This study has identified human performance research issues associated with the implementation of new technology in nuclear power plants (NPPs). To identify the research issues, current industry developments and trends were evaluated in the areas of reactor technology, instrumentation and control technology, human-system integration technology, and human factors engineering (HFE) methods and tools. The issues were prioritized into four categories based on evaluations provided by 14 independent subject matter experts representing vendors, utilities, research organizations and regulators. Twenty issues were categorized into the top priority category. The study also identifies the priority of each issue and the rationale for those in the top priority category. The top priority issues were then organized into research program areas of: New Concepts of Operation using Multi-agent Teams, Human-system Interface Design, Complexity Issues in Advanced Systems, Operating Experience of New and Modernized Plants, and HFE Methods and Tools. The results can serve as input to the development of a long-term strategy and plan for addressing human performance in these areas to support the safe operation of new NPPs.

The present study aims at a systematic access to EC information. EC information is the outcome of the complex organizations, the continuous changes in functions and the subsequent changes in policies. An attempt for an effective approach to the information requires the examination of the organizational structures and changes, the processes involved in formulating and implmenting the information policies, and the infrastucture for information. Information activities of the major organizations of EC have been examined with a special reference to the Commission of European Communities. The Commission is the EC institution from which the majority of the EC's documentation originates. The information functions of the Commission have been studied in such categories as information production and distribution, authorizing services, and information services to the public.

This study is to construct ODBC Database based Web, which has a structure of Web server and Database server connected with Database concerning server demand for the purpose of the efficient record, use and management of various document data. Each ASP OLE DB ran be saved and inferred by measuring CLC and ULC. That makes to record, use and management of document data more convenient. For the application of the suggested of the system this study is to put together into 6 categories and generalize the synthetic opinion column of high school student document.

This paper is reporting the whole process of developing a weight measuring scaler of truck and trailer system for static and dynamic condition. The sensors attached on the top of springs each wheels. Acquisition and data processing performs accurate data extraction from noise environment, filtering and estimation. Weight information was highly distorted with noise and perturbation. Hence the perturbation was classified several categories and evaluated for accurate signal extract. The final products supply accurate and easy readable data of load weight for truck. It supplies total weight as well as loading condition of each axle. It is expected that it give the information to the truck operator of proper amount loading and safe condition to drive with it.

본 논문은 새로 개정된 국어의 로마자 표기법(2000.7.7. 고시)에 따른 로마자 자동 변한 시스템의 구조와 변환 알고리즘을 제시한다. 특히 새 로마자 표기에 따른 규칙을 반영하여 사용자가 쉽고 편리하게 사용할 수 있도록 인명, 고유명사, 행정구역, 일반, 학술응용의 5개 항목으로 나누어 변환할 수 있게 했다. 또한 로마자표기에 적용한 표준 한글 음운변동 규칙과 로마자 표기의 원칙에 따른 5가지 변환 규칙을 도움말로 보여준다. 그리고 로마자 표기 원칙에 따라 발음상 혼동의 우려가 있는 부호의 규칙성을 조사하여 로마자 자동 변한 시스템에 적용함으로써 새 로마자 표기에서 발생할 수 있는 혼동을 제거하여 로마자 변환 시스템의 정확성을 높였다.

The "Green Policy" of Korean government is classified as three categories, the first is 'reduction of fossil fuel use', the second is 'clean energy development' and the last is 'sustainable green property which has a continuous value in the use'. In this matter, this study provides how the green property concept include green infrastructure and how to link the green infrastructure to effective geo-spatial management by cadastre system. The establishment of green infrastructure is not a simple procedure, but definitely starts from the cadastre system. If the green policy includes sustainable way of land/marine use, the green cadastre is significant because of its possibilities to be used as a powerful implementation.

Potential employers considering locations for production or service facilities typically equire detailed advance knowledge of the wages they will be expected to offer for workers in various occupational categories. The State of Missouri s Department of Labor and Industrial Relations is often contacted by organizations requesting such information. The current wage rate survey approach, initiated in 1988, allows the Department to predict an appropriate wage rate for a given occupation in certain counties, adjusted for changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI). However, both Department employees and firms have indicated that improved prediction responsiveness and accuracy are desirable. A major deficiency of the current approach is its inability to predict wages for unsurveyed counties. This paper describes a knowledge-based system (KBS), currently in the prototype testing stage, that is expected to supplement the wage rate survey in the near future.

The applicability of the algebraic collapsing acceleration (ACA) technique to the method of characteristics (MOC) in cases with scattering anisotropy and/or linear sources was investigated. Previously, the ACA was proven successful in cases with isotropic scattering and uniform (step) sources. A presentation is first made of the MOC implementation, available in the DRAGON5 code. Two categories of schemes are available for integrating the propagation equations: (1) the first category is based on exact integration and leads to the classical step characteristics (SC) and linear discontinuous characteristics (LDC) schemes and (2) the second category leads to diamond differencing schemes of various orders in space. The acceleration of these MOC schemes using a combination of the generalized minimal residual [GMRES(m)] method preconditioned with the ACA technique was focused on. Numerical results are provided for a two-dimensional (2D) eight-symmetry pressurized water reactor (PWR) assembly mockup in the context of the DRAGON5 code.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning and structure of the experiences of 20 years old women who participated in the pregnancy recognition improvement program developed by JA Kim et al. The participants of the study were interviewed three times in total for 20 years old of 6 women. The interview period was from December 1 to December 30, 2018. The interview data were processed through the analysis and interpretation process using the phenomenological research of Giorgi method. As a result, 33 semantic units were derived, and then divided into 4 subcomponents and divided into 2 categories. After participating in the program, they tried to maintain their health, use appropriate welfare policies, and deeply consider their lives as mysterious mothers. In conclusion, this study suggests that the implementation of the pregnancy awareness improvement program for young women in a small group, more systematically and continuously, effectively implements low fertility measures in Korea.

This paper encompasses a general technology in robot deburring automation using solid rotaing burr tools. Deburring is a cumbersome area in finishing technology, where design concept and system implementation is based on knowhows and experiences rather then theoretical development. In the field engineering it is diffcult to find a clue to where and how to start the system design. This paper presents a guide inselection of tool concept of geometry and material. Also, the concept of tool compliance system is introduced, which is one of the most important factor in robot deburring. Typical problems encountered in the field are classified into 20 categories and the solutions are suggested by the proven technology from the expertise. Special problems in polymer and diecasting areas are also briefly mentioned.
