Recently, emergence of smart-phones and Social Networking Service(SNS) would offer the market environment changes and the opportunities for new business. For the case analysis comprehensive survey were implemented. And those data were analyzed along the research framework. The late-comer firms offered differential services, maintained creative and opened corporate culture, shoed learning capabilities which means absorption and organization of external knowledge, innovative efforts to control the insurgents than early-mover firms. When we analyze these phenomena along the developmental stages of late-comer, we can perceive that the stage of late-comers firms were moving from the "tracing the path" stage to "jumping the path" stage which means the creating capabilities were more or less enhanced and the firms become more stable in terms of business operation. In business model, early-mover firms showed clear definition for each business element, especially the revenue structure, while late-mover firms seemed unstable or unclear revenue structure.
Machine learning techniques have been applied in almost all the domains of human life to aid and enhance the problem solving capabilities of the system. The field of medical science has improved to a greater extent with the advent and application of these techniques. Efficient expert systems using various soft computing techniques like artificial neural network, Fuzzy Logic, Genetic algorithm, Hybrid system, etc. are being developed to equip medical practitioner with better and effective diagnosing capabilities. In this paper, a comparative study to evaluate the predictive performance of subtractive clustering based ANFIS hybrid system (SCANFIS) with Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) based ANFIS system (FCMANFIS) for Alzheimer disease (AD) has been taken. To evaluate the performance of these two systems, three parameters i.e. root mean square error (RMSE), prediction accuracy and precision are implemented. Experimental results demonstrated that the FCMANFIS model produce better results when compared to SCANFIS model in predictive analysis of Alzheimer disease (AD).
Recently, social and economic environment has been rapidly changed. In particular, the development of IT technology accelerated the introduction of databases, communication networks, information processing and analyzing systems, making the use of such information and communication technology an essential factor for corporate management innovation. This change also affected the accounting areas. The purpose of this study is to document changes in accounting areas due to the adoption of IT technologies in the era of technology and information, to define the required accounting professions in this era, and to present the efficient educational methodologies for training such accounting experts. An accounting expert suitable for the era of technology and information means an accounting profession not only with basic accounting knowledge, competence, independency, reliability, communication skills, and flexible interpersonal skills, but also with IT skills, data utilization and analysis skills, the understanding big data and artificial intelligence, and blockchain-based accounting information systems. In order to educate future accounting experts, the accounting curriculum should be reorganized to strengthen the IT capabilities, and it should provide a wide variety of learning opportunities. It is also important to provide a practical level of education through industry and academic cooperation. Distance learning, web-based learning, discussion-type classes, TBL, PBL, and flipped-learnings will be suitable for accounting education methodologies to foster future accounting experts. This study is meaningful because it can motivate to consider accounting educational system and curriculum to enhance IT capabilities.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to apply team-based learning to dental hygiene students in theoretical oral prophylaxis class, one of required courses geared toward acquiring professional knowledge on preventive public health, as oral prophylaxis was counted among major duties of dental hygienists. It's ultimately meant to compare the effects of team- based learning and expository instruction on the learning motivation and self-directed learning capabilities of learners in order to discuss the effects of team-based learning in dental hygiene education. Methods : The subjects in this study were 60 dental hygiene students at C college. Out of them, 32 students who were freshmen as of 2007 were grouped into an experimental group, and 28 students who were freshmen as of 2006 were selected as a control group. The experimental group was engaged in team-based learning from August 30 to December 6, 2007, and the control group took expository lessons from August 28 to December 8, 2006. Their learning motivation and self-directed learning capabilities were evaluated by using t-test, paired t-test and GLM analysis. Results : The findings of the study were as follows: 1. The experimental group scored better in learning motivation than the control group after they were engaged in team-based learning (p<.001). According to GLM analysis, there was a significant intergroup gap in learning motivation, and the two groups were statistically significantly different in its subfactors involving attention, relevance and confidence(p<.05). 2. The experimental group excelled the control group at self-directed learning capabilities(p<.05), and the team-based learning had a better effect on self-directed learning capabilities than the expository instruction. Conclusions : Given the findings of the study, the team-based learning was more effective than the expository instruction at boosting the learning motivation and self-directed learning capabilities of the students. Therefore revised teaching methods should be prepared in consideration of the characteristics of dental hygiene courses, and the development of new instructional models and educational programs is required as well.
The global economy is rapidly changing by technological innovation and diffusion of knowledge across nations. Therefore it is still important issue to find a major variables for convergence and divergence of economic development. The studies up to present on the relationship between innovation and institution has limitations that they have dealt with this issue only in term of cross-sectional study or mathematical research models. This paper aims at analyzing the impact of innovation capabilities and institutional quality on the economic growth. Empirically this paper will explore the relationship among human capital capacity and FDI, R&D expenditures and innovation capabilities and institutional quality. This paper analyzes 64 countries, which were divided into 4 groups depending on the level of economic development. Based on the data from 1995 to 2011 and by using a panel model, we look at the structural implications of the research questions. According to our analysis, the weight of R&D and the innovation capabilities were identified as important determinants of economic growth, and FDI was significant factor for economic growth in the upper middle group countries. In case of the innovation capabilities of countries, the diffusion and openness of innovation were most meaningful variables for economic growth. Also, institutional quality has a significantly positive impact. However, in the low-level economic group, innovation capabilities and institutions have a negative impact on economic growth. This paper identifies an important policy implications that of national innovation and institutional factors should be properly invested in accordance with the level of a country's economic growth.
