국내 연안 여객선 관련 종사자들에 대한 보안의식에 대한 설문조사를 통하여 보안환경과 여객선의 보안취약성 을 분석하였다. 이러한 연안 여객선의 보안위협에 능동적인 예방과 체계적인 대응시스템 구축을 목적으로 연안 여객 선 보안강화 프로그램을 제안하였다.

미국에서 발생한 항공기 테러 사건이후 해상의 보안위험성이 높게 인식되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내 해상범죄 데이터를 바탕으로 해상보안위험의 현황을 파악하고 특성을 분석하였다. 또한, 해상보안위협을 예방하고 효율적으로 대처하기 위한 대응 방안을 제안하였다.

The supply chain security programs are designed to prevent terrorist attacks on world transit system, and to help protect the passengers and workers who use these systems on a daily basis. as evidenced by the train bombings in London and Madrid in recent years, the threats to America's transit systems are real. After 9 11 terrors in 2001, security problem is appearing to every nations and international organizations main pending issue than any problem and various countermeasure is prepared. Security is the major issue in international trade, with significant potential costs and economic impact. So, We need to ensure that supply chain security does not become a new non-tariffs barrier. The aim of this study is to examine the international maritime and aviation law on the supply chain security. Also I review the supply chain security in U.S. and other countries.

To improve maritime security and enhance international shipping commerce within US ports in addition to ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security Code), the TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) program is working on the maritime field from the October 15, 2008 in the United States. In this paper, the program is reviewed and investigated in terms of goal, benefit, solution, and related legislation so forth In addition, other maritime security programs including MMD (Merchant Mariner Document), FAST (Free and Secure Trade), SIDA (Security Identification Display Areas). and Air Cargo security program was analyzed and compared in order to obtain relationship and difference with the program in terms of enrollment frequency, list and method of security check, and profile of each program As a result of this paper, the program is mostly to improve maritime security, protect individual privacy, and enhance commerce rather than other programs.

인터넷 서비스에 대한 수요가 양적 팽창의 단계에서 서비스 고품질화 및 다양화 등에 대한 질적 변화의 단계로 전환하는 환경 아래 국내외 통신 사업자들은 시장경쟁력을 가지고 차별화된 품질 서비스를 인터넷 사용자에게 직접 제공하는 등 다양한 노력을 추구하고 있다. 이와 같은 노력의 한 방안으로 각 통신 사업자 및 전문업체들은 품질측정 사이트를 제공함으로써 상품별 속도기상도, 지연시간 및 패킷손실률 등 다양한 품질 서비스를 가입자가 직접 느끼고, 만족하게 할 수 있도록 다양한 방법을 강구하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내외 통신 사업자 및 전문업체들의 품질측정 사이트들을 통해 제공되는 다양한 품질측정 서비스 활동들을 비교 및 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 추후 나아갈 품질측정 사이트의 서비스 항목들을 제시한다.

Despite the growth in Internet users, demand for multi-medial, large data files and resulting explosive growth in data traffic, there has been lack of investment in Middle-Mile, interconnection of various networks, resulting in bottleneck effect, which is acerbating. One strategy to overcome such network bottleneck is Content Delivery Network (CDN). CDN does not achieve efficient delivery of large file data through physical improvement/increase in network capacity, but by delivering large file contents, the cause of bottlenecks, from distributed servers. Since it is impracticable to physically improve networks capacity to accommodate the growth in internet traffic, CON, by strong CPs contents at cache servers deployed at major ISPs networks, is able to deliver requested contents to the requesting Web clients without the loss of data and long latency.

Due to the rapid increase In the Internet traffic volume, ISPs are faced with the definite need of the expansion of server capacity. In order to Provide prompt services for customers and still prevent excessive facility cost, it is critical to determine the optimum level of internet server capacity. The purpose of this Paper is to provide a simple but effective strategy on the expansion of servers capacity according to the increase in internet traffic. We model an internet server as an M/G/m/m queueing system and derive an efficient method to compute the loss probability which, In turn, Is used as a basis to determine proper server capacity. The Process of estimating the traffic parameter values at each server based on log data analysis is also given. All the procedures are numerically demonstrated through the process of analyzing actual log data collected from a game company.

The services such as real-time audio and video applications have become increasingly popular, especially over the Internet. Furthermore, as being commercialized those contents on the Internet require quality of service (QoS) support to ensure their performance. PPP is the best solution to of for those kinds of services. The reason why we want to employ PPP is this satisfies most of the requirements associated with remote connectivity to an NSP, such as IP address assignment, security, and AAA (authentication, authorization and accounting). In addition, since ISPs and corporations are familiar with PPP based connectivity, easy migration from existing ISP infrastructure is expected, if QoS is guaranteed. But so for PPP has had no field to ensure the quality of service. This article presents the solution by using some tunneling protocols and the draft [1] that proposed additional LCP option fields to negotiate QoS. To communicate each other, after negotiating those option fields, over various protocols such as ATM, Ethernet, and etc. tunneling protocol is used. Following sections will mention those briefly. And the service provision to offer the end-to-end communication with negotiated QoS will also be proposed.

As the faithful performance of ISPS of IMO, nowadays actually applicable an integrated safety and security system in and out of vessel should be organized in views of seafarers. Therefore, this paper is aimed to design a fundamental system for ship's integrated safety and security. The system of integrated grabbing will affect efficiently in any maritime field of material and human flow. Therefore this research will be expected to affect economical side by securing all the risk of maritime issues. In addition to the passenger ship and merchant vessel, it is applicable to other public and private vessels either. As a result of this paper, the system designed collecting various data through integrating the system including RFID reader, PIR sensor, and CMOS camera by putting an individual number into each unit that could be control at easy.
