Cancer is considered one of the deadly diseases in the world. According to WHO cancer now causes more deaths than all coronary heart disease. The incidence and mortality of the worldwide major cancers are now available in the GLOBOCAN series of the International Agency for Research on Cancer. The transition of global demographic and epidemiologic shows that burden of cancer will increase particularly in low and middle income countries, with over 20 million new cancer cases expected annually as early as 2025. Medicinal plants made known to be prospective and useful job for the treatment of several diseases and disorders from prehistoric days to nowadays. One of the commonly used plants, which have supporting evidences from the recent scientific data for the different types of cancers, is Carica papaya. Papaya (Carica papaya) is widely used as folk caloric herbal medicine, being a powerhouse of nutrients and accessible throughout the year. It is a rich source of three powerful antioxidants, the minerals, vitamins and contains high content of fibre. Carica papaya has provided many remedies for various diseases from ancient days to nowadays, and is regarded as a Nutraceutical. Because of this comprehensive medicinal value of Carica papaya, we are trying here to convey the reports studied especially for the anticancer activities of the age-old fruit, which will help researchers to pull in concert data and may be a "lead" for the one of the dangerous disease in the world.

Balhae was an ancient Korean kingdom that existed almost 1,300 years ago. It was a dynamic time in the Korean history when the national strength was building up in terms of politics, economy and culture, thereby called as "Haedongseongguk, the powerhouse in the East". Balhae had dominated parts of Manchuria and the northern part of the Korean peninsula between the late 7th century and the 10th century, occupying the center stage of the northern Korean history. It serves as a window to the East Asia in the present as well as in the past. Yet, due to its geography spanning from the North Korea to Kilin Province of China to part of Heilongjiang Province and to the Littoral Province of Siberia, Balhae has been the center of historical disputes among neighboring countries that insist it is part of each of their own history. China argues that it was a prefecture of the Tang Dynasty, established by the Mohe, not a successor to Goguryeo, which is a China-oriented viewpoint of history. In addition, Russia recognizes Balhae as their first-ever medieval feudal state since the Littoral Province is now under their sovereignty. Therefore, the restoration of Balhae history is in line with the veritable establishment of the ancient Korean history. For this, it is necessary to embrace inter-disciplinary achievements and to continue efforts to adopt them rather than to blame the shortage of historical documents and the difficulty of the excavation of relics. If fashion is "a visual symbol" of our society, beauty culture serve as a mirror to reflect our civilization and culture directly or indirectly. Still, it is not easy to draw similarities by analyzing and comparing the attributes of various cultures and civilizations party because the essence of culture lies in diversity. Nevertheless, it is believed that cultural liaison as well as geographical liaison can be a medium to compensate for the limits of the foreign exchange history of Southeast Asia in proving the relationship between Goguryeo and Balhae, by examining and speculating beauty culture that reflect their period. It was confirmed by various documents regarding Goguryeo out of relics, historical sites and documents. Mural paintings showed how the people of Balhae wore and accessorized themselves. They also allowed us to speculate their way of living. As the contemporary historians can assert that Balhae is part of the Korean history thanks to the realism scholars in the late Joseon Dynasty, who rediscovered the Balhae history and conducted practical researches, it is expected that researchers who study beauty culture contribute to completing the restoration of the Balhae history by thoroughly examining our history, costume and beauty culture.
