is a technique that omits the Shiftrows step to minimize the cost of the linear layer of Bitsliced AES, showing a 30% performance over the Bitsliced technique. However, the amount of code increases to compensate for the omitted shiftrows. Therefore, it is proposed to be divided into Semi-Fixsliced in which only half of shiftrows are omitted and Fully-Fixsliced in which Shiftrows are omitted completely. In this paper, we propose a CTR mode implementation of Fixslicing AES on RISC-V using the pre-computed table technique. By utilizing the characteristics of the CTR mode, it is possible to perform fast encryption by omitting up to the second round SubBytes from the encryption process through pre-computed up to the second round SubBytes operation. Using this technique, it was confirmed that Semi-Fixsliced has a performance of 1,345 cycles per block and a performance improvement of 7% compared to the previous performance result, and Fully-Fixsliced has a performance of 1,283 cycles per block and a performance of 9% compared to the previous performance result on 32-bit RISC-V.

  • In this paper, we propose a developing approach of 600 W super high frequency(SHF) traveling wave tube amplifier (TWTA) for communications. Also, we make a TWTA called the experimental-TWTA(ETWTA), which uses a cathode ripple reduction technique to improve RF performance. After implementation, we discuss, and compare it with some other TWTAs. Its RF performance is better than that of other TWTAs. Therefore, this methodology can be used to develop the high power SHF TWTA for communications.

  • The USN is important in technique, unmanned observation using wireless network camera, detection technique that use intrusion detection sensor. But these encrypted data transmission and processing technique through sensor network, method of the staff's location recognition and arrangement aren't serviced still as a integrated system in facility security industry. This paper proposed that improve facility management, the staff present recognition and system efficiency using RFID, USN and wireless camera.

  • This paper investigates the performance of the hyperbolic position location(PL) technique in CDMA system. Hyperbolic PL systems are such technology that can provide accurate PL information using the existing cellualr/PCS infrastructure and without requiring additional hardware/software implementation within the mobile unit. The channel simulation is obtained by applying AWGN and multipath fading. The effect of the mobile position within the cell and the number of base stations on the accuracy of the hyperbolic PL technique is investigated.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify hair salon's implementation strategies and current service condition for mass customization. The questionnaire was composed of 82 questions. 115 hair salon's directors were subjects of this study. The results were as follows: Hair salon's mass customization strategies were categorized into 6 factors such as staff's technique, communication service, electronic products, monetary support, man-to-man service, and dissatisfaction removal service. Hair salons were categorized into 2 groups of a high implementation group and a low implementation group. A high implementation group had a higher monthly sales and more regular customers and staff. The hair salons were franchises and were more spacious in the high group. They were located at fashion street, department store, or outlet mall, and offered fashionable hair styles. However, a low implementation group had a lower monthly sales and less regular customers and staffs. The size of hair salon was small in the low group. They were located in residential areas and offered basic hair styles.

  • The need for appropriate technology in global health has expanded dramatically as the gap between industrialized and developing countries continues to expand. However, there is no collective knowledge of appropriate technology in global health. Thus, this study intends to provide light on the latest developments in the field of appropriate technology in global health and to speculate on future directions. A rapid review, or simplified technique, was used to systematically identify and summarize emerging papers. The search technique used the keywords "global health" and "appropriate technology." The total number of papers collected from PubMed and Scopus was 427, and 19 articles were thoroughly reviewed for the result section following the research. The study's conclusions included the following: 1) an assessment of appropriate technology adopted in developing countries; and 2) strategies for implementing appropriate technologies in global health. Additionally, we drew lessons and identified problems to serve as a useful guide for future research and development in appropriate technology. This review uncovered a small but valuable level of information about acceptable technology in global health.
