A Study on the Effects of Perceived Characteristics on Continuous Usage Intention in Smartphone Application (스마트폰 애플리케이션 사용자의 지각된 특성이 지속사용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Due to the explosive growth of smartphone use, new type and format of business opportunity is being created. Despite the creation of added value using smartphone is very important, the past study on smart phone has been mainly focused on its functions and specifications. This study is intended to identify the factors that influence continuance usage intention of smartphone and to analyze the relationship between such factors and the expected confirmation. satisfaction, and usage intention. The result of this empirical study indicates that the perceived enjoyfulness and quality significantly affect users' expected confirmation and satisfaction, and social influence also affects users' continuance usage intention. Thus, it implies users place a high value on enjoyfulness and quality in using smartphone application and on social influence in choosing specific application. Finally this paper provides a detailed account of how customers accept smartphone application and their perceived characteristics affect the usage intention.

  • The aim of this study is to analyze how both the quality of KMS (Knowledge Management System) and its organizational factors have effect on the utilization and user satisfaction in the defense sector. This study has verified the effects and identified the main factors affecting KMS performance measures. The nature of KMS quality and its organizational characteristics were deduced from previous research results, and a questionnaire survey was conducted on 250 KMS users in the defense sector on the performance of KMS based on the time spent on KMS and the overall satisfaction through which the hypothesis was verified. This study has made several contributions in the fact that it had provided the opportunity to analyze which factors have impact on knowledge management performance in the defense sector and the utilization and users' satisfaction of KMS reflecting the viewpoint of the organizational characteristics of the military, while studying the factors which can affect the performance for knowledge management.

Groundwater Characterization according to Hydraulic Conductivity Input Method (수리전도도 적용 방식에 따른 지하수특성 분석)

  • Hydraulic conductivity is an important parameter in the analytical model of groundwater. This study analyzed the groundwater movement characteristics by estimating optimal parameters according to hydraulic conductivity input methods with the MODFLOW model which is widely used. It first estimated the optimal parameters by dividing hydraulic conductivity zones by attitude. Next, it estimated optimal parameters by geological characteristic. It analyzed the groundwater movement characteristics by applying the recharge quantity and amount of evapotranspiration of drought periods and flood years with the estimated parameters. As the result was analyzed that there are differences of observation water level values according to hydraulic conductivity input methods but there is no big differences of overall groundwater movement characteristics by hydraulic conductivity input method, the two methods have found to be applicability in analyses of groundwater. So, it is judged that studies on more exact application of hydraulic conductivity and the application methods are needed.

  • Korean High Speed Train (KHST) has been tested on high speed line in JungBu site since it was developed in 2002. The data acquisition system was used to test successfully the on-line test for proving the dynamic performance of KHST. The recognition of system vibration mode for railway vehicle is essential to understand the characteristics of design for dynamic system and diagnose the dynamic problems of vehicle system during test and operation. But, up to now, there are the efforts to know the system vibration mode within limit of theoretical field only, not experimental approach with systematic method. The theoretical results are too reliable to apply to real design problem, because it is theoretically based on the homogeneous linear system although the real system have the nonlinear characteristics and vary the environmental conditions. Therefor, in this paper, it is proposed the efficient method of vibration analysis for rail vehicle system and this method apply to KHST to recognize the vibration mode characteristics of it. The results show that this method is able to make the system vibration modes for KHST clear.

Surface Roughness Characteristics of Cemented Carbide Ground by Laminated Diamond Wheel (적층 다이아몬드 숫돌로 연삭된 초경합금의 표면거칠기 특성)

  • It was already proven experimentally that the laminated grinding wheel is superior to the general grinding wheel in the productivity of grinding. However, it can't be guaranteed when the workpiece material is cemented carbide. Because of its extreme hardness, the grinding wheels made up of super-abrasives are used for grinding it. So, to investigate the performance in extremely hard materials grinding using super-abrasive grinding wheels, the surface roughness characteristics of cemented carbide ground by the laminated diamond wheels are studied experimentally. Through this study, it is found that the similar surface roughness characteristics, those were found in the studies on the laminated aluminum oxide wheels, are still available.

  • Recently, the mobile telecommunication industry is increasing rapidly: nevertheless it is competing severely with other mobile telecommunication industries in the world and it is projected that in the future the mobile telecommunication industry will compete more fiercely and increase more rapidly. By means of looking into the relationship of the mobile telecommunication service characteristics and satisfaction, therefore, it can be said that it can help the companies which want to survive in such a competitive society. And then we investigated how these classified characteristics on mobile service could influence on customer satisfaction.

A Study on Storytelling Characteristic of Super-compressed Web Drama "72 seconds" (초압축형 웹드라마 <72초>의 스토리텔링 특성 연구)

  • This study examined the storytelling characteristics of the super-compressed web drama "72 seconds". By analyzing all seasonal episodes of "72 seconds" and applying the various storytelling methodologies and related theories, this paper derived the main storytelling characteristics of "72 seconds" as follows. First, through the composition of the microscopic non-plot, the story value of empathy and fun is maximized, even though there is no dramatic composition compared to the general movie or drama. Second, by the specialization of everyday life, it leads to the transition from everyday experience to the new context. In other words, it provides a consensus through the cognitive expansion and interest by unfamiliarity of the ordinary experience to the audience. Third, based on the characteristics of super-compression and short theme, it utilizes fully stylistic narration like rapping. This makes the audience feel novel and further enhances the branding effect of content. And finally, based on various hybridity and variation, it uses remediation actively in all respects, especially comedy genre and comic factor.

  • Recently It becomes a rapidly growing concern to find effective ways of managing IS development projects as the projects increase in many organization. This paper focuses on developing an integrative management framework for IS development project in contingent perspective. The framework is based upon contingent relationship between management dimensions of IS development project and the characteristics of the task replaced or supported by an IS. Management dimensions of IS development consist of mode, content and process. Task characteristics which are considered as contingent variables include project size, unstructuredness level, hierarchical level, interdependence level and system innovativeness level. The data used for validating this conceptual framework are collected from 119 IS development projects in 70 Korean business organizations. One-way ANOVA and T-test are employed to test the hypotheses.

  • This paper presents a design of a transmission line negative group delay (NGD) circuit with multiple pole characteristics. By inserting an additional transmission line into a conventional NGD circuit, the proposed circuit provides further design parameters to obtain wideband group delay (GD) and to help reduce signal attenuation. As a result, the number of gain compensating amplifiers can be reduced, which can contribute to stable operation when integrated into RF systems. The multiple pole characteristics can provide wider NGD bandwidth and can be obtained by connecting resonators with slightly different center frequencies separated by quarter-wavelength transmission lines. For experimental validation, an NGD circuit with two poles GD characteristic is designed, simulated, and measured.

On the Temperature Characteristics and Electrical Conduction of Irradiated Low Density Polyethylene

  • This paper attempted to investigate the temperature characteristics and electrical conduction when low density polyethylene is irradiated. It was found that the log $\rho$ versus 1/T in irradiated polyethylene specimen resulted in different characteristics when it was heated upto above the melting point from when it was heated at the beginning stage. It was also found that the relation between the temperature and volume resistivity represented jumping phenomenon and that crystallization by thermal change was closely related to the fusion of crystalline region.
