효과적인 금융정보화를 위한 IT거버넌스 (IT Governance for the Effective Financial Services Informatization)

  • 본 논문은 국가 주도의 정보화 사업 중 하나인 금융정보화에 대한 IT 거버넌스의 조직 구조를 연구 대상으로 하고 있다. 금융정보화는 국내 전자금융의 발전은 물론 우리의 일상생황에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 다중 사례 연구를 통한 정략적인 데이터 분석을 통해 본 연구는 금융정보화의 효과적인 IT 거버넌스에 장애가 되고 있는 요인들을 파악한다. 그리고 금융정보화에 IT 거버넌스를 효과적으로 도입하기 위한 참여자들의 범위와 역할을 찾는다. 금융정보화에 대한 성공적인 IT 거버넌스를 위해서는 관련된 감독당국 및 이에 직접적으로 영향을 받는 제2금융권의 참여와 책임 부여가 중요한 것으로 연구결과 나타났다.

  • Services, despite the difficulty of its exact definition, can be defined as deeds, efforts, or performances by economical bodies, attributing to four unique characteristics - intangibility, inseparability, heterogeneity, and perishability. This study aims to research the global competition and problems of the local professional services, especially educational services and health services, and to suggest some devices for increasing the exportation of both educational services and health services. Educational services and health services were reserved in the multilateral negotiation to open the WTO parties' markets because of its national public benefits. But it is indispensable to open our local market by the bilateral FTA negotiation. Legal restrictions, therefore, related to both education and health should be erased according to the basic rule of the market competition, and it is advisable to control the national public benefit of these services by enacting the different legal systems. For recovering from minus balance of payment in the educational services or health services, furthermore, it is necessary to drive rather some offensive exporting policies than the defensive policy against supply from the foreign countries. In conclusion, the korean Foreign Trade Act and other relative acts should be revised, and both educational services and health services should be contained within the definition of "the international trade" for the governmental benefits of supporting the services exportation.

EA 온톨로지 기반 비즈니스 서비스 자동 식별방안 (Automatic Identification of Business Services Using EA Ontology)

  • Service identification and composition is one of the key characteristics for a successful Service-Oriented Computing, being receiving a lot of attention from researchers in recent years. In the Service-Oriented Analysis, the identification of business services has to be preceded before application services are identified. Most approaches addressing the derivation of business services are based on heuristic methods and human experts. The manual identification of business services is highly expensive and ambiguous task, and it may result in the service design with bad quality because of errors and misconception. Although a few of approaches of automatic service identification are proposed, most of them are in focus on technical architectures and application services. In this paper, we propose a model on the automatic identification of business services by horizontal and vertical service alignment using Enterprise Architecture as an ontology. We verify the effectiveness of the proposed model of business services identification through a case study based on Department of Defense Enterprise Architecture.

웹서비스를 이용한 서비스 기반 디바이스 연동 기술 (The Technology of Device-to-Device Integration using Web Services)

  • The beginning of Web Services was understood as efficient technology for application integration in the internet, thus it was used to integrating the distributed enterprise applications or the e-business applications between partners. But, recently the usage trend of Web Services is largely spreaded out wireless network applications beyond the internet applications. The main reasons are that Web Services is the international standard of W3C, and Web Services is based on XML that is independent of the specific internal implementations such as platform, programming languages, communications networks etc. Currently Major company of Web Services such as MS, IBM, etc. focus on the research about technology for integrating various devices. In this paper, we define and explain technical issues for adapting web services to ubiquitous Environment.

u-주거공간의 u-서비스 추출 방법론 및 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the u-Residential Space Service : Focusing on u-Service Extraction and Application)

  • The u-City construction plan being executed presently involves such problem that services are provided in a suppliers-oriented direction while there are not much discussions on what u-Services citizens should be provided with and what u-Services that city government the supplier shall provide. In order to implement citizen-friendly u-Services the type of u-Services that offer just the right services efficient and convenient for citizens, u-Services should be provided based on active researches on the citizens' use and utilization of u-Services rather than u-Services being provided in suppliers' perspective as so far. To that end, there need be recognition and well-organized methodology that u-Services should be provided through humane, social and scientific analysis of the citizens that are to be provided with u-Services. Thus, in this study, the process of u-Services being transmitted was re-interpreted as background theory to deduce and apply services appropriate for u-Residential Space, and service science for u-Services the scientific and overall approach to seek for service innovation was applied to the development of u-Service deduction method based on such background theory. The u-Service methodology developed based on service science is judged able to deduce and provide u-Services appropriate for the intended services through scientific analysis of citizen-friendly u-Services.

