This study investigates the differences of e-service quality depending on image interactivity technology and the influences of e-service quality on purchasing involvement and customer loyalty. Online shopping malls have made toward satisfying customers' shopping experience owing to the advance of technology. Above all, it is important to prove effectiveness of this technology to introduce it. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to test effectiveness of Image Interactivity Technology (IIT) which has been introduced by some shopping malls. For this study three shopping malls were designed as stimuli that have the different level of IIT. The women of 20-30 who have bought fashion products in online shopping malls participated in the quantitative research. Total 592 were used for the statistical analysis. Descriptive statistics, cross tabulation analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression were implemented. Four factors of e-service quality were extracted. The 3D avatar shopping mall was higher than the others in those factors. Besides, e-service quality factors influenced purchasing involvement and customer loyalty. Therefore, online shopping malls are advised to introduce IIT and improve e-service quality

This study investigates the relationship among interactivity, telepresence, flow, and future behavior intention in internet shopping. Respondents were female consumers age 20 to 30. These consumers are regarded to have experience in internet shopping. 500 samples were used in this research. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were used for this study. As the result, interactivity, telepresence, and flow affect future behavior intention. Flow is the most influential variable affecting the future behavior intention. It implies that hedonic shopping experience (aroused by flow) can increase the future behavior intention of consumers. Consumers can operate and change the product image with convenience by encouraging interactivity between the internet fashion shopping mall and consumers. Through the technology, the experience 'flow' of consumers can provide a sense of telepresence as if they were shopping in a real store. Consumers may feel unconscious of the passage of time and feel fun, free, and original. Therefore, the internet shopping mall should pay attention to what customers demand and reflect it through e-mail, real time chatting, and text messages. In addition, rich product information such as detailed images should be supplied to help customers visualize looks.
With the prolific growth of cable, satellite digital broadcasting and internet related industry, new digital contents are being demanded. Today, more end-users seek participations in the media through interactivity. Visual tracking technology, based on image processing, is mainly used in fields of human face tracking, security inspection, and traffic monitoring applications. In this research, we describe the interactive modules such as information display, e1-commerce and other services along with on-screen visuals on the streaming media using object visual tracking technology. The development of projection technology produces series of discussions associated to various form of visual immersing possibilities by the way of projecting image directly to the obscure surface surrounded us. Besides, the significance can be found in terms of that this kind of image projection offers chance to citizens to enjoy high standard images and makes people consider media environment of city. Video art as the digital technology grafts penetrates formative space of city by projecting images. The certain thing about questions how the media has status in city is that media is now not existing for self neither for abstractly and virtual reality is existing in the general appearance of metropolis. This paper treats media environment of city and the meaning of image projection as from of video art in the city. It accesses about the meaning of video form visual art in big city- new reality, the virtual and the real, immersion and interactivity. And media reality of metropolis defines that there is not one major discourse in the gigantic text -metropolis rather they are different discourses each other simultaneously compatible in the gigantic text -metropolis and in fact, they affect each other and interact.
In recent years, IPTV attracts great attention along with the digital convergence of communication and media technologies. IPTV combines the advantages of TV and Internet and changes our lifestyle dramatically. In addition, the IPTV service is capable of becoming a new business model which has huge growth potentials in technology-converging marketplaces. This study examines critical factors on the consumer's adoption of the IPTV service. Based on the Innovation Diffusion Theory (IDT), IPTV specific attributes and personal characteristics, we derive eight key factors in the research model. compatibility, ease of use, image, diversity of contents, interactivity, monetary value, social influence, and user satisfaction. Using the partial least square (PLS) method on the data collected through a web-based survey, we test our research model with several hypotheses. From this study, we find that diversity of contents, compatibility and interactivity have a significant indirect effect on the use of IPTV service via user satisfaction, and user satisfaction and social influence also have a significant direct impact on the IPTV use. These findings not only provide practical insights on the consumer acceptance of new technology-converging services, but also help managers to plan their marketing strategies better.
