The Development and Implementation of Ward Monitoring Service Using Bluetooth Low Energy Scanners for Infectious Disease Response (감염병 대응 비콘 스캐너 기반의 병실 모니터링 서비스 개발)

  • This study attempted to develop a beacon scanner based ward monitoring service in order to respond to the new paradigm of medical environment which is trying to introduce ICT technology as medical service to track and manage the spread path of large infectious diseases such as MERS. The study also included beacon hardware development, firmware development for the beacon low-power bluetooth 4.0, and server and web-based dashboard UI development. Using these, we have developed a customized monitoring system that provides functions such as locating patients by location based service and monitoring based on web UI. It is possible to maximize the efficiency of offline hospital services and to value active infection control and patient safety by integrating online technology into the area where online technologies such as beacons are not properly integrated.

  • Purpose : This purpose of this study is to make a better public hospital patient room to reflect the views of the patient. Methods: Survey to examine patient experience on healing environment in public hospital have been conducted for the data collection. 229 open-ended answers have been analysed statistically by MS Excel program. Results : 1) If there is no toilet space in the six-patient room, installation of toilet in the patient room is necessary. 2) The most Frequently used patient furnitures are necessary to accomodate the patients needs. Depending on the patient condition, installation of a portable or fixed the room furniture for the convenience to the using furniture. 3) According to the flow of modern times, wireless internet access is required to install of expand the space. Also be used to establish a regulations of internet space. 4) To create healing environment infection free environment should be provided. 5) Need for improvements of patient room for relatives of patient. It is necessary to secure a comfortable space to stay. 6) Separation is needed among the patients through therapeutic classification. Implication : In order to provide a better patient room environment, it is necessary to reflect the patient's opinion.

The effect of emotional experience on customer response in the Metaverse: Focusing on medical tourism services (메타버스에서의 정서적 경험이 고객반응에 미치는 효과: 의료관광서비스를 중심으로)

  • The Metaverse as a combination of physical and digital space, provides many consumers with a different process of search, evaluation, consumption, and disposal than before, based on hyper-connected and hyper-realistic services. Therefore, it is necessary to examine what kind of sensory experiences customers feel when performing various activities in the Metaverse and how these experiences affect customers' behavioral responses. This study measured the temporal and emotional experience of the Metaverse service environment felt during the Metaverse experience journey of customers experiencing medical tourism services. The results of the study showed that the emotional experience through Metaverse had a more positive impact on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty as the intensity of the Metaverse experience deepened. In particular, it was confirmed that the emotional experience at the end of the Metaverse service had a positive influence on repurchase behavior. These results show that, just as in the real world, customer experience in the Metaverse can provide important insight into understanding customers' post purchase behavior and how service providers can develop and implement effective customer experience strategies in the Metaverse environment.

  • Recently, augmented reality (AR) technology has been widely used in a variety of fields such as defense, medical, education, and entertainment. In the augmented reality environment, a user can interact a virtual object by the user 's specific behaviors. Also, it is necessary to use a technique to automatically interacts among the generated virtual objects. In this paper, we propose an authoring model to apply augmented reality environments based on quantum computing inspired entanglement and overlapping phenomenon. For example, it is possible to allow the user to automatically increase and decrease the number of the object with the characteristics of the virtual object without user intervention. As a tested platform for this purpose, this paper provide an augmented reality eco-system environment with automatic interaction among virtual animals.

  • Purpose: Many researches have clearly begun to address the relationship between people and their physical environments. These represent that children experience traditional hospital environments as unpleasant and scary. More specifically, children in hospitals face many psychological and emotional challenges: isolation, painful procedures, separation from family members, all in unfamiliar settings. For this reason, some have argued that the children's experiences within hospital environments can lead to poorer health outcomes. This study has been started in order to provide basic informations for the planning of Healing rest space in pediatric ward. Methods: Literature reviewes and field surveys to rest space at pediatric ward in Korea and foreign country have been conducted for the data collection. Results: The result of this study can be summarized into eight environment factor for healing rest space in pediatric ward: family, noise, safe, choice opportunity, light, privacy, social support and distract from disease or death. Implications: In the rest space in pediatric ward, it is necessary to consider healing rest space for promoting healing from disease and normal developing of children.

  • 최근 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스를 이용한 시간과 공간의 제약 없이 각종 의료서비스와 건강관리를 제공받는 유비쿼터스 헬스케어에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 산업은 특성상 단일 제품이나 서비스로만 존재하지 않고, 의료정보, 장비, 소프트웨어, 네트워크, 전자상거래 등의 보건 의료를 구성하는 모든 산업이 IT에 기반 하여 집약된 새로운 산업분야이다. 이러한 산업 특성상 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스는 다양한 기술들을 이용하기 때문에 이들을 서비스의 개발, 이용 단계에서 통합된 환경을 제공받아 이용하는 것이 효과적이다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스 이용을 위한 서비스 시스템 아키텍쳐를 제안하고, 제안된 시스템에서 이용할 수 있는 서비스들을 개발하기 위한 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스 개발 Framework을 설계한다. 제안된 시스템 아키텍쳐와 개발 Framework을 이용하면 헬스케어 서비스 이용자에게 적절한 인터페이스의 제공과 질환에 대한 추적 관찰, 증상의 판단, 진료 지원, 건강관리, 외부 기관과의 정보 교환 등의 서비스를 개발할 수 있다.

  • When unapproved users access to healthcare system and use medical information for other malicious purposes, it could severely threaten important information related to patients' life, because in ubiquitous environment healthcare service makes patient's various examination results, medical records or most information of a patient into data. Therefore, to solve these problems, we design RBAC(Role Based Access Control) for U-healthcare that can access control with location, time and context-awareness information like status information of user and protect patient's privacy. With implementation of the proposed model, we verify effectiveness of the access control model for healthcare in ubiquitous environment.

  • The WBAN technology means a short distance wireless network which provides each device's interactive communication by connecting devices inside and outside of body located within 3 meters. Standardization on the physical layer, data link layer, network layer and application layer is in progress by IEEE 802.15.6 TG BAN. It is necessary to develop the WBAN core technology that sensor node device, WBAN middleware and WBAN application service for WBAN environment. In this paper we designed the medical message structure and implemented medical application for purpose of vital information reliability. The message structure was proposed for WBAN environment and application can be check biometric information from BN on smart device through WBAN gateway.

  • The major objective of the most of enterprises including construction firms is to profit earning. To achieve it, a number of enterprises endeavor and improve themselves to adapt to the change and development on enterprise environment. Therefore, this study carries out CRM activity for the apartment house supplier in order to improve the housing satisfaction of apartment house residents. This study also aims to provide technical information to establish the supply strategy of apartment in Korea and to contribute to the related industry.
