Since its introduction in Korea, design VE has widely been used as a means to enhance values in the construction industry. However, a greater emphasis is still placed on cost reduction in approach attitudes and performance evaluations on the implementation of design VE. In this regard, this study presented a performance evaluation method for cost, function, and value of VE proposals. Numerical criteria on the increase and decrease of cost and function that can classify the value enhancement type of VE proposals were proposed based on the performance evaluation method. It is expected that the use of numerical criteria for the type classification of VE proposal, and cost and performance evaluation method proposed in this study will make it possible to conduct a clear and more intuitive evaluation of VE proposal. However, it is appropriate to use the numerical criteria as a guideline to apply the new performance evaluation method for VE proposals. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a statistical analysis with a wider range of users after the repeated application of the findings of this study, and thus to carry out research for presenting the numerical criteria for various types of users.

Korean construction firms have been continuing investment of IT for last ten years. However, manager did not support a decision-making of IT because there is no evaluation and feedback system of IT investment. This study is a preceding research of making IT evaluation model as a part of MOCT(the Ministry of Construction and Transportation)'s construction CALS/EC policy and makes a basic frame through a trend and state of IT survey. As a result of survey, To encourage them, IT development to be balanced in each members for successful stabilization of CALS/EC as well as IT evaluation will be conducted in accordance with one's environment, such as a role and level of companies.

Researches about an evaluation system for military officers have been studied because it is one of the most important elements for managing units and improving combat power. This paper proposes an evaluation system that enhance justice of evaluation, accomplish a distintion among evaluating elements and improve synergy effects between higher level officers and lower level officers. The evaluation system in this study not only suggests evaluating items and methods but also determines the final evaluation ranking among the evaluated that have their own evaluation criteria, items and duties using the median rank method used in statistics.

Virtual reality can be applied well to product design and evaluation. A virtual design evaluation system for an automobile cabin was implemented on a desk-top virtual environment system. It has two frontal seats, a dashboard, a steering wheel, and various displays/controllers. Users can interact with these components as they do that with real ones. To verify the effectiveness of the virtual design evaluation system, 17 subjects participated in the evaluation procedure. The evaluation result showed that the stereoscopic vision enhanced the subjective reality of the virtual automobile cabin. Graphic details, design, and time lag were also related to the subjective feel for reality.

This paper describes the evaluation procedures which was applied to the team teaching-based technical writing and presentation class. Among the various evaluations for the class, three major cases are introduced. Self-established goal evaluation, presentation evaluation and team evaluation are those. Each evaluation is designed to promote or evaluate student activities from the class. And it was found to be effective for team-based writing class.

As the budget size and complexity of 1T investment are growing, IT value measurement becomes more critical to the success of IT management In public organizations and private firms. It has been known that there are many factors such as IT costs, risks, qualify, and usage that should be taken Into consideration during the process of measuring IT value and making IT Investment decisions. However, little research has been done so far In order to analysis factors affecting the IT value and effectiveness. The purpose of this study Is to Investigate the impact of IT Project types and ownerships on IT value evaluation. The three research questions are as follows : (1) Does IT project type such as transactional, Informational, and infrastructure have any impact on 1T value measurement\ulcorner (2) Does the IT development ownership has any Impact on IT value\ulcorner (3) Does the IT operation ownership has any impact\ulcorner The empirical research was done at S-Electronics, world-wide known and the biggest manufacturing company in Korea, based on the method of structured interview. About 200 individual Information systems have been evaluated to calculate ROI measures, the dependent variable In this study. The results of statistical analysis show that two of three Independent variables, IT project types and IT development ownership, have statistically significant effects on IT value in terms of ROI measures.

