SCM의 정보역량 및 위험관리가 사업성과에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the causal relation of Business Performance, Information Capability and Risk Management in the Supply Chain Management)

  • 본 연구에서는 기업의 핵심 요소로 꼽히고 있는 IT(information technology) 역량과 공급체인의 위험관리 요인과 기업의 사업성과 간의 구조적 관계를 규명하였다. 이를 위해서 공급체인 위험관리를 수행하고 있는 153개 기업들을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였고, 구조방정식모형(Structural equation model)으로 실증분석을 하였다. 먼저 기업의 IT 인프라 요인을 선행변수로, IT 활용과 공급체인 위험관리의 요인을 매개변수로 설정하였다. 기업의 사업성과 요인과 함께 연구모형에 포함시켜 실증분석을 한 결과 다음과 같은 연구결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 기업의 IT 인프라 요인은 기업의 IT 활용과 위험관리요인에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 기업의 IT 활용 요인은 기업의 사업성과 요인에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 공급체인의 위험관리 요인은 기업의 사업성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 이는 기업이 IT 인프라에 대한 투자가 이루어졌을 때 IT 활용의 수준과 위험관리의 수준이 높아져 기업의 사업성과를 향상시킬 수 있고, IT 인프라를 구축하여 공급체인 위험관리의 수준을 향상시키지만 IT 활용 수준이 높아진다고 해서 위험관리의 수준이 높아지는 것은 아니라는 연구결과를 도출하였다. 본 연구는 최근 SCM 구축 기업들의 IT 활용과 위험관리 수준의 사업성과에 영향을 미치는 것에 향후 공급체인 위험관리의 효과적인 실행을 고려한 연구가 진행되어야 하겠다.

토사재해 취약 지역 분류 및 구조적 대안 수립을 위한 위험지표 적용 (Application of Risk Indexes for Classifying Vulnerable Zone and Planning Structural Alternative in Preparation for Debris Flow Disaster)

  • This study applied risk indexes to the disaster flow event occurred at Mt. Umyeon region in 2011. A 2D hydrodynamic model was employed to calculate flow characteristics, and the model was validated against two dam break flow problems conducted by Bellos and EU CADAM project. The model performance was shown to be satisfactory. In order to determine which index is more appropriate to assess the vulnerability of debris flow, 3 risk indexes (FII, FHR and VDI) were considered. It was found that VDI, which determines the risk level only by the velocity factor, consistently predicted the risk level corresponding to 6 because the velocity range was widely organized. However, in the case of FII and FHR, the risk was reasonably quantified due to combined consideration of significant factors of flow velocity and debris thickness. Therefore, FII and FHR are expected to be more accurate than VDI. However, two indexes still need to be improved to include major factors such as debris density or material properties.

  • 현재 국내 철도시설 운영기관은 노후 시설물 판단을 위한 명확한 정의와 시설물 보수/개량 우선순위 산정 방법이 정립되지 않아 성능중심 유지관리계획 수립에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구는 선행연구에서 노후 시설물을 어떻게 정의하였는지 고찰하고, 국내 노후 철도시설물 관리제도와 미국 연방대중교통청(FTA)의 교통시설물 자산관리체계 비교분석을 통해 벤치마킹 포인트를 도출하였다. 노후 시설물 판단은 경과연수와 성능수준을 같이 고려해야 하며, 경과연수와 성능등급 간 관계를 통계적으로 분석하여 보수/개량 우선순위를 산정해야 한다. 또한, FTA와 같은 데이터 기반 철도시설 관리를 위해서는 표준 철도시설물 분류체계를 기반으로 시설물 분류 하위 수준에서 내용연수, 성능평가 결과, 유지관리비용 데이터베이스를 구축하는 것이 필요하다. 향후 데이터가 충분히 축적되면 성능중심 노후 철도시설 관리를 위한 효율적 예산집행계획 수립에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

Semi-active storey isolation system employing MRE isolator with parameter identification based on NSGA-II with DCD

