The Implementation of eCRM Solution for Design Development (디자인개발을 위한 eCRM솔루션구현)

  • These days information technology and internet have made startling progress. In these developing environments, the strategy or marketing based on existing off-line is getting more difficult to accomplish the role of the improvement of business competitive power, and they are bringing out a lot of changes in information management and marketing performance method about consumers due to digital networking between companies and consumers. These developments and changes make many varieties in the way of design studying methodology. Therefore, in this study, considering the aspects of design, society and environment, after I developed the consumer response framework about products design which is argued by Bloch(1995) ; distinct relationship model among preference degree- design image adjective - design factors, we established design information abstraction solution combined with the interaction based on IT as eCRM in real time. This suggested solutions will provide product designers with good information in finding the design factors which consumers prefer.

  • The tendency of the current times require education to focus on convergence, and the same applies to the essence of ceramics and design base imagination and creativity. For effective integration, a wide range of experimentations is required both in terms of academic and methodic approaches. This study analyzes the [TeamTeam Class] curriculum, converging ceramics with design initiated in the second semester (autumn semester) of 2020. Through reference materials on ceramics and design convergence education, it was possible to classify the following 5 categories: Subject, Method, Management, space and communication. The aim of the study is to find resolutions to overcome existing issues and problems in search of more effective methods. Although this study is based on convergence education, [TeamTeam Class] at Kookmin University, I hope to extend it further to also consider education after COVID-19.

  • The purpose of study is to know how a tendency of organic design have become in mordern architecture-from 20C. architecture to current architecture. In particular, I want to find it out in digital architecture-one of current architecture. To do this, first, I research concept, categories, characteristics of organic design in mordern architecture. Second, I observe theoretical background and analyze design characteristics of digital architecture. Finally, I recognize form of digital architecture have a side of a tendency of organic design.

  • The austere standard for industrial design and the machine aesthetic reinforced modernism and lasted more than a half century. Pop art and Pop design movements, which were opposite of the elite culture, began to appear as anti-modernism in the late 1950s. With the development of technology, the movements helped to establish humanism design style that reflected the life style of young generation and their culture. From the 1960s. it was a try in order to fulfill psychologically users' needs beyond tasks for physical considerations. The efforts appeared as a various appearance in different contexts. It could settle down on industrial design, based on humanism both from the physical and psychological points ol views, through anti-modernism in the 1960s, commercialism, consumerism and hi-tech in the 1970s, and postmodernism in the 1980s. The design, as a specific style in industrial design, delivers both physical and psychological satisfaction to consumers by using a mixture of human emotions with high technology. Accordingly, this study is to find out and to define the design style that was applied by human emotion and sensibility in design history from the 1960s to the 1980s. It will be underpinnings for the next research about how the design style has developed nowadays.

  • The Capstone design, has become one of the most important topics in engineering education. The Capstone Design a course with a different format from the traditional form of education and, by integrating the training learned in the course of expertise. Through it, you will learn how to analyze and design solutions to possible problems arising from industry. It can improve the practical skills required in the industry. The students can participate in the educational process according to the pre-prepared curriculum, rather than passively receiving the education in the form of an active. In this paper, we check the operating status for the Capstone Design Education. The future, through the satisfaction evaluation model Capstone Design Capstone Design effective management plan is presented.

Design-Based Learning for Computational Thinking (Computational Thinking 향상을 위한 디자인기반 학습)

  • In this paper, we studied a design-based learning for Computational Thinking in Computational Literacy. The design-based learning for computational thinking in computational literacy education started from a MIT media laboratory in 2011. We revised the design-based learning and applied it to educational field. We considered educational strategies and derived the implications, after teaching fourth grade gifted students. Moreover we conducted and analyzed a questionnaire survey, observations and interviews. As the result, the design-based learning in computational literacy is effective for creative computational thinking that students create their ideas and make a meaningful artifacts from it. We expect that this study provides the basic data to apply a design-based learning for computational thinking to Computer education.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop Korean-style tractors of international comp etitive advantage which satisfy consumers' needs based on the research of large size ones. The overall process of this study is to generate appropriate design process and to apply quantitative analysis method to each steps of it and finally to suggest objective product design development system. For this, we firstly selected important trac -tor design concepts from the analysis of current market and consumer perception, next did conjoint analysis with the extract -ed design attributes and attribute levels. Finally, we decided preferred designs of ea -ch segments based on conjoint analysis. Here we selected only one most preferred tractor design of all due to narrow domest -ic market situation. This study may contribute to the customer oriented design development with the appli cation to many other fields of design. Also, it may contribute to all design related not only academic fields but to practitional fields.

  • In 21st century, with the rapid development of Information technologies, a new form of postgraduate courses on multimedia has emerged. The curriculum of that course is consisted of a combination of design related fields and computer science. In this thesis, I analyzed problems of design education come from multimedia departments of 2-year colleges. This form of departments result in the reduction of design related courses and that is also reduction of basic design rather than multimedia. But, for the desirable multimedia design education, the functional aspects of multimedia must be harmonized with the artistic aspects. For these reason, I developed a course of study on multimedia design. It consists of theoretical studies about design principles, actual training on flash application, and individual projects accomplishments. And on the basis of this results, case studies of 3 subjects were done in a semester.

  • In general, users of design software such as Photoshop, search for information online when they want to obtain related knowledge. However, it is very difficult to find the exact information they want about designs because available knowledge sharing systems are very broad in what they manage, and it is rare that such systems would provide any design-specific Q&A or exchange of information functionality. In the paper we development a video based system for sharing design knowledge that supplies Q&A, lecture, knowledge trade function etc. utilizing multimedia like text, image and video reflecting the characteristics of design knowledge. The system are expected to contribute to the competitiveness of products through sharing design knowledge. In the near future the system will need to expand to a framework that can be shared with a variety of knowledge, as well as design knowledge.
