국내 간호연구에서 적용된 심상요법 효과에 대한 메타분석 (A Meta-Analysis of the Effects of Imagery)

  • This study was to identify the trends and contents of imagery interventions and to evaluate the effects of imagery interventions by using meta-analysis. Method: The materials used for this study were 15 imagery intervention studies carried out from Jan. 1995 to Dec. 2001. The studies were analyzed and evaluated in different categories: 1) types of dependent variables 2) types of imagery 3) interval of imagery 4) total duration of imagery 5) sample characteristics 6) intervention method. Result: 1) Behavioral imagery was more prevalent than dynamic imagery. There were wide variations in duration, and interval of interventions. Imagery intervention had moderate effects on psychological variables (state of anxiety, depression & and stress etc.) and had moderate to large effects on physiological variable(pulse rate, cortisol etc.). Behavioral imagery had larger effects than dynamic imagery. Imagery applied to the public had larger effect on decreasing the state of anxiety and stress than applied to the patients. But imagery applied to the patients had a larger effect on decreasing depression than applied to the public. The imagery intervention method by using the individual approach had greater effect than group approach method. Conclusion: These results of this study will be used to guide the development of imagery interventions to nursing practice. Also, various types of imagery interventions need to be developed based on the characteristics of nursing practice.

Visual and Verbal Presentations of Haptic Information in Online Fashion Stores and Consumers' Imagery Information Processing

  • This study investigated how the visual and verbal presentation format of haptic information on apparel products in online stores affects consumers' imagery information processing. This includes the quantity and vividness of mental imagery, the ease of evoking mental imagery, and the evocation of imagination imagery. Additionally, the study explored consumer satisfaction with the information and online store. The study also tested a conceptual model to examine the effects of three imagery types on imagination imagery (as elaborated imagery) and how this imagination imagery affects consumer satisfaction. Employing a 2 × 3 × 2 between-subjects factorial design, twelve one-page websites were created for the experiment. 528 women in their 20s and 30s were randomly assigned to one of the 12 treatment conditions and answered the questionnaire. The results demonstrated significant differences in the three types of mental imagery, consumers' evocation of imagination imagery, and their satisfaction with information and online stores based on presentation format. The SEM analysis revealed that the quantity and vividness of mental imagery influenced the evocation of imagination imagery, affecting consumers' satisfaction with the information. These findings suggest that online retailers must provide close-up pictures or descriptive text of apparel products to elicit positive consumer responses.

인공위성영상을 활용한 북한의 농업생산기반 실태분석 (An Analysis of Agricultural Infrastructure Status of North Korea Using Satellite Imagery)

  • In this study, Agricultural Infrastructures of Shincheon-gun in North Korea are investigated using Kompsat-2 and RapidEye satellite imagery. Target agricultural infrastructures are agricultural landuse, irrigation and drainage canals, dammed pools for irrigation and pumping stations. KOMPSAT-2 satellite imagery are use to investigate agricultural hydraulic structures and agricultural landuse are investigated by RapidEye Imagery. Geometric correction are performed using 28 GCP and QUAC method are used for atmospherical correction in all imagery. ISODATA clustering and naked-eye classification method are used for extracting agricultural hydraulic structures and Object-based analysis is applied to classifying the agricultural landuse. Extraction results of agricultural hydraulic structures and agricultural are presented and we suggest the applicability of satellite imagery to investigate agricultural infrastructures in North Korea.

  • Change Detection is a useful technology that can be applied to various fields, taking temporal change information with the comparison and analysis among multi-temporal satellite images. Especially, Change Detection that utilizes high-resolution satellite imagery can be implemented to extract useful change information for many purposes, such as the environmental inspection, the circumstantial analysis of disaster damage, the inspection of illegal building, and the military use, which cannot be achieved by low- or middle-resolution satellite imagery. However, because of the special characteristics that result from high-resolution satellite imagery, it cannot use a pixel-based method that is used for low-resolution satellite imagery. Therefore, it must be used a feature-based algorithm based on the geographical and morphological feature. This paper presents the system that builds the change map by digitizing the boundary of the changed object. In this system, we can make the change map using manual or semi-automatic digitizing through the user interface implemented with a floating window that enables to detect the sign of the change, such as the construction or dismantlement, more efficiently.

