In the process of presenting the additional criteria, ISST, developed to evaluate teachers' capacity of applying information, suggests the criteria without considering teacher's own task. Information Ethics and Security Model is made up of two parts. In one part, it deals with four areas concerning with Information Ethics evaluation to measure the sensibility of Information Ethics of Information Teacher In another part, it is divided Information Security Evaluation into three areas which estimate technical method to secure the information system tying in the environment of information-oriented education.

The curriculum for teacher ICT in-service training has several problems in terms of running and managing training content. The majority part of the program consist of teaming software application manual. Additionally, the program is not organized and some contents overlap. Furthermore teachers are not obliged to participate in training. Especially, it needs to be revised because it is many difference between revised ICT curriculum and 'ICT skill standard for teacher(ISST)'. This study investigates the current curriculum for teacher ICT in-service training, analyzes problems in running and managing training content, and suggests need for revising the curriculum for teacher ICT in-service training.

Teachers should actively maintain and improve their ICT competency in today's ever changing information society. A standardized system should now be developed to assist educators when choosing courses to improve their ICT competency. Previous ICT competency studies have only measured one's current ICT abilities rather than analyzing the skills necessary for educators to be successful in the educational system. This study developed an assessment tool to measure the ICT competency levels of CEOs who have the potential to be the decision makers in ICT education. In order to accomplish this, the jobs, duties, and tasks of educational CEOs were analyzed against the ICT Skills Standards for Teachers to determine which ICT skills are required by educational CEOs. Sixty-three questions were extracted from this analysis, guiding educational CEOs in the determination of their own ICT skills level.

While great efforts are being exerted on the reform of teacher training to provide integrated use of ICT in a teaching-learning process with educational informatization, it is still indicated that a teachers' training school fails to prepare leachers for incorporating information Communication and Technology (ICT) properly into an instructional process. Based on this awareness, this study aims at examining and analyzing the ability level of In utilization training for preservice teachers and thus at providing basic data to perform ICT utilization teaching-learning according to the seventh curriculum in a school. For this purpose, a survey was conducted with preservice teachers (seniors) in a college of education, Kongju National University and the collected data were analyzed using a Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) 12.0 program.

This study attempted to examine the phenomenon of information society in education by exploring pre-service teachers' use of technology. Pre-service teachers from the USA and Korea participated in the study. Surveys and interviews were conducted to collect the data. The NET and ISST which are the national educational technology standards for each country were used as survey instruments. Focused interviews were conducted with 10 participants after analyzing the data for collecting more information. Based on the study results, technology is not deeply infused into education yet and the degrees of technology infusion were different in two countries. The participating pre-service teachers were not quite confident in their abilities to integrate technology into their lessons.