  • Base isolation, one of the popular seismic protection approaches proven to be effective in practical applications, has been widely applied worldwide during the past few decades. As the techniques mature, it has been recognised that, the biggest issue faced in base isolation technique is the challenge of great base displacement demand, which leads to the potential of overturning of the structure, instability and permanent damage of the isolators. Meanwhile, drain, ventilation and regular maintenance at the base isolation level are quite difficult and rather time- and fund- consuming, especially in the highly populated areas. To address these challenges, a number of efforts have been dedicated to propose new isolation systems, including segmental building, additional storey isolation (ASI) and mid-storey isolation system, etc. However, such techniques have their own flaws, among which whipping effect is the most obvious one. Moreover, due to their inherent passive nature, all these techniques, including traditional base isolation system, show incapability to cope with the unpredictable and diverse nature of earthquakes. The solution for the aforementioned challenge is to develop an innovative vibration isolation system to realise variable structural stiffness to maximise the adaptability and controllability of the system. Recently, advances on the development of an adaptive magneto-rheological elastomer (MRE) vibration isolator has enlightened the development of adaptive base isolation systems due to its ability to alter stiffness by changing applied electrical current. In this study, an innovative semi-active storey isolation system inserting such novel MRE isolators between each floor is proposed. The stiffness of each level in the proposed isolation system can thus be changed according to characteristics of the MRE isolators. Non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm type II (NSGA-II) with dynamic crowding distance (DCD) is utilised for the optimisation of the parameters at isolation level in the system. Extensive comparative simulation studies have been conducted using 5-storey benchmark model to evaluate the performance of the proposed isolation system under different earthquake excitations. Simulation results compare the seismic responses of bare building, building with passive controlled MRE base isolation system, building with passive-controlled MRE storey isolation system and building with optimised storey isolation system.

수도권 지역난방연계 열병합발전소의 기반기금 지원과 개선방안 (A Study on the Improvement of Subsidy Program for CHP Plant Connected with Capital Region District Heating System)

  • CHP system supplies electricity and heating together with high efficiency. Current utility's CHP system uses electric power by itself and sells thermal energy to KDHC(Korea District Heating Corporation). CHP's operation cost except sales revenue of heating was covered by the sale revenue of electricity. Thus Electric generation cost in district Heating CHP system has close relationship with the level of heating price. However, after the restructuring of electricity industry, the operation cost could not be covered by sales revenue of heating and electricity. This loss was compensated by energy subsidy program in the electric power industry infrastructure fund. This paper suggests reasonable evaluation and improvement methods of the loss calculation of CHP system utilizing the infrastructure fund efficiency In terms of the direction of support by the fund, it provides the methods to prevent inefficient operation through setting up the upper limit of subsidy and to improve the loss calculation. Moreover, it suggest fixed rate support by heating supply level and reducing subsidy gradually for an efficient operation of CHP system.

정보기술 루틴의 기업성과에 대한 영향 (An Impact of IT Routines on Firm Performance)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 정보기술 루틴이 기업 성과에 미치는 메커니즘을 검토하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 기업성과, 비즈니스 프로세스 성과, 정보기술 인프라스트럭쳐 유연성, 정보기술 인력의 지식, 정보기술 루틴 등으로 구성되는 연구 모델을 제안한다. 연구 모델에서 정보기술 루틴은 다른 정보기술 능력들 (정보기술 인프라스트럭쳐 유연성, 정보기술 인력의 지식)에 일차적으로 영향을 미치고, 이어서 비즈니스 프로세스 성과에 영향을 통해 궁극적으로 기업성과에 간접적으로 영향을 미친다. 연구 모델은 243개의 기업 수준 데이터에 기반하여 검토되었는데, 분석도구로는 PLS를 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 연구 모델에서 제안된 모든 경로가 통계적으로 의미 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Association between Electronic Medical Record System Adoption and Healthcare Information Technology Infrastructure

  • Objectives: The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between the level of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system adoption and healthcare information technology (IT) infrastructure. Methods: Both survey and various healthcare administrative datasets in Korea were used. The survey was conducted during the period from June 13 to September 25, 2017. The chief information officers of hospitals were respondents. Among them, 257 general hospitals and 273 small hospitals were analyzed. A logistic regression analysis was conducted using the SAS program. Results: The odds of having full EMR systems in general hospitals statistically significantly increased as the number of IT department staff members increased (odds ratio [OR] = 1.058, confidence interval [CI], 1.003-1.115; p = 0.038). The odds of having full EMR systems was significantly higher for small hospitals that had an IT department than those of small hospitals with no IT department (OR = 1.325; CI, 1.150-1.525; p < 0.001). Full EMR system adoption had a positive relationship with IT infrastructure in both general hospitals and small hospitals, which was statistically significant in small hospitals. The odds of having full EMR systems for small hospitals increased as IT infrastructure increased after controlling the covariates (OR = 1.527; CI, 1.317-4.135; p = 0.004). Conclusions: This study verified that full EMR adoption was closely associated with IT infrastructure, such as organizational structure, human resources, and various IT subsystems. This finding suggests that political support related to these areas is indeed necessary for the fast dispersion of EMR systems into the healthcare industry.

