To reconstruct the 3-D information of a irregular object, this paper proposes a new method applying the composition focus measure to time-series image. A focus measure function is carefully selected because a focus measure is apt to be affected by the working environment and the characteristics of an object. The proposed focus measure function combines the variance measure which is robust to noise and the Laplacian measure which, regardless of an object shape, has a good performance in calculating the focus measure. And the time-series image, which considers the object shape, is proposed in order to efficiently applying the interesting window. This method, first, divides the image frame by the window. Second, the composition focus measure function be applied to the windows, and the time-series image is constructed. Finally, the 3-D information of an object is reconstructed from the time-series images considering the object shape. The experimental results have shown that the proposed method is suitable algorithm to 3-D reconstruction of an irregular object.

스마트폰의 전면 및 후면 카메라를 이용하여 동시에 획득한 전경 이미지와 배경 이미지에서, 전경 이미지의 일부분인 전경 물체를 추출하여 배경 이미지에 합성하는 방법을 제시한다. 최근의 고사양 스마트폰은 대개 두 개의 카메라를 가지고 있고, 사진을 촬영하는 과정에서 미리보기 화면을 제공한다. 전면 카메라로부터 전경 이미지를 획득하는 과정에서 미리보기 화면의 비디오에 대한 옵티컬 플로우를 이용하여 전경 물체를 추출한다. 추출된 전경 물체와 배경 화면을 단순히 합성한 후, 전경 물체와 배경화면의 경계에서 가중치 경계 블렌딩을 이용하여 시각적으로 부드러운 경계를 갖는 합성을 수행한다. 화소 수준의 조밀한 옵티컬 플로우의 계산은 고사양의 스마트폰에서도 상당히 느리기 때문에, 전경 물체 추출을 위한 마스크의 계산을 저해상도에서 수행하여 계산시간을 크게 절약할 수 있다. 실험적 결과에 의하면 제안하는 방법은 더 적은 계산 시간을 사용하며, 널리 사용되는 Poisson 이미지 합성 방법에 비하여 시각적으로 더 우수한 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 제안하는 방법은 Poisson 이미지 합성 방법에서 자주 관찰되는 색 번짐 결점을 가중치 경계 블렌딩을 이용하여 제한적인 수준에서 극복할 수 있다.

일인칭 관점의 훈련 시스템에서, 사용자는 실제적인 경험을 필요로 하는데, 이런 실제적인 경험을 제공하기 위하여 가상의 이미지 또는 실제의 이미지를 동시에 제공해야 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 자동적으로 사람의 팔을 분할하는 것과 이미지 합성 방법을 제안한다. 제안 방법은 팔 분할 부분과 이미지 합성 부분으로 구성된다. 팔 분할은 임의의 이미지들을 입력으로 받아서 팔을 분할하고 알파 매트(alpha matte)를 출력한다. 이는 종단 간 학습이 가능한데 이 부분에서 우리는 FCN(Fully Convolutional Network)을 활용했기 때문이다. 이미지 합성부분은 팔 분할의 결과와 길과 건물 같은 다른 이미지와의 이미지 조합을 만들어 낸다. 팔 분할 부분에서 네트워크를 훈련시키기 위하여, 훈련 데이터는 전체 비디오 중에서 팔의 이미지를 잘라내어 사용하였다.

본 논문에서는 낮은 대역폭을 가진 모바일 DMB 환경에서 사용할 수 있도록 깊이 영상 기반 렌더링(DIBR) 기법을 이용한 3차원 스테레오 입체 방송의 부가정보 영상 구성 방법을 설명한다. DIBR에서는 좌측 시점의 영상과 깊이 정보를 전송하고 수신측에서 우측 시점을 복원하는데, 화질이 손상될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 부가 정보를 구성해서 함께 전송하여 복원된 영상의 질을 높이고 전송하는 데이터의 양을 줄이는 방법을 제시한다.