OECD 국가의 서비스산업 경쟁력 결정요인 분석 (Analysis on the Determinants of International Competitiveness in OECD Service Industries)

  • Our study aims to investigate the determinants of international competitiveness and international specialization in services, using OECD service trade data. Real exchange rates, world demand, economies of scale, diffusion of IT, human capital, R&D expenditure and institutional variables are introduced as explanatory variables in regressions for 29 OECO countries over $1996{\sim}2003$. Some of major findings from the study can be summarized as follows. First, economies of scale play important role in transport and business services. Second, the index of freedom to trade measured by Faster Institute has a positive and significant impact on international competitiveness in telecommunication, finance and insurance and business services. Third, IT provides favorable condition to build international competitiveness in finance and insurance and business services. Fourth, R&D expenditure contributes to the amelioration of international competitiveness in transport services, while investment in new equipments contributes to increasing the competitiveness in telecommunication services. Thus, our results show the importance of the industrial base for developing a competitive service economy.

자바환경에서 효과적인 안드로이드 서비스의 외부협업을 위한 원격서비스호출프레임워크 (A Framework for Remote Service Invocation of Android Services to Communicate with External Services in Java Environment)

  • Recently, smart phones have been widely used in the world. Android phones especially provide existing mobile phone features as well as capability of running enterprise applications and web applications by using services. However, such a linkage has limitations to use Android phones as client devices, there is difficulties in providing services by utilizing characteristics of Android. To solve this problem, we need to invoke services by each other. Currently, the Android platform currently supports inter-process communication IPC. However, there is a limitation that Android services just can invoke remote calls. In this paper, we propose a framework to invoke Android services in java environments. For doing this, we propose methods to make services public and to invoke services in using remote calls and communication methods between java environments and Android.

ANP 모형을 이용한 ITIL v3 핵심 프로세스 도출 연구 (A Study to Establish the Core Process of ITIL v3 Using ANP)

  • IT services are provided by many public institutions and companies in order to satisfy various needs of customers. As the modern IT systems become larger and more complex, it becomes more difficult for IT organizations to provide IT services. So, the IT organizations have applied or are planning to apply ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) in order to provide IT services systematically. The ITIL v3 was revised on July 2011 and have 5 categories, 37 processes, and 113 sub-processes. Therefore, it is known that it is very difficult to satisfy all processes of ITIL v3. If we can concentrate on the core processes of ITIL v3, we will be able to provide IT services more efficiently. The processes of ITIL v3 are defined as some processes influences other processes. Therefore, the core processes can be established using related techniques. We searched for previous research and related information, but we could not find any related research. In this study, we had applied the ANP (Analytic Network Process) techniques to find the core processes of ITIL v3. We expect that IT services will be provided more efficiently because we can be concentrate on the core processes of ITIL v3, which are the results of this study.

온라인 증권 거래 서비스를 위한 기업 투자와 성과에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Investment and Return of Online Trading Services)

  • Maintaining online services of high quality has become a crucial factor for brokerages to gain competitive advantages. Because of the attributes of the product uniformity of online trading, online brokerages have grown significantly with IT development, since the early 2000s. Now, as the online trading business gets mature, the profitability of the IT investment and the quality of IT-based services became questioned. This study examines the issues of IT investment and its contribution by analyzing the relationship between the quality of online service and IT investment. In addition, it also investigates the relationship of the quality of online services and profitability of brokerage. Our results show that IT investment draws cubic-style, curvilinear relationship with the service quality of online trading and only high quality services can lead to the increase of profitability.

가상커뮤니티 활동성이 P2P서비스 이용도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Activities in Virtual Communities on Usage of P2P Services)

  • As most of firms related with P2P services change their free services into fee-charging services, the problems of intellectual property rights are solved to satisfactory extent. Accordingly, P2P systems become more popular with the general public. In this respect, it is thought to be very important to research on the critical factors affecting usage of P2P systems. Although it is strongly expected that the characteristics of users activities in virtual communities affect the intention to re-use P2P systems, relatively few attention have been paid to this question. Therefore, this paper is to present empirical evidence to explain how the characteristics of users activities in virtual communities affect re-use intention of P2P services. The theoretical contribution of this study is that the characteristics of users activities in virtual communities is theoretically derived from the comprehensive literature review and the logical reasoning, and that the research model of the relationship between the users activities' characteristics in virtual community and the re-use intention of P2P services is proposed and empirically validated, which is expected to expand explaining power of the TAM(Technological Acceptance Model). Also, the practical implication is to provide the guideline to support the successful strategic planning for development and.operation of P2P services through the virtual communities.