The Impact of Technology Adoption on Organizational Productivity

  • Purpose: This research investigates the impact of technology adoption on organisation productivity. The framework has three independent variables viz. technological change, information technology (IT) infrastructure, and IT knowledge management and one dependent variable as organisational productivity. Research design, data and methodology: An explanatory research design with a quantitative research method was employed, and data was collected using a self-administered questionnaire using online as well as an offline survey. The sample consisted of 300 IT managers and senior-level executives (production as well as service team) in leading IT companies in Malaysia selected using snowball sampling. Normality and reliability assessment was performed in the first stage utilising SPSS 22, and Confirmatory Factory Analysis (CFA) was performed with maximum likelihood estimation to assess the internal consistency, convergent validity, and discriminant validity. Finally, Structural Equation Model (SEM) and path analysis are conducted using AMOS 22. Results: The research findings demonstrated that technological change and IT infrastructure positively and significantly impact the organisation's productivity while IT knowledge management has significant but negative impact on organizational productivity of IT companies in Malaysia. Conclusion: The research concludes that all three factors plays important role in deciding organizational producvity. Recommendations, implications, limitations and future research avenues are discussed.

콜센터에서 정보기술과 고객지식을 이용한 고객서비스 프로세스 향상 : 컴퓨터 자기효능감의 조절역할 (Enhancing the Customer Service Process through Information Technologies and Customer Knowledge in Call Centers : The Moderating Role of Computer Self-Efficacy)

  • Call center service is enabled by the use of a firm's various information technologies (IT) and accumulated knowledge. IT and knowledge resources have been considered a fundamental infrastructure for developing a firm's business capabilities. Recognizing this, this study examines whether a firm's IT and customer knowledge resources enhance its customer service process capability and thereby contribute to creating superior customer service, at the level of customer service representatives (CSRs). That is, constructs in this study were measured on a basis of CSRs' perception. Moreover, this study verifies the moderating role of CSRs' computer self-efficacy on the relationships between IT and customer knowledge resources and customer service process capability. To test the proposed hypotheses, this study conducted partial least squares (PLS) analysis with a total of 234 data which were collected on CSRs working at four call centers. The key findings are as follows: first, IT infrastructure integration and customer knowledge integration are positively associated with customer service process capability. Second, customer service process capability is a key determinant of customer service performance. Finally, CSRs' computer self-efficacy has a moderating effect on the relationship between IT infrastructure integration and customer service process capability. The details of the findings and implications are presented.

DEA 모형을 이용한 주요정보통신기반시설 취약점 분석·평가의 효율성 분석 (Analysis of Efficiency of Major Information and Communication Infrastructure Analysis and Evaluation Methods Using DEA Model)

  • 오늘날 국가 기반시설의 전자적 침해 행위에 의한 정보통신 인프라의 교란 및 마비가 위협 요소로 대두되고 있다. 이에 정부는 주요 기반시설의 정보시스템 및 제어시스템을 보호하기 위해 주요정보통신기반시설 취약점 분석·평가제도를 정기적으로 시행하고 있으며 이를 효율적으로 운영하기 위해 매년 늘어난 인적·물적 자원을 투자하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 정부의 노력에도 불구하고 국가 기반시설을 대상으로 한 침해사고가 지속해서 발생함에 따라 정보보호 기반마련을 위한 정부의 자원 투입이 정보보호 활동 결과 산출에 미치는 영향도가 떨어져 평가체계가 효율적이지 못하다는 의문이 제기되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 주요정보통신기반시설 취약점 분석·평가 제도의 효율적 운용여부를 DEA 모형을 이용해 검토하고, 분석된 결과를 바탕으로 정보보호 수준 제고를 위한 개선방안을 제안하도록 한다.
