디지털 영상이 여러 종류의 다양한 정보와 결합되어 사용되면서 효율적인 영상정보 활용을 위한 영상유통포맷 표준 개발에 대한 필요성이 요구된다. 영상유통포맷 표준의 목적은 영상과 관련 자료의 교환을 용이하게 하는 일반적인 포맷을 제공하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 현재까지 영상정보를 위해 요구되는 모든 종류의 영상을 포괄적으로 다룰 수 있으며, 군의 정보 분야에 필수적인 영상주기 및 메타정보를 체계적으로 관리할 수 있는 기반을 마련하고 있는 영상유통포맷 표준의 대표적인 사례인 미국의 NITF(National Imagery Transmission Format)을 중심으로 현재까지 개발된 대표적인 군과 민(民)의 영상유통포맷 표준들의 현황을 조사하여 각각의 표준들이 갖고 있는 규격과 기능을 분석함으로써 최적의 영상유통포맷이 가져야 할 조건을 정리하였다. 또한 영상 자료의 고해상도, 대용량화에 따라 필연적인 영상압축 기술과 관련한 현대의 영상포맷 발전 추세에 부응하여 영상유통포맷의 발전방향을 제시하였다.

In the satellite camera, the incoming light source is converted to electronic analog signals by the electronic component for example CCD (Charge Coupled Device) detectors. The analog signals are amplified, biased and converted into digital signals (pixel data stream) in the video processor (A/Ds). The outputs of the A/Ds are digitally multiplexed and driven out using differential line drivers (two pairs of wires) for cross strap requirement. The MSC (Multi-Spectral Camera) in the KOMPSAT-2 which is a LEO spacecraft will be used to generate observation imagery data in two main channels. The MSC is to obtain data for high-resolution images by converting incoming light from the earth into digital stream of pixel data. The video data outputs are then MUXd, converted to 8 bit bytes, serialized and transmitted to the NUC (Non-Uniformity Correction) module by the Hotlink data transmitter. In this paper, the video data streams, the video data format, and the image data processing routine for satellite camera are described in terms of satellite camera control hardware. The advanced satellite with very high resolution requires faster and more complex image data chain than this algorithm. So, the effective change of the used image data chain and the fast video data transmission method are discussed in this paper

Recently, the high performance of tactical situation display console and tactical data links are used to integrate the operational situations in accordance with information age and NCW (Network Centric Warfare). The tendency to maximize the efficiency of task execution has been developed by sharing information and the state of the battle quickly through complex and diverse information exchange. Tactical data link is a communication system that shares the platform with core components of weapons systems and battlefield situation between the command and control systems to perform a Network Centric Warfare and provides a wide range of tactical data required for decision-making and implementation.It provides the tactical information such as tactical information such as operational information, the identification of the peer, and the target location in real time or near real time in the battlefield situation, and it is operated for the exchange of mass tactical information between the intellectuals by providing common situation recognition and cooperation with joint operations. In this study, still image management, audio file management, tactical screen recording and playback using the storage and playback, NITF (National Imagery Transmission Format) message received from the displayer integrates the tactical situation in three dimensions according to multiple data link operation to suggest ways to ensure data integrity between the data link processor during the entire operation time.
