  • In order to protect properties and human lives from disasters such as heavy rainfall, rational Probability Maximum Flood(PMF) estimation procedures for existing dam basins are recently required. This study analyzes the Probable Maximum Flood(PMF) as a part of a counterplan for disaster preventions of hydraulic structures such as dams, according to recent unfavorable weather conditions. In this study, an improvement method of parameter estimation was proposed, being estimated as an appropriate method for application to the unit hydrograph, the time of concentration and storage constant corresponding to the discharge of flood were considered differently when estimating PMF in Hoengseong dam basin.

  • This paper presents property of the squeeze mode type mount using Magneto-Rheological fluid(MR fluid). The mount can isolate multi-directional vibrations, and also effectively reduce the vibrations in a wide range of disturbance frequencies by controlling the applied magnetic field. The shape of the mount is the same that of squeeze film damper. In the present work, the performance of this mount was experimentally investigated according to changing the magnetic field strength.

  • This paper analyzed the JPEG compression performance of MTSAT-1R(Multi-functional Transport Satellite - 1 Replacement), which is offering the LRIT/HRIT(Low Rate Information Transmissio / High Rate Information Transmission) service now, in order to design the system regarding LRIT/HRIT of COMS(Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite). To do so, we analysed Lossy and Lossless JPEG compression performance regarding the MTSAT-1R LRIT/HRIT data for 10 days, and made comparison to the image characteristics, and understood the JPEG compression characteristics regarding JPEG compression of geostationary meteorological satellite. This result of compression performance analysis is expected to be a reference not only to the system design and realization of COMS LRIT/HRIT but also to those who develop other meteorological satellite receiving systems.

  • Itraconazole is an important drug for oral treatment of histoplasmosis and blastomycosis. ltraconazole has been the targets of many synthetic efforts due to their diverse antifungal activities. ln this study, an efficient synthetic route for Itraconazole intermediates has been developed using new procedures. Also, ltraconazole analogues introducing 2- and 3-methoxy group instead of ltraconazole intermediates with 4-methoxy group were synthesized.

  • We investigated the effect of diameter and content of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on the physical properties of styrenebutadiene rubber (SBR)/CNTs nanocomposites. CNTs-reinforced SBR nanocomposites were prepared by the melt mixing process. CNTs with different diameters were synthesized by the chemical vapor deposition method (CVD). In this work, the mechanical property and other physical properties of SBR/CNTS nanocomposites were discussed as a function of the content and diameter of CNTs.

  • TSC는 전력계통의 무효전력 보상을 위한 SVC 시스템의 주요 장치이다. 본 논문에서는 TSC의 커패시터 뱅크의 열화 및 고장진단에 활용할 수 있는 커패시터 용량 측정 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 커패시터 용량 측정 기법은 시간영역 해석 기법으로서 커패시터의 전압 및 전류 신호에 포함된 고조파 및 잡음, 주파수 변동, 과도 상태 전이 등의 왜란에 강인하다.

  • 디지털 AVR은 동기발전기의 출력전압을 부하변동에 관계 없이 일정하게 제어하며 발전기 및 시스템 보호를 위한 각종 제어 알고리즘을 포함하고 있다. 종래의 아날로그 타입 AVR은 제어 설정이 불편하고 제어 신뢰성이 떨어지기 때문에 점차 디지털 타입으로 교체되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 타입의 AVR에 익숙하지 않거나 심화 학습이 필요한 정비 기술자의 교육에 활용할 수 있도록 디지털 AVR 시뮬레이터를 개발하였으며 제어기와 HMI 간의 UDP 통신을 위해 프로토콜 하드웨어 컨버터, HMI, 및 EWS를 개발하였다. 추가로 스마트 단말기에서도 운전 상황을 확인할 수 있는 OIS 앱을 개발하였다.

  • This paper introduces the design of a reduced order observer with unknown inputs for the purpose of fault detection and isolation(FDI) in a class of bilinear systems. To Analyze the observer and FDI, this paper uses BPF(block-pulse functions). The operational properties of BPF are much applied to the analysis of bilinear systems. The integral operational matrix BPF converts the form of the differential equation into the algebraic problems.