본 연구에서는 S/W 기반 음악작곡법과 작곡된 음악을 기반으로 한 동영상 편집기술에 대해 기술하였다. 이번 컨텐츠의 결과물은 미디로 작곡된 음악에 동영상관련 S/W를 활용한 동영상을 조합한 것으로, 누구나가 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 컴퓨터음악 작곡과 영상편집에 대한 배양이 주제이자 목표이다.

This study investigated composition elements and estimation of image in lobby from user viewpoint that is the central space of local cultural institution, and spectator mainly utilizes. Progress process of study develops investigation device including literature investigation, professional panel and lobby space image measurement tool through on-the-spot probe and, executed supporting research to spectator. As the result of the study, first, lobby space image exerts absolute effect to local cultural institution image-building, and is grasped on constituent that floor, ceiling, entrance and lighting and decoration is important in image-building of lobby space. Second, the image of the important lobby space was grasped in order of convenient image(M = 3.98) bright image(M = 3.87), and cozy image(M = 3.80). Third, the results on investigating semantic structure of the lobby image, emotional factor, styling factor, spatial factor, and peculiar factor are composed of important factors that decides image of lobby space. Fourth, as the result of image analysis for lobby space, the degree of satisfaction for the local cultural institution was entirely low against the importance. In particular, the image for convenience, individuality, locality and dignity was not sufficient in all the three places. Therefore, lobby design of local cultural institution shall also suggest more various lobby space image from culture oriented viewpoint.

본 논문에서는 새로운 주요객체 자동추출 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 크게 2단계 과정으로 요약될 수 있다. 1단계로 객체와 배경을 분리하는 영상분할 작업을 수행한다. 우선적으로 '인간은 3또는 4개의 주요 색상으로 축약하여 사물을 인식한다'는 연구 결과에 따라 K-means 알고리즘을 이용하여 3구역으로 분할하고, 분할된 영상 간 히스토그램 유사도를 계산하여 임계값 이상으로 유사하면 병합하는 과정을 수행한다. 2단계로 영상구도에 근거해 분할된 영상 중에 객체라고 지정하는 작업을 수행한다. 사람이 사진을 잘 찍기 위해서는 '주요객체의 위치를 영상구도에 맞추어 촬영하는 것이 바람직하다는 사실'에 근거하여 삼각구도를 바탕으로 가중치 마스크를 설계하여 객체위치를 역 추정하였다. 제안된 방법의 우수성을 보이기 위해 약 400개의 영상에 대해 실험하였으며, 최근에 발표된 KMCC, GBIS방법과도 비교하였다.

In this paper, we propose a composition method of the template image whose detection performance does not have incorrect detection and improves also on the tough photography conditions of the outdoors, rainy weather and night. This research was done to measure a relative position between a spreader and a target container with image processing to realize full-automatic quayside gantry cranes. By the proposal method, we confirmed that the template image for object detection has a contour image more effective than a gray image.

This research focuses its study on the expressions of the visual images of the fashion illustration as a part of visual art and utilizes it to formulate the theoretical basis. Main findings of our research are as follows: The structure of communications in the fashion illustration is based on the four elements. They are the expression of the texture, drawings, composition, and the human body and dress. The characteristics in expression of texture level in fashion illustration can be the expression of creative texture in pattern or crease, and also can be expressed as various collage and photomontage by computer graphics. Secondly, the analysis on the characteristics of the drawings show that the drawing skills are imagination and sequential drawings. Thirdly, the characteristics of composition method are mainly shown as the application of plane composition which was previously used in avant-garde arts. Fourthly, most of the human body in the fashion illustrations are shown as the results of simplification, exaggeration and deformation in human body and also expressed or analyzed by the method of the body modification. Based on the above findings of this research we conclude that the way of expression in the fashion illustration is very similar in its composition as in visual art. However, they also show differences between the two in expression method or the method for the image development in specific expressions.
