The growth of Internet technologies and the widespread use of mobile devices have been paving the way for the increasing use of conferencing services. Two types of systems have been designed to provide conferencing services: 1) a conferencing system using session control over a peer-to-peer (P2P) network and 2) an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) conferencing system. The IMS conferencing system was developed to adapt to a server-based centralized system, whereas the benefits of the P2P operational model in providing such conference services are widely acknowledged. However, each system provides conferencing services only to its own users. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an interworking model to support multimedia conferencing service between the P2P environment and IMS networks. We also introduce protocol architecture and some service scenarios. To verify this system model and the design architecture, we perform an actual implementation and show experienced test results.

This research is to 1) examine the perception of an exhibition organizer in holding an exhibition and its time, and 2) find out participants' satisfaction in the exhibition services according to time and purposes of visiting. The questionnaire was distributed to employees who work for exhibition companies, and exhibition visitors that have participated in any kind of international exhibitions which were held in COEX from 27, March to 2, May, 2003. The results of this study are as follows; First convenience facilities nearby, promotion, parking facilities strongly affected participants' overall satisfaction. Secondly, the purposes and time of visiting showed significant factors on the participants' satisfaction in the exhibition services. In turn, buying merchandise and obtaining useful information significantly affected convenience facilities nearby. Also, simple visiting purposes affected the cost of staying and service related to tourism. Finally, the number of workers, time and occupation of exhibitions are showed as important factors for the perception of an exhibition provider in the exhibition services.

Measuring technology based on the computer and software is used worldwideiy by the aids of remarkably improved digital technology and measuring devices, and the electro- magnetic interference due to high currents and high voltages is being solved by the helps of applied optic instrumentation technology. The automatic acquisition, analysis and storage system of test data is available for utilizing the numerical computation technology. The measuring accuracy and testing efficiency are thus much higher because of the developed technologies. In this paper, the construction of data acquisition system in KERI including measuring devices and its application to the short circuit test are described, and additionally the algorithm of the analyzing program for the automatic process of test data and the results of analyses are described.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is aimed to examine the Free Trade Agreement and its General Agreement on Trade in Services, especially, the healthcare service and the prospect of the system. Methods: This study was based on fourteen literature reviews from 2001 to 2014. Results: Free Trade Agreement and the General Agreement on Trade in Services were examined and Japan, China, and the United States's examples were shown. Healthcare market opening issues are the tendency of this era with the concept of globalization. Conclusion: This study highlights the tendency of healthcare market opening with all the pros and cons. The healthcare system along with the medical and nursing fields need to modify their system based on the globalization.

A u-city is a vision of a city with computers and sensors built in to its infrastructure, and data sharing among the various information systems. A u-City provides several u-City services to the u-City clients. The u-City services for local governments contain two types of functions: common function and specified function. It is needed a study on generation of specified service models of local governments. The proposed service model divides functions of the city into two service areas: common support service and specified support service. And we suggest the way to generate the u-services of each local government in this paper.

The next generation mobile multimedia network is expected to provide higher-rate multimedia communication services to versatile mobile terminals moving in even higher speed. For achieving more efficient reusability of scarce radio resources and thereby accommodating more user population in this network, the smaller cell such as micro or pico cell structure is used. More efficient and faster hand-over schemes are necessary to prevent the degradation of QoS of multimedia services caused by hand-over processing delay and packet loss during frequent hand-over. This paper proposes a faster and more effective hand-over scheme for high-rate multimedia services in the future mobile multimedia networks. by utilizing the GPS information on the position of the mobile terminal and its estimated moving directions. The simulation results show that our proposed method provides a better performance than the conventional method.

Power telecommunication networks, being used to support the operation and management of power utility services, exhibits different characteristics from those of public domain networks. KEPCO is planning to evolve its own power network infrastructure to exploit ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) technology. The ATM network to be developed needs to effectively utilize existing network of KEPCO and to fully support new and emerging power-utility-services. This paper summarizes the features of power communication services and the characteristics of Power telecommunication networks, and reports our evolution methodology for KEPCO network.

The existing building control and automation systems which have been applied to buildings are provided by many different vendors and each vendor has its own proprietary protocol. There are many problems in system integration since those building control and automation systems belong to each vendor. Also, the problems of cost and space increase, due to the usage of personal computers as the control servers of DDC(Direct Digital Control) in each facility. Those problems mentioned above can be effectively resolved by using XML Web Services and Embedded Web Server. Embedded Web Server and XML Web Services are technologies emerging out of the IT industries and there are many researches to apply them into many fields. In this paper, Embedded Web Server and XML Web Services are proposed to be used in building control and automation system to resolve problems in building system integration.

Cloud computing has proven its efficiency, especially after the increasing number of cloud services offered by a wide range of cloud providers, from different domains. Despite, these cloud services are mostly heterogeneous. Consequently, and due to the rising interest of cloud consumers to adhere to a multi-cloud environment instead of being locked-in to one cloud provider, the need for semantically interconnecting different cloud services from different cloud providers is a crucial and important task to ensure. In addition, considerable research efforts proposed interoperability solutions leading to different representation models of cloud services. In this work, we present our solution to overcome this limitation, precisely in the IAAS service model. This solution is a framework permitting the semantic interoperability of different IAAS resources in a multi-cloud environment, in order to assist cloud consumers to retrieve the cloud resource that meets specific requirements.

When SOAP message in Web Services has sensitive and important data, it is necessary to protect the message from XML rewriting attacks. These attacks create a foundation for typical faults in SOAP message and make it vulnerable to use in Web Service environment. Currently, Web Services middleware offers limited functions to detect these faults and possibly fix them. In this paper, we propose a Security Description Assistance which identifies and fixes typical faults in SOAP messages. Our system adapts simulation-based approach, which allows system to self-optimize its performance in different conditions and thus improve the reliability of Web Services.
