  • It has been a common misconception that landscape architecture is a gardening, landscape gardening or planting. However, landscape architecture is entirely different from gardening, landscape gardening and planting when it comes to professional category. Landscape architecture is a interdisciplinary science to improve a quality of citizen's life through analysing social culture, psychological configuration, aesthetic characteristic and integrating them in human society. Today's landscape architecture is a interdisciplinary technology including ecological and artistic value to create most of outdoor space used by human through preserving nature and enhancing the environment. The field has been changed constantly in the flow of the period and social development as providing green network system, recreation area, ecological environment in the city.

A Study on Measures of Professional Ethics Education for the Department Related to Guard (경호 관련학과 직업윤리교육 방안 연구)

  • The professional ethics for the guard is defined as the professional ethics that the person working as a guard to have. The professional ethics education builds the certainty and confidence about professional ethics recognition as well as behavior for guards so that helps the successful performance of the job. Therefore, this study tried to consider previous researches, understand the current professional ethics education for the department related to the guard and the case studies of incidents due to lack of professional ethics education to suggest the measures of activating professional ethics education. First, it is to consider the specialty of the guard to build the guard-martial spirit. Second, the professional ethics education must be out of the central culture study but develop as a major subject. Third, the quality and professionalism of the responsible professor of the professional ethics subject shall be considered. Forth, the professional ethics education must be performed not only at school but also continuously through the various ethics programs of the work places as well as organizations.

The Effects of Rehabilitation Hospital Nurses' Professional Autonomy and Self-Efficacy on Professional Self-Concept (재활전문병원 간호사의 전문직 자율성과 자기효능감이 전문직 자아개념에 미치는 영향요인)

  • The aim of this descriptive correlation research was determine the factors affecting the professional self-concept of nurses working at rehabilitation hospitals. The data were collected from 192 nurses working at three rehabilitation hospitals with less than 300 beds in B City and at two in D City from May 1 to 30, 2015, and then analyzed using the SPSS Win 18.0 program. They scored 3.03 for professional autonomy, 3.43 for self-efficacy, and 3.25 for professional self-concept on average; professional autonomy was positively correlated with the professional self-concept and self-efficacy was strongly positively correlated with the professional self-concept. The professional self-concept generally accounted for 46.9% and the self-efficacy had the greatest impact on the professional self-concept, accounting for 33%. Based on these results, it is necessary to help rehabilitation hospital nurses improve their self-efficacy and develop standardized professional education programs to give them pride and dignity.

Exploring the Professional Development Program for Science High School Teachers using Partnership with Scientists (과학자와의 파트너십을 활용한 과학고 교사 전문성 신장 프로그램 탐색)

  • This research explored the direction of professional development programs for science high school science teachers through partnership with scientists. Eighteen science teachers and twenty three experts attended as partners during two weeks program. To find any finding and implication, survey and interview were conducted with participant, and participant observation was conducted to understand interaction between them. It was found that the professional development program through partnership with scientists would contribute to increasing expertise of science high school teachers. From findings, it was suggested to use professional development program where scientists participate for the professional development of science high school teachers.