Motor imagery on upper extremity function for persons with stroke: a systematic review and meta-analysis

  • Objective: The purpose of this review was to investigate whether motor imagery training has an effect on the recovery of upper extremity function in individuals with hemiparetic stroke or not. Design: A systematic review and meta-analysis. Methods: PubMed and three other databases were searched up to December 18th, 2018 and randomized controlled trials (RCTs) evaluating motor imagery training on upper extremity function in persons with a diagnosis of hemiparetic stroke were included. This review selected the following information from each study: surname of the first author, published year, nation, population, intervention, therapeutic intensity of intervention, therapeutic comparison, outcome measures, additional therapy, summary of results, and descriptive statistics of outcome measures. Results: This review selected seventeen RCTs with 487 stroke survivors and the following intervention methods: six motor imagery training with additional therapeutic technology, two motor imagery training with additional modified constraint-induced therapy, four mirror therapy, and five motor imagery training. Ten RCTs were eligible for meta-analysis after systematic review. The motor imagery group were more effective than the control group based on the Fugl-Meyer assessment (3.43; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.65 to 5.22; heterogeneity [$chi^2=8.03$, df=8, $I^2=0%$], test of overall effect Z=3.76; test for subgroup differences [$chi^2=2.56$, df=2, $I^2=21.8%$]) and the Action Research Arm Test (1.32; 95% CI, -8.12 to 10.76; heterogeneity [$Tau^2=70.74$, $chi^2=15.22$, df=3, $I^2=80%$], test of overall effect Z=3.76). Conclusions: The results of this review suggests that motor imagery shows positive effectiveness on improving upper extremity function in persons with hemiparetic stroke.

텍스타일 프린트 디자인 발상을 위한 대중음악 장르별 감성 언어이미지 연구 I (A Study on the Emotional Language Imagery according to Popular Music Genres for Development of Textile Print Design Ideas I)

  • This study investigates the positioning of emotional language imagesin popular music genres for developing textile print design ideas. Auditory and synaesthetic imagery were employed to deduct emotional language imageries from popular music genres and analyze differences in emotional language imageries according to popular music genres. Six genres of popular music were selected as stimulus and a survey was conducted to analyze emotional language imagery differences and similarities depending on popular music genres. The results of this study were: The results of the factor analysis and the reliability test on emotional language imagery showed factorial structures that include Lyrical-Feminine, Intense-Masculine, Euphoric-Active, Gloomy-Melancholy, Abstruse-Sophisticated, and Addictive-Continuous. The results of the mean scores of emotional language imagery of each popular music genre showed that respondents tended to perceive that ballad and new age music are similar and hip-hop & rap, dance, and metal-rock are similar. Based on the multidimensional scaling analysis, new age positioned Lyrical-Feminine, metal-rock positioned Intense-Masculine, dance music positioned Euphoric-Active, and ballad positioned Gloomy-Melancholy. This study provides elementary resources to inspire innovative textile prints designed through different characteristics of emotional language imagery according to each popular music genre.

광역의 가뭄 분석을 위한 위성영상의 활용 (The Application of Satellite Imagery in Droughts Analysis of Large Area)

  • 현재 물부족 국가로 분류되고 있는 우리나라 현실에서 가뭄은 재해 관리에 있어서 중요한 요소가 되고 있다. 위성영상은 광역의 지표면에 대해 오랜 시간 동안 주기적으로 자료를 취득할 수 있게 해주므로, 이를 가뭄의 관측에 활용하면 유용한 결과를 얻을 가능성이 크다. 본 연구에서는 광역의 가뭄현상을 해석하는 데 있어서 위성영상을 활용하는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 따라서, 미국 NASA에서 제공하는 MODIS 자료의 식생지수(NDVI)자료를 이용하여 광역의 증발산량을 산정하는 방법을 개발하였다. 위성영상을 이용하여 산정된 증발산량 분포를 강우 분포자료 및 잠재증발산량 분포자료와 결합하여 기후학적 물수지를 산정하였으며, 이를 기반으로 대상지역의 가뭄을 효과적으로 분석할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 가뭄 해석에 있어서의 위성영상의 활용도를 높이는 데 기여를 할 것이다.