This study micro-analyzed the impact of innovation capabilities on innovation performance by type of CEO, with innovative SMEs being subject to research. In addition, the impact of CEO type on innovative capabilities and the impact of innovative capabilities on innovation performance were studied together. In order to achieve the research objective, we conducted an empirical analysis of 250 innovative small and medium-sized enterprises registered in the medium-term department as research targets and the results are as follows. First, the analysis of the impact of the type of CEO on the capacity of innovation shows that market-oriented, technology-driven and consultant-type CEOs have a significant impact on the amount of technology change reduction, but managed CEOs do not see any statistically significant differences in the amount of technology change reduction areas. Managed CEOs did not see statistically significant differences in the amount of technology change-sensitive areas. In addition, it was analyzed that the current type of CEO of small businesses does not affect the R&D technology digestion capacity of technological innovation capabilities. Second, the analysis of the relationship between innovation capabilities and innovation performance did not have a statistically significant effect. Third, the analysis of the adjustment effect between the type of CEO and the capacity of innovation according to the growth stage of small businesses shows that the technology and the consultant-type CEO affect the amount of the area of technology change, but the managed and market-type CEOs did not have the adjustment effect. Fourth, the analysis of the capacity of innovation and the effect of adjustment between innovation and innovation in the growth phase of innovative SMEs did not have a statistically significant effect.
In the rapidly changing era of knowledge revolution, user-centered IT services are emerging as a very important component of modern business. However, in order to lead IT services into success, traditional capabilities and competences are not good enough. Development of IT services involve service planners and designers as well as traditional systems developers. This detailed segmentation of job and corresponding competences among involved in IT service development brings in new type of conflicts and contradictions that may require special attention for IT services to be properly development and implemented. This study aims to explore and define competences and roles of newly emerging job groups in IT services: planners, designers, and developers. In order to identify underlying competences of these emergeing groups, two stage interviews were conducted. At the first stage, general competence framework is developed across these groups with different skills for similar competence catogories. Using the categories developed at the first stage, members of each groups were asked to rate and assess the competences of other groups. Comparisons of these reciprocal assessment revealed the conceptual differences and biases across these groups. Detail differences are discussed and implications are discussed.
The purpose of this study was to identify how traumatic experiences and stresses caused hopelessness and depression among low-income residents, and to delineate what social problem solving capabilities might play roles in relation to the hopelessness theory of depression. For the purpose of the study, the target group of this study was restricted to adults over 20. This study recruited 175 low-income residents(the Beneficiary of National Basic Livelihood Security Act and the Near Poor Group) in Busan, Korea and employed a self-administered survey method during February, 2004. The following are the major results of the study. First, in low-income subjects, stresses showed positive influences on hopelessness. Second, in low-income subjects, stresses and hopelessness showed positive influences on depression. Third, stress influenced depression with hopelessness as the intervening variable, but it was not statistically significant path in traumatic experiences. The hopelessness theory of depression is to test whether the individuals who have negative attributional style and experience negative life events are likely to make negative attributions for the negative events they confront. The present study, using low-income residents, found that negative life experience predict negative attributions without negative attributional style. Fourth, social problem solving capabilities buffered the relationship between stress and hopelessness. It was also significant subscales apart from Positive Problem Orientation and Negative Problem Orientation. Fifth, social problem solving capabilities buffered the relationship between hopelessness and depression. It was also significant subscales apart from Negative Problem Orientation and Impulsivity/Carelessness Style. Based on the results, practice implications by identifying what social problem solving capabilities might play roles in hopelessness theory of depression were discussed.

Recent college education in the face of the Fourth Industrial Revolution highlights problem-solving skills or creativity over the passing of professional knowledge. In addition, the need for convergence education is growing further as high-tech information and communication technologies are converging to create innovative changes. In this study, after IT convergence education was conducted and after general convergence education was conducted, the difference in creative problem solving capabilities was compared and analyzed. The study found that students who received IT convergence education had higher creative problem solving capabilities than general convergence education, and showed a statistically significant difference. In order to foster creative problem-solving skills, universities will need to promote IT convergence education in various courses.

The study assumes that the organizational capabilities of the criminal investigation police exercises a significant influence upon organizational concentration. In spite of the fact that it is natural that the organizational capabilities of the criminal investigation police exercises a significant influence upon organizational concentration, until now it is very deficient in studies of this field. It is a viewpoint that an organizational concentration would be improved when a capability of the organizational staff will be improved, they would have a targeting capability for sharing organizational goals and vision and a systematic capability would be supported by the dimension of the criminal investigation police. The study was aimed to deduce a developmental method for the criminal investigation police by conducting an analysis on the impact of the organizational capabilities of the criminal investigation police upon organizational concentration that it suggest method that the criminal investigation police will make a contribution for maintaining a social order.