The application of Augmented Reality(AR) technology is visible in medical procedures, education, marketing, and journalism. By experimenting, this study examines how the evaluation of the three elements of augmented reality news contents(visual image, storytelling, interactivity) affects immersion and information acquisition. Specifically, a 2 (video technology: AR vs. general) × 2 (news type: disaster vs. sports) between-subject design was examined. Results showed that the evaluation of all three elements was higher when viewing AR news than when viewing general news. The level of immersion was higher when viewing AR news, and the evaluation of storytelling and interactivity had positive effect on the level of immersion regardless of the news types. However, the evaluation of visual images did not affect the level of immersion. Information acquisition was higher after viewing AR news, yet the effect of the evaluation of the three elements on information acquisition had not been found. Implication and discussion of the study were added in the end.

Recently, due to decrease hardware prices and the development of technology, analog signage has been changing to digital signage for providing content such as advertisements, videos. Furthermore, in order to provide advertisements and contents to users more effectively, technical researches are being conducted in various industries. In addition, including digital signage that uses displays, it can be seen that it provides advertisements and contents using diverse devices such as LED signage, smart pads, and smart phones. However, most digital signage is installed in one place to provide contents and provides interactivity through simple events such as manual content provision or touch. So, in this paper, we suggest a new object detection algorithm based on an adjacent frames based image correction algorithm for interactive building signage.
As Christine Daley suggested, "interaction-image" is considered to be typical in the age of "Cinema 3.0", which integrates the interactivity of game art and obscures the boundary between producers and customers. In this case, users are allowed to involve actively in the scene as "players" to manage the tempo of the story to some extent, it, thus, makes users pleased to watch interactive movies repeatedly for trying a diverse option to unlock more branch lines. Accordingly, this paper aims to analyze the contributory factors and effect mechanism of users' reuse intention for gamified interactive movies and offer specific concepts to improve the reuse intention from the interactive film production and operation perspectives. Upon integrating the Flow theory and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and separating the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations of key factors based on Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R), the research builds an empirical analysis model for users' reuse intention with cognition, design, attitude emotional experience and conducts an empirical analysis on 425 pieces of valid sample data applying SPSS22 and Amos23. The results show that user satisfaction and flow experience impact users' reuse intention highly and perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, remote perception, interactivity, and flow experience have significant positive influence on user satisfaction experience.
In this paper, we propose a system to walk around the world with virtual reality technology. Although the virtual reality users are interested in the virtual travel contents, the conventional virtual travel contents have limited space for experiencing and lack of interactivity. In order to solve the problem of lack of realism and limited space, which is a disadvantage of existing contents, this system created a virtual space using Google Street View image. Users can have realistic experience with real street images, and travel a vast area of the world provided by Google Street View image. Also, a virtual reality headset and a treadmill equipment are used so that the user can actually walk in the virtual space, which maxmizes user interactivity and immersion. We expect this system contributes to the leisure activities of virtual reality users by allowing natural walking trip from famous tourist spots to even mountain roads and alleys.
Traditionally, three dimension model s have been used for building virtual worlds, and a data structure called the "scene graph" is often employed to organize these 3D objects in the virtual space. On the other hand, image-based rendering has recently been suggested as a probable alternative VR platform for its photo-realism, however, due to limited interactivity. it has only been used for simple navigation systems. To combine the merits of these two approaches to object/scene representations, this paper proposes for a scene graph structure in which both 3D models and various image-based scenes/objects can be defined. traversed, and rendered together. In fact, as suggested by Shade et al. [1]. these different representations can be used as different LOD's for a given object. For in stance, an object might be rendered using a 3D model at close range, a billboard at an intermediate range. and as part of an environment map at far range. The ultimate objective of this mixed platform is to breath more interactivity into the image based rendered VE's by employing 3D models as well. There are several technical challenges in devising such a platform : designing scene graph nodes for various types of image based techniques, establishing criteria for LOD/representation selection. handling their transition s. implementing appropriate interaction schemes. and correctly rendering the overall scene. Currently, we have extended the scene graph structure of the Sense8's WorldToolKit. to accommodate new node types for environment maps. billboards, moving textures and sprites, "Tour-into-the-Picture" structure, and view interpolated objects. As for choosing the right LOD level, the usual viewing distance and image space criteria are used, however, the switching between the image and 3D model occurs at a distance from the user where the user starts to perceive the object's internal depth. Also. during interaction, regardless of the viewing distance. a 3D representation would be used, if it exists. Finally. we carried out experiments to verify the theoretical derivation of the switching rule and obtained positive results.
