한국 환경농업의 성공적 정착을 위한 정책적 및 기술적 접근과제 (Technical and Political Approaches for Successful Settling of the Environmental Agriculture System in Korea)

  • This study aims to point out the basic strategy of agrotechnical and -political approaches toward successful settling for the environmental agriculture system in Korea. Although environmental agriculture & forestry strategy toward the 21st century and it's action program were released in 1996, some scientist from environmental agriculture and organic agriculture still argue on the errors of it's strategy and action program in terms of environmental sound functions. Especially it's strategy and action program of government did not focus the reduction of fertilizer and pesticide as the matters of weight and importance to reduction of fertilizer and pesticide as the matters of weight and importance to realize an environmental sound agriculture system. And korean organic agriculture gets a point in dispute, because 1) they do not practice of Basic Standard of IFOAM and FAO/WHO Codex draft, and 2) organic farming is defined quite differently from internationally recognized core aspects of organic agriculture. Organic farming, in Korea, is taken to mean the replacement of chemical fertilizer by organic manure and avoidance of agricultural chemicals. In the paper it is discussed the necessity, purpose, effect and consequence of basic standard for korean organic agriculture. The reformation of the certification system and t he direct payment system in environmental agriculture & forestry strategy toward the 21st century and it's action program by government, and on the need of the teaching program and curriculum in high education institution, the breeding program of resistant cultivars, the soil testing for optimum fertilization strategy, the nutrient management program, the declaration for 2020 environemntal agriculture are also discussed.

친환경농업을 위한 21세기 농촌형 "생태마을"의 국제적 동향 (International Movement on Rural Ice-village for 21st Century for an Environmentally Benign Agriculture)

  • For the development of Eco-village in Korean rural area, it was focussed to introduce the rural style which has been developed intensively in European countries such as Denmark, England and Germany. As the main concept for Eco-village it was explained briefly in the paper on the renewable energy(wind power park, bio-mass and solar energy collector and heating system), eco-architecture, methane gas device, living machine(wastewater treatment facility) and organic farming. It was also discussed how important the basic standard and guidelines for organic agriculture to run Eco-village environmentally soundly as a whole system and why it is so much essential for the system. For this reason major principles of international applicable standard for organically grown foods by FAO/WHO Codex alimentarius was also shortly described. In the paper the Eco-village concept was considered as a suitable model for Environmental Agriculture Districts Project which Korean government is going to establish at rural area in the near future. In conclusion it was suggested that the positive participation of organic farmers, enthusiastic engagement of inhabitants and support strategy of government/NGO groups might play very important role for successful management of Eco-village ecologically benign and economically sustainable after establishment.

벼 중만생 다수 고품질 복합내병성 신품종 "온누리" (A New Rice Cultivar, "Onnuri" with A Medium-Late Maturity, High Yielding, High Grain Quality and Multiple Disease Resistance)

  • '온누리' 품종은 작물과학원 호남농업연구소에서 2005년도에 육성한 중만생 고품질 복합내병성 품종으로 주요특성과 수량성을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. '온누리'는 남서해안지, 호남평야지, 중북부내륙지 및 남부중산간지 보통기 표준재배에서 평균 출수기가 8월 12일로 '남평벼'보다 3일 빠른 중만생종이다. 2. 주당수수는 '남평벼'와 비슷하나 수당립수는 많고 등숙 비율은 낮으며 현미천립중은 '남평벼'보다 무거운 편이다 3. 성숙기 하엽노화가 늦고 수발아는 '남평벼'보다 높은 편이다. 춘천 내냉성 검정 결과 '남평벼'에 비해 유묘기 내냉성 및 출수지연일수는 비슷하나 내냉성 임실율은 높았다. 4. 잎도열병에 중도저항성을 보이며 흰잎마름병($K_1{\sim}K_3$), 줄무늬잎마름병에는 저항성이나 오갈병과 검은줄오갈병에는 약하다. 5. 심복백은 거의 없고 '남평벼' 수준으로 맑고 투명하다. 아밀로스함량은 '남평벼'와 비슷하나 단백질함량이 낮고 밥맛이 매우 양호하다. 6. 쌀수량은 보통기 표준재배에서 5.94 MT/ha로 '남평벼'보다 9% 증수 되었으며 이모작재배에서는 5.17 MT/ha, 만식재배에서 5.48 MT/ha로 각각 '남평벼'보다 3, 12% 증수하였다.