As the duty to report and investigate major elevator failures has expanded due to the total amendment of the Elevator Safety Management Act in 2018, more important information on major elevator failures that have been partially identified has been collected. As of 2019, the number of elevators in Korea exceeded 700,000, making it the eighth-class elevator powerhouse in the world, but there is a trend of increasing casualties due to accidents and breakdowns. An Seung-gang-gi is a term that encompasses an elevator that moves vertically and an escalator that moves horizontally. It is an important means of transportation for most citizens that are encountered almost every day in daily life, and it is also necessary as a means of transportation that enables the construction of skyscrapers. And it seems that its importance will never diminish in the future. Major elevator failures are the main cause of dispatch when accumulating the number of 119 dispatches, and the frequency of occurrence is high. It's a shame. According to Heinrich's Law, 300 minor signs and danger phenomena precede, 29 minor accidents and 1 major accident. Accidents caused by elevators are increasing every year due to the increase in the number of installations, and the damage is threatening the valuable lives and property of users and workers in related fields due to fatal risks such as death and serious injury. Elevator safety management can achieve its purpose only when it is managed with the usual interests, awareness of safety, and full efforts of the users, workers, and the government concerned. This study was analyzed based on 2019 data notified to the Korea Elevator Safety Agency on major breakdowns improved after the revision of the Elevator Safety Management Act in 2018, and a total of 8,256 data were analyzed using the SPSS 21 version, a statistical analysis tool, to analyze the correlation with technical statistics. Proceeded. Through the analysis, it was possible to obtain preventive safety management data to prevent serious elevator safety accidents from occurring, and to derive meaningful implications that related safety management and maintenance can be effectively operated to prevent serious failures. As Korea is rapidly becoming an IT powerhouse in the short term, various side effects such as cyber violence, personal information leakage and cyber terrorism are emerging as new social problems. Especially, the seriousness of leakage of personal information, which is the basis of safe cyber life, has been highlighted all over the world. In this regard, it is necessary to estimate the amount of the damage cost due to the leakage of personal information. In this study, we propose four evaluation methods to calculate the cost of damages due to personal information leakage according to average real transactions value, personally recognized value, compensation amount basis, and comparison to similar countries. We analyzed data from 2007 to 2016 to collect personal information leakage cases for 10 years and estimated the cost of damages. The number of cases used in the estimation is 65, and the total number of personal information leakage is about 430 million. The estimated cost of personal information leakage in 2016 was estimated to be at least KRW 7.4 billion, up to KRW 220 billion, and the 10 year average was estimated at from KRW 10.7 billion to KRW 307 billion per year. Also, we could find out the singularity that the estimated damage due to personal information leakage increases every three years. In the future, this study will be able to provide an index that can measure the damage cost caused by the leakage of personal information more accurately, and it can be used as an index of measures to reduce the damage cost due to personal information leakage.

Teddy bear is a typical rag doll which has been loved by people all over the world for more than 100 years based on its cute and friendly image. In addition, as it has been together for a long time with us, it is considered as a friend of people with memories of all ages and sexes, not just animal doll. Teddy bear has been developing its appearance and character continually playing a role as the symbol of society and issues of an era beyond toys, however it still remains in the image of stuffed toys. Therefore, more advanced teddy bear characters should be created in line with the current environment and market conditions that are undergoing major changes based on the Internet and smart phones. Thus, the concept of the character and the recent development of the market were reflected and the meaning and current image of teddy bears were analyzed to develop new teddy bear stories, worldviews, and characters through design process. And it was created 3D characters, videos, and SNS channels through the developed 3D character design and motion design. Furthermore, we want to take a look at the direction in which Korea's character business can develop in accordance with global changes and suggest the possibility of entering as a character powerhouse.
Carbon neutrality, the international community's practical challenge in response to climate change, is becoming a key industrial strategy for the future development of nations. Despite concerns that China, as an economic powerhouse in the G2, may face challenges leading global climate change efforts due to its high-carbon-emitting industrial structure, it is leveraging carbon neutrality to enhance its industrial competitiveness. The Chinese government has formulated national policies for achieving carbon neutrality and detailed sector-specific plans to implement them. In particular, it aims to leverage carbon neutrality industrial strategies as a lever for adjusting the domestic industrial structure and fostering new industries, at the same time responding to international climate norms and external pressures. However, the effectiveness of carbon-neutral industrial strategies is expected to vary based on regional conditions such as economic and industrial levels. This article analyzes the regional conditions for implementing carbon neutrality in China, as well as the contents and characteristics of major industrial policies. Due to differing levels of economic development and industrial structures, significant variations in carbon emissions, size, emission sources, and efficiency are inevitable across regions. These disparities introduce diverse initial conditions and endogenous factors in pursuing carbon-neutral goals, limiting the direction and implementation of carbon-neutral industrial strategies favoring certain regions. In particular, the extent of policy autonomy granted to local governments regarding carbon neutrality implementation will influence the regional dynamics of central-local environmental governance. Consequently, it is crucial to emphasize regional monitoring alongside comprehensive national research to accurately navigate the path towards carbon neutrality in China. In summary, the article underscores the importance of understanding regional variations in economic development, industrial structure, and policy autonomy for successful carbon neutrality implementation in China. It highlights the need for regional monitoring and comprehensive national research to determine a more precise direction for achieving carbon neutrality.