다종 위성영상을 활용한 재난대응 방안 연구 (Study on Disaster Response Strategies Using Multi-Sensors Satellite Imagery)

  • 최근 심각한 기후변화, 기상이상 현상 등으로 인해 자연재난의 발생빈도 및 규모가 증가하고 있다. 대형화 재난 발생 시 시간·경제적 제약으로 인해 인공위성, 드론 등 원격탐사 기반의 재난관리의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 재난 발생 시 활용가능한 국내·외 위성들과 최근 우주산업 활성화에 따라 운용 중 및 개발 중인 차세대중형위성, 초소형위성의 현황과 대량의 위성영상들의 활용 기술 동향에 대해 정리하였다. 분석 기술로는 딥러닝의 근간인 인공지능 기술을 접목한 연구들이 있으며, 사용자 중심의 분석 준비 데이터(analysis ready data)를 활용할 수 있는 주요 플랫폼을 소개하였다. 또한 최근 발생된 대형재난인 홍수, 산사태, 가뭄, 산불을 중심으로 위성영상을 활용하여 피해분석을 함으로써 재난관리에 어떻게 활용될 수 있는지에 대해 확인하였다. 마지막으로 개발될 위성을 고려하여 재난 관리 단계별 활용방안에 대해 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 위성개발 및 운영현황, 최신 위성영상 분석기술 동향과 다종 위성영상을 활용한 재난대응 방안에 대해 제시되었다. 재난 진행단계에서는 예방과 대비 보다는 대응과 복구에 대한 위성영상의 활용도가 높은 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 향후 다종의 영상이 수급되었을 때 효과적인 재난관리를 위해 인공지능, 딥러닝 등 최신기술 융합 방안과 적용 가능성에 대한 연구를 수행할 예정이다.

RapidEye영상과 선형분광혼합화소분석 기법을 이용한 낙동강 유역의 클로로필-a 농도 추정 (Estimating Chlorophyll-a Concentration using Spectral Mixture Analysis from RapidEye Imagery in Nak-dong River Basin)

  • This study aims to estimate chlorophyll-a concentration in rivers using multi-spectral RapidEye imagery and Spectral Mixture Analysis (SMA) and assess the applicability of SMA for multi-temporal imagery analysis. Comparison between images (acquired on Oct. and Nov., 2013) predicted and ground reference chlorophyll-a concentration showed significant performance statistically with determination coefficients of 0.49 and 0.51, respectively. Two band (Red-RE) model for the October and November 2013 RapidEye images showed low performance with coefficient of determinations ($R^2$) of 0.26 and 0.16, respectively. Also Three band (Red-RE-NIR) model showed different performance with $R^2$ of 0.016 and 0.304, respectively. SMA derived Chlorophyll-a concentrations showed relatively higher accuracy than band ratio models based values. SMA was the most appropriate method to calculate Chlorophyll-a concentration using images which were acquired on period of low Chlorophyll-a concentrations. The results of SMA for multi-temporal imagery showed low performance because of the spatio-temporal variation of each end members. This approach provides the potential of providing a cost effective method of monitoring river water quality and management using multi-spectral imagery. In addition, the calculated Chlorophyll-a concentrations using multi-spectral RapidEye imagery can be applied to water quality modeling, enhancing the predicting accuracy.

Automatic Extraction of Road Network using GDPA (Gradient Direction Profile Algorithm) for Transportation Geographic Analysis

  • Currently, high-resolution satellite imagery such as KOMPSAT and IKONOS has been tentatively utilized to various types of urban engineering problems such as transportation planning, site planning, and utility management. This approach aims at software development and followed applications of remotely sensed imagery to transportation geographic analysis. At first, GDPA (Gradient Direction Profile Algorithm) and main modules in it are overviewed, and newly implemented results under MS visual programming environment are presented with main user interface, input imagery processing, and internal processing steps. Using this software, road network are automatically generated. Furthermore, this road network is used to transportation geographic analysis such as gamma index and road pattern estimation. While, this result, being produced to do-facto format of ESRI-shapefile, is used to several types of road layers to urban/transportation planning problems. In this study, road network using KOMPSAT EOC imagery and IKONOS imagery are directly compared to multiple road layers with NGI digital map with geo-coordinates, as ground truth; furthermore, accuracy evaluation is also carried out through method of computation of commission and omission error at some target area. Conclusively, the results processed in this study is thought to be one of useful cases for further researches and local government application regarding transportation geographic analysis using remotely sensed data sets.