  • China has a big population(22% of the world) and small cultivated land( only 7% of the world). Agriculture is very important and it has solved the problem of people's eating and wearing, and now it is creating favourable conditions for the state modernization and people's comparatively well-off. Farm mechanization plays an role in agriculture and has primarily developed. But the development is complicated since the big rural labour force and the small per capita cultivated land. The development and features of farm mechanization in China was summarized and the future task and its countermeasure was discussed in this paper.

  • It is desirable to use the renewable energy for the greenhouse heating in winter season, it makes possible not only to save fossil fuel and conserve green farm environment but also to promote the quality of agricultural products and reduce the agricultural production cost. In this study the heat pump system was developed to use the natural energy as thermal energy resource for the thermal environment control of the greenhouse.

  • The necessity of using land on slopes for agricultural production has been recognized all arable land resources in plains are decreased. Mechanization is one of the main factors determining the extent of cultivating slope lands and it must be considered as a means of increasing labor productivity. This article discussed some relevent aspects of farm mechanization on slopes. It includes the potential slope land resources which can be tilled for food and forage productions, design characteristics of agricultural machines for use in slope lands, and possible solutions of the problems to be encountered in the mechanization process.

  • In order to cope with change of Korean and global consumption trend, it is forecast that GAP cultivated ginseng & its processed products, Organic cultivated ginseng & its processed products, Sanyangsam & its processed products as well as existing white ginseng (products), red ginseng (products), Taekuksam (products), black ginseng (products) will enter into market and customer demands will create new consumption. Eventually, it is considered that the time has come for considering and carrying out together for raw material cultivation and production, research and development of processed products and export and distribution of domestic and overseas market.

  • The system is designed for the production and processing of feed, fertilizer, sugar , and grain. It can be used to weigh and transport automatically their pellet, power or nonstickness materials. In this system, we use discontinuous totalising automatic weighing instruments to weigh materials. It is a closed-cycle control system controlled by industrial controlling computer STD bus.   • 생태계에서 물질 순환에 있어서 교환과 저장의 가장 중요한 역할을 하는 토양은 급격한 농업생태계 내 유해 물질의 증가로 국민건강과 관련한 사회적 문제로 대두되었고 있다. 이러한 토양은 토양의 기본 특성인 생산성과 환경요인이 복합된 토질 (Soil Quality)이라는 개념으로 해석되고 있어 지속적으로 친환경농업을 유지하기 위한 토양 관리지표는 매우 중요하다. 토양은 분포 범위도 다양하고, 토질에 관여하는 여러 환경적 요건의 변화도 다양하므로 토질에 관여되는 각 변수들에 대한 환경 위해성을 고려한 토질 기준 설정이 필요하다. 그리고 친환경 농산물의 생산을 위한 토양 관리 방법과 기준은 여전히 미흡한 실정이므로 토질 개념화의 변수들을 파악하고 이에 따른 토양 관리 방법에 대한 연구가 필요하다.

  • 갈색양송이 수집균주를 단포자교배하여 육성한 신품종 '진향'의 주요특성은 다음과 같다. '진향'의 균사배양, 초발이 소요일수, 자실체 발생소요기간은 대조품종인 '다향'과 차이없었다. '진향'의 갓두께는 '다향' 보다 두꺼웠으며, 갓색은 진했다, '진향'자실체 경도와 개체중은 '다향'보다 다소 높았고, 수량은 14.1 kg/m2로 '다향'의 13.1 kg/m2에 비해 8% 증수되어 양송이 재배농가에 보급이 가능할 것으로 예상된다.