The projection on the demand for seafarers is seen to continue to rise in consonance with the world's fleet increasing tonnage. It is also expected that recurring officer shortages is paramount when global markets bounce off from the economic downturn it experienced for the last few years. In BIMCO/ISF(The Baltic and International Maritime Conference/International Shipping Federation) report for 2010, a continuous effort to produce competent seafarers should be adapted and as much as possible, reduce the wastage in the industry to address the looming scenario. The Republic of Korea, an OECD member, is a powerhouse in shipbuilding industry and has also had continued to show also an expanding trend in its fleet. On the other hand, the Philippines is still acknowledged as the main source of manpower for ocean-trading vessels. In this paper, a statistical comparison of maritime graduates' career path between the two countries is presented. In conclusion, it is suggested that a mutual co-operation between the Republic of Korea and the Philippines can be established with focusing on international maritime education and training collaboration.
The current curriculum in the 7th informatics, which simply highlights the use of applied programs rather than enhancing creativity through learning several principles in information science and thus making it hard to have optimism on the future as a powerhouse in IT. By diagnosing these problems, Education Ministry revised the existing curriculum to have a more scientific access to the informatics. However, the curricular revision fails to meet the needs of learners sufficiently because it tends to put the considerations of theoretical specialists before the learners them selves. This paper compares and analyzes the overall understanding of learners on informatics, current-curriculum and 7th revised curriculum and that of college-level, thus offering the student-centered one. Also, the research tries to bridge the opinion gap between developer and learner by looking into the understanding level of university majors about the current curriculum. In doing so, thesis may provide the basis on exploring new approaches and contribute to establishing 7th revised curriculum in school.
Research related to hydrogen technology is being actively conducted around the world. Korea is also making great efforts to develop technology to leap forward as a hydrogen economy powerhouse. In particular, the world's No. 1 hydrogen vehicle penetration rate is proof of this. However, the construction of hydrogen refueling stations is being delayed. The biggest delay factor is the public opposition. As such, policies without public support cannot be successfully implemented and are not sustainable. Therefore, this study intends to analyze the factors affecting the acceptability of hydrogen refueling stations in favor of and against them. As a research method, the basic factors affecting acceptability were identified by reviewing previous studies, and a questionnaire was designed and investigated based on the established factors. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were verified, and the hypothesis was verified through correlation analysis. And, using structural equation modeling, a factor model was developed on the acceptability of hydrogen refueling stations. As a result of the study, acceptability defined private acceptability and public acceptability. In the case of private acceptability, it was confirmed that the higher the attitude toward the environment, the higher the level of knowledge about the hydrogen charging station, and the lower the degree of feeling the risk of the hydrogen charging station, the higher the acceptability. In the case of public acceptability, it was confirmed that the higher the benefit, the better the attitude toward the environment, and the lower the risk-taking characteristics of the individual, the higher the acceptability. Therefore, in this study, based on the potential factors verified in previous studies, the main factors affecting the acceptance on hydrogen refueling stations were identified. And the acceptance model was developed using structural equation modeling. This study is expected to provide basic data to seek ways to improve the acceptance of public when implementing national policies such as hydrogen refueling stations, and to be used analysis data for scientific communication.

The economy of the EU left behind the US economy in many aspects and the gap is widening. One major reason that promoted the EU's leading position, is the ability to continuously advancing industrial technology and it's high level of competitiveness. The role as a powerhouse of technological development is nurtured by a systematic attempt of the EU commission to stimulate international cooperation. Although the EU is focussing its efforts on international cooperation between EU-member states, nonmembers, namely Korea, can profit from this policy as well and generate win-win situations for both cooperating partners. Despite the enormous benefits for the Korean economy that would result from close ties with the EU in terms of technological cooperation, academic research in this area is very sparse. The main focus of the Korean academic community has been on the US and Japan so far; the cooperation between Korea and the EU was rather ignored. The purpose of this paper is to shed light on the potential of technological cooperation between Korea and the EU. After an introduction, chapter 2 explains the technology and innovation policy of the EU. Chapter 3 introduces the Framework Program for Research and Technological Development of the EU. Chapter 4 focuses on small and middle sized businesses and examines EUREKA, the EU’s effort to coordinate pan-european research cooperation.