The important factors of a food festival are divided into hardware and software programs. In this respect, this research aims to study the relationships among the composites of the food festival and its relationship with the visitors' revisit intention. Since the visitors' evaluation is a presumption of their satisfaction, it lies in a constant relationship with satisfaction and the reason why they revisited the festival. Thus, this research examined the influence of the composite factors on visitors' evaluation (operation, experience) and the relationship between operation evaluation and experience evaluation. In addition, it examined the relationship between evaluation factors and the intent of revisits. In conclusion, visitors' evaluation showed a positive effect on the survey about whether they would consider revisiting the food festival. In this context of continuative relationship, the research suggests that it would be necessary to examine the relationship between composite factors, visitors' evaluation, satisfaction and intent of revisits in future research.

For making high-functional illumination environment and pleasantness to human beings, it is needed to analyze optical characteristics from lightsource as well as to analyze and examine emotional characteristics which respond to optical characteristics systematically. Also, it is Possible to classify lightsource according to function and use based on optical and emotional characteristics systematically and these results can be applied to practical data for professional illumination design field. The aim of this study is to develop technique for evaluating sensibility as well as to accumulate sensibility database through measuring and evaluating emotional reaction to optical characteristics from lightsource. Final aim of this study is to develop simulation and evaluation technique for interior illumination environment, the outline of this paper : 1) operating simulator for various illumination environment 2) developing evaluation methodology for evaluating illumination environment 3) preparing sensibility index through evaluation and analysis The process of this study is as follows. 1) Developing optical evaluation item of lightsource 2) Developing emotional evaluation item of lightsource 3). Analyzing, correlation between optical evaluation item and emotional eveluation item 4) Classifying and selecting object for evaluation 5) Optical measuring and evaluating for lightsource 6) Operating Simulator for illumination environment 7) Emontional measuring and evaluating lightsource and color 8) Developing estimative formula and sensibility index of emotional reaction The results of this study are as follows. 1. This study developed an evaluation system of adaptation countermeasures for climate change in the water resources sector using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and the assessment procedures were applied to the Second Chungcheongnam-do Climate Change Adaptation Implementation Plan (Chungnam Implementation Plan). Firstly, the evaluation criteria are composed of two levels according to the hierarchical structure, and AHP gives priority to 4 evaluation criteria of the first level and 16 alternative indicators of the second level. Secondly, after the importance of the evaluation criteria or indicators has been determined, the significance of each measure was evaluated by applying it to the water-sector measures of the Chungnam Implementation Plan, and the effectiveness of the evaluation system was validated. The Chungnam case study shows that the evaluation system will be more effective and efficient when it is applied during development phase rather than after the implementation plan is finalized. It is also expected that the evaluation system will be used to evaluate and prioritize climate change adaptation policies in other regions, and then to compare the means of adaptation to climate change in various regions and to select recommendation policies.

Purpose: Japan established the convalescent rehabilitation wards, corresponding to Korea's rehabilitation medical institutions, in 2000 and developed it into the present system through continuous revisions. This study sought to analyze the issues and tasks faced by Japan segregated by the period of revision of convalescent rehabilitation ward-related medical fee regulations, through a literature review and further aimed to explore the direction of development of domestic rehabilitation medical institutions. Methods: Ten revisions of the medical fee regulations were classified into three stages based on quality evaluation: (1) the quantitative expansion stage (2000-2006); (2) quality evaluation introduction stage (2008-2014); and (3) quality evaluation maturity stage (2016-2020). Results: The following issues and tasks emerged: (1) For the quantitative expansion stage; insufficient rehabilitation within the ward, insufficient after-hour rehabilitation, insufficient connection with acute-stage hospitals and maintenance facilities, and the low ratio of specialists. (2) For the quality evaluation introduction stage; disparity in the manpower between institutions, the necessity of a 365-day rehabilitation system, avoidance of critical patients, and the problem that an increase in the amount of rehabilitation did not lead to a qualitative improvement. 3) For the quality evaluation maturity stage; cream-skimming issues in selecting patients, inappropriate evaluation of rehabilitation effects, and the necessity of follow-up measures after discharge. Conclusion: It is worth referring to the established regulations in Japan, and concurrently it is necessary to strengthen the evaluation of the structures, processes, and results when operating and evaluating rehabilitation medical institutions in Korea taking into account the side effects that could be identified in Japan.
