사람 행동 인식에서 반복 감소를 위한 저수준 사람 행동 변화 감지 방법 (Detection of Low-Level Human Action Change for Reducing Repetitive Tasks in Human Action Recognition)

  • Most current human action recognition methods based on deep learning methods. It is required, however, a very high computational cost. In this paper, we propose an action change detection method to reduce repetitive human action recognition tasks. In reality, simple actions are often repeated and it is time consuming process to apply high cost action recognition methods on repeated actions. The proposed method decides whether action has changed. The action recognition is executed only when it has detected action change. The action change detection process is as follows. First, extract the number of non-zero pixel from motion history image and generate one-dimensional time-series data. Second, detecting action change by comparison of difference between current time trend and local extremum of time-series data and threshold. Experiments on the proposed method achieved 89% balanced accuracy on action change data and 61% reduced action recognition repetition.

Tsunami-induced Change Detection Using SAR Intensity and Texture Information Based on the Generalized Gaussian Mixture Model

  • The remote sensing technique using SAR data have many advantages when applied to the disaster site due to its wide coverage and all-weather acquisition availability. Although a single-pol (polarimetric) SAR image cannot represent the land surface better than a quad-pol SAR image can, single-pol SAR data are worth using for disaster-induced change detection. In this paper, an automatic change detection method based on a mixture of GGDs (generalized Gaussian distribution) is proposed, and usability of the textural features and intensity is evaluated by using the proposed method. Three ALOS/PALSAR images were used in the experiments, and the study site was Norita City, which was affected by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake. The experiment results showed that the proposed automatic change detection method is practical for disaster sites where the large areas change. The intensity information is useful for detecting disaster-induced changes with a 68.3% g-mean, but the texture information is not. The autocorrelation and correlation show the interesting implication that they tend not to extract agricultural areas in the change detection map. Therefore, the final tsunami-induced change map is produced by the combination of three maps: one is derived from the intensity information and used as an initial map, and the others are derived from the textural information and used as auxiliary data.

  • 다시기 항공사진을 이용하여 소도읍 지역의 도시화에 따른 변화탐지를 시도하였다. 동일대상지역을 포함하는 축척 1/20,000과 1/37,500의 1987년, 1996년 및 2000년의 팬크로매틱 사진영상에 대한 기하보정을 통하여 좌표계와 축척을 일치시킨 다음, 영상대차법을 적용하여 도시화에 따른 시계열적 피복변화를 탐지하고 분석함으로써 단일밴드 영상에 의한 변화 검출의 효과를 확인한다. 또한 영상대차법에 의한 변화탐지에 있어서 최적의 임계값을 제시하였다.

대도시 주변지역의 토지이용변화 - 대구광역시를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Change Detection of Multi-temporal Data - A Case Study on the Urban Fringe in Daegu Metropolitan City -)

  • The purpose of this article is to examine land use change in the fringe area of a metropolitan city through multi-temporal data analysis. Change detection has been regarded as one of the most important applications for utilization of remotely sensed imageries. Conventionally, two images were used for change detection, and Arithmetic calculators were generally used on the process. Meanwhile, multi-temporal change detection for a large number of images has been carried out. In this paper, a digital land-use map and three Landsat TM data were utilized for the multi-temporal change detection Each urban area map was extracted as a base map on the process of multi-temporal change detection. Each urban area map was converted to bit image by using boolean logic. Various urban change types could be obtained by stacking the urban area maps derived from the multi-temporal data using Geographic Information System(GIS). Urban change type map was created by using the process of piling up the bit images. Then the urban change type map was compared with each land cover map for the change detection. Dalseo-gu of Daegu city and Hwawon-eup of Dalsung-gun, the fringe area of Daegu Metropolitan city, were selected for the test area of this multi-temporal change detection method. The districts are adjacent to each other. Dalseo-gu has been developed for 30 yeais and so a large area of paddy land has been changed into a built-up area. Hwawon-eup, near by Dalseo-gu, has been influenced by the urbanization of Dalseo-gu. From 1972 to 1999, 3,507.9ha of agricultural area has been changed into other land uses, while 72.7ha of forest area has been altered. This agricultural area was designated as a 'Semi-agricultural area'by the National landuse Management Law. And it was easy for the preserved area to be changed into a built-up area once it would be included as urban area. Finally, the method of treatment and management of the preserved area needs to be changed to prevent the destruction of paddy land by urban sprawl on the urban fringe.

