In this paper we propose a Differentiated Services Based Admission Control and Routing Algorithm for IPv6 (ACMRA). The basic DiffServ architecture lacks an admission control mechanism, the injection of more QoS sensitive traffic into the network can cause congestion at the core of the network. Our Differentiated Services Based Admission Control and Routing Algorithm for IPv6 combines the admission control phase with the route finding phase, and our routing protocol has been designed in a way to work alongside DiffServ based networks. The Differentiated Services Based Admission Control and Routing Algorithm for IPv6 constructs label switched paths in order to provide rigorous QoS provisioning. We have conducted extensive simulations to validate the effectiveness and efficiency of our proposed admission control and routing algorithm. Simulation Results show that the Differentiated Services Based Admission Control and Routing Algorithm for IPv6 provides an excellent packet delivery ratio, reduces the control packets' overhead, and makes use of the resources present on multiple paths to the destination network, while almost each admitted flow shows compliance with its Service Level Agreement.

As Internet usage widely grows, online content services such as newspaper, magazine, music, game and movie are provided with a fee-based subscription. Many content services providers consider charging a usage fee into its service provisions as one of the Internet business models for increasing revenue. There are customer resistances to adopting the fee-based service provision on the Web. Previous research in information systems (IS)has focused on the analysis of adoption of information technology or systems in the individual ororganization level. No principle research has been carried out on the user adoption behavior of online content services provisions. As users actively access content services on the Web, it needs to explore user adoption behavior in different settings. Many IS researcher have employedquantitative approaches, even though they deal with the process of user behavior regarding the information technology or system. In this study, we attempt to discover how customers adopt the fee-based provision of online content services by employing grounded theory, one of the principal qualitative research methods.

The key issue in providing fast and reliable access on cloud services is the effective management of resources in a cloud system. However, the high variation in cloud service access rates affects the system performance considerably when there are no default routines to handle this type of occurrence. Adaptive techniques are used in resource management to support robust systems and maintain well-balanced loads within the servers. This paper presents an adaptive resource management for cloud systems which supports the integration of intelligent methods to promote quality of service (QoS) in provisioning of cloud services. A technique of dynamically assigning cloud services to a group of cloud servers is proposed for the adaptive resource management. Initially, cloud services are collected based on the excess cloud services load and then these are deployed to the assigned cloud servers. The assignment function uses the proposed proportional ordering which efficiently assigns cloud services based on its resource consumption. The difference in resource consumption rate in all nodes is analyzed periodically which decides the execution of service assignment. Performance evaluation showed that the proposed dynamic service assignment (DSA) performed best in throughput performance compared to other resource allocation algorithms.

Competitive and reliable maritime transport services benefit the economy as a whole, and are key efficiency factors for the production of both goods and services. Although maritime transport sector is very liberalized compared to many other service sectors, certain obstacles must be overcome before full liberalization of the maritime transport can be realized. Particularly, maritime transport services in Northeast Asia are regulated by a complicated and outdated system. To remove these barkers two approaches can be used: a regional trading arrangement approach and a multilateral approach via WTO. However, multilateral efforts are not likely to be successful in achieving any concrete progress towards maritime transport liberalization in the short- to medium-term in Northeast Asia. Consequently, it may be the best to take the following two progressive approaches and to make them work towards liberalization of the maritime transport market: a bilateral approach and a trilateral approach. A gradual process of liberalization would expand the market, help operators achieve economies of scale, promote the international division of labor and specialization, enhance the effective management of shipping services, and promote the long-term interests and welfare of the user by improving service quality and diversifying services. A liberalized and integrated maritime transport market in Northeast Asia should achieve both of these long-run policy objectives by benefiting both the transport service users and the transport service providers. In order to move the maritime transport liberalization programs as quickly as possible, it is desirable to establish a "Regional Maritime Transport Liberalization Committee." We suggest it to be a Tripartite (China, Japan and Korea) Committee initially, which can later expand its membership to include other Northeast Asian countries.

The importance of fire safety services has increased expanding its services into prevention of danger and the reinforcement of safety services. The purpose of this study is to suggest a way for effective safety service by surveying fire fighters and residents of Gyeonggi Province and examining theories of safety services and actual status of 119 safety units. This study suggests the use of social capital by local community, establishment of cooperation between organizations, supports by citizens, cooperative activities by organizations, difference between emergency report and non emergency report and social safety net role of safety fire services.