IKONOS 위성영상을 이용한 변화 탐지 (Change Detection Using the IKONOS Satellite Images)

  • 지형도 제작, 환경, 산림, 시설물 탐지 등의 분야에서 위성영상이나 항공사진을 이용하여 변화탐지가 수행되어 왔다. Landsat이나NOAA 위성의 저해상 영상은 자동 변화탐지에 사용되어 왔으며, 항공사진과 같은 고해상 영상은 판독에 의한 변화탐지에 사용되었다. 고해상 위성영상을 이용하여 이러한 자동 변화탐지와 수동 변화탐지를 통합하려는 시도가 있지만, 그림자, 중심 투영 영상으로 인한 건물의 왜곡, 정밀한 기하보정 등의 문제점이 발견되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IKONOS 위성영상을 이용하여 변화 탐지를 수행하고, 이에 따른 문제점을 살펴보도록 하겠다.

  • The improved accuracy of the Land Cover/Land Use Map constructed using Hyperspectal Satellite Image and the possibility of real time classification of Land Use using optimal Band Selective Factor enable the change detection from automatic classification using the existed Land Cover/Land Use Map and the newly acquired Hyperspectral Satellite Image. In this study, the effective analysis techniques for automatic generation of training regions, automatic classification and automatic change detection are proposed to minimize the expert's interpretation for automatic update of the Land Cover/Land Use Map. The proposed algorithms performed successfully the automatic Land Cover/Land Use Map construction, automatic change detection and automatic update on the image which contained the changed region. It would increase applicability in actual services. Also, it would be expected to present the effective methods of constructing national land monitoring system.

  • This research will examine into the capabilities of KOMPSAI-1 EOC image application in the field of urban environment and at the same time, with that as its foundation, come to understand the urban changes of the study areas. This research is constructed in three stages: Firstly, for application of change detection techniques, which utilizes multi-temporal remotely sensed data, the data normalization process is carried out. Secondly, change detection method is applied fur the systematic monitoring of land use changes, which utilizes multi-temporal EOC images. Lastly, by using the results of the application of land use changes, the existing land use map is updated. Consequently, the land-use change patterns are monitored, which utilize multi-temporal panchromatic EOC image data; and application potentials of ancillary data fur updating existing data can be presented. In this research, with the use of the land use change, monitoring of urban growth has been carried out, and the potential for the application of KOMPSAT-1 EOC images and the scope of application was examined. Henceforth, the future expansion of the scope of application of KOMPSAT-1 EOC image is anticipated.

  • 다시기, 다축척의 팬크로매틱 항공사진을 통하여 소도시지역의 변화탐지를 시도하였다. 1987년과 1996년에 각각 촬영된 축척 1:20,000 사진과 2000년에 촬영된 1:37,500의 사진에 대하여 기하보정과 대조처리, 그리고 영상재배열을 통하여 좌표계 일치, 밝기값 조정, 공간해상도 일치 등 영상들 간에 동일한 조건을 갖도록 해 주는 사전작업을 행하였다. 다른 시기의 항공사진들 간에 영상대차법과 영상대비법을 각각 적용하여 변화지역을 탐지하였다. 단일밴드의 팬크로매틱 항공사진으로부터 지형 및 인공지물의 변화를 추출할 수 있었으며, 두 기법으로 각각 변화탐지한 결과를 비교하여 제시하였다.

Requirement Analysis and Optimal Design of an Operational Change Detection Software

  • This paper describes what an operational change detection tool requires and the software which was designed and developed according to the requirements. The top requirement for the application of the software to operational change detection was identified: minimization of false detections, missing detections and operational cost. In order to meet such a requirement, the software was designed with the concept that the ultimate decision and isolation of changes must be performed manually by visual interpretation and all automatic algorithms and/or visualization techniques must be defined as support functions. In addition, the modular structure of the proposed software enables the addition of a new support function with the minimum development cost and minimum change of the operational environment.

  • Change detection is one of the common research topics in remote sensing. In general, global change detection methods using image difference method, etc, are used in low resolution images and local change detection methods using floating windows, etc, are used in high resolution images. But, these methods have disadvantages in practical use. If changed area images are automatically produced, these images will be used in public area such as regional planning, regional development managements. In this research, we developed new change detection method applicable KOMPSAT EOC images. This method automatically produces subset images in changed area.