The IT convergence industry is expected to create some high added-value, yet the IT convergence service is still in its introductory stage, which requires the utilization of yet to be tried future technologies and development methodologies that have been never tried in the past; therefore, there is certain risk involved regarding the success of development during the introduction of service and the development of technology. From such perspective, this study found examples of the services in the IT convergence industries and the application technologies for the realization of those services; and conducted a research based on the examples, using the technical Characteristics classification; and based on the result, analyzed the standards and the peculiarity of technologies employed for the IT convergence service and the correlation and the complementarity between them; also identified the standards and the peculiarity of technologies required by the IT convergence services and analyzed the correlation between them; and finally analyzed the compatibility between the IT convergence services and the applied technologies. The conclusion of this study is expected to be utilized for selecting technologies for the introduction and the operation of the optimal IT convergence service and as a benchmark as well.

Purpose: This study tries to comprehend older adults' perspectives of community supports and health services in a South Korean city and identify important sociodemographic and health characteristics that affect their perspectives. Methods: 166 older adults were involved in this cross-sectional study. Questions on background characteristics and community supports and health services criteria (categorized as service accessibility, offer of services, voluntary support, or emergency care planning) based upon the WHO's Age-Friendly Cities Guide were used. The data were analyzed using paired and independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and hierarchical multiple regression analyses. Results: emergency care planning was rated as the most important by the participants (mean age=76.24 years, 22.9% male), while its current level of performance was lowly appraised (p<.001). The rated importance for each category differed based on individual characteristics. Depression (p=.016), older age (p=.012), and restricted network type (p=.039) were significantly related to ascribing a higher degree of importance to community services. Conclusion: Community initiatives are warranted to optimize emergency care for older adults. This planning must be based on the unique characteristics of older adults in coordination with supportive resources. In addition, comprehensive assessments are warranted before implementing action plans to ensure that the multi-dimensional problems of older adults are incorporated.

This study aims to investigate and analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the adopt electronic services in education sector in Jordan, where the COVID-19 pandemic has left huge threats in terms of health and led to a significant decrease in economic output and a rise in unemployment. This study also aims to know the steps taken by the Jordanian governments and higher education ministry and universities to overcome this crisis and mitigate the economic and financial impacts that would enhance the resilience of the education sector. To achieve the goal of the study, both methods of deductive and inductive analysis were used, which helped us to systematically consider the economic and other consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, such as statistical analyses and other tools that helped us in this study. The results of this study, showed that the COVID-19 pandemic led to a significant increase in adopt electronic services in education sector in Jordan, and decline in economic growth, a significant rise in unemployment, an increase in market instability, and a decrease in the financial position of companies. The recommendations concluded that Jordan should begin to change its policies according to the new data, and take Measures to advance the education sector by relay on electronic services and directing investment in education sector through saving policies and infrastructure equipment in parallel with the population boom in Jordan.

Reforming social relations requires changing the system of relations between state executive bodies, institutions subordinate to them and a citizen, which is characteristic for most of the country, in which the latter is a petitioner even if his indisputable rights and legitimate interests are satisfied. One of the most important areas of public administration reform is the formation and development of a system of administrative services and appropriate information support. The result of the implementation of this direction should be the creation of such a legal framework and its real implementation in administrative and legal practice, in which consumers of administrative services will have broad rights and powers and will not be passive subjects manipulated by civil servants.Thus, the main task of the study is to analyze the normative legal aspects of information support for the provision of administrative services in the field of public administration. This study aims to provide strategic recommendations for promoting the development of the global satellite data services industry by analyzing the startup landscape. Based on the analysis of startup data, such as number of startups, market segment, and funding amount, we examined the paradigm shift in the global satellite data services market, particularly its convergence with other market segments. To this end, we derived the cumulative funding-convergence dynamics matrix, which classifies the converging areas into four quadrants by considering the growth rate of converging segments and the cumulative funding amount. In this way, we can specify converging areas in the satellite data services market that bear potential importance for the creation of new markets. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the advancement of the satellite data services industry and facilitate the exploration of new market opportunities. Furthermore, they can serve as a valuable reference for policy makers, industry stakeholders, government officials, and researchers involved in the satellite data services industry in capitalizing on the emerging space economy.
