Flash memory adoption in the mobile devices is increasing or vanous multimedia services such as audio, videos, and games. Although the traditional research issues such as out-place update, garbage collection, and wear-leveling are important, the performance, memory usage, and fast mount issues of flash memory file system are becoming much more important than ever because flash memory capacity is rapidly increasing. In this paper, we address the problems of the existing log-based flash memory file systems analytically and propose an efficient log-based file system, which produces higher performance, less memory usage and mount time than the existing log-based file systems. Our ideas are applied to a well-known log-based flash memory file system (YAFFS2) and the performance tests are conducted by comparing our prototype with YAFFS2. The experimental results show that our prototype achieves higher performance, less system memory usage, and faster mounting than YAFFS2, which is better than JFFS2.
System usage, the utilization of information technology(IT) by individuals, groups or organizations, is a core variable in IS research. Indeed, there is widespread agreement among researchers that system usage is the primary variable through which IT affects white collar performance because it is a requisite, albeit insufficient, for deriving the benefits of IT. Furthermore, system usage has a notable practical value for managers interested in evaluating the impact of IT. Despite the number of studies of targeted at explaining system usage, there are more areas which required for the verification of system usage. The purpose of this paper is to address, using the Technological Acceptance Model (TAM), the usage pattern of AHP toward the various task in group decision (GD). The result showed that, for the all of the task types, perceived usage (PU) has more effect than perceived ease-of-use(PEU) on the AHP usage. However, more researches are required to generalize the result of this study.

This paper describes the differences of the information system's success factors to improve the end-user's performance according to the job characteristics. A modified model of DeLone and McLean's IS success model is proposed with the two added variables of the top management concern and the IS department support. The model is validated using data collected from a field study of 3872 users on 3 Korean companies. ANOVA, correlation analysis, and stepwise regression are used to test research hypotheses. The results of the study indicate the following implications. First the top management concern and the IS department support have the significant relation with the system usage and the user satisfaction. Second, the system quality has an influence on the user satisfaction more than on the system usage. And the information quality has an influence on the system usage more than on the user satisfaction. Third, the system usage has more relations to the user's performance in the logistics function and R&D function. The user satisfaction has more relations to the user's performance in the sales and the A/S function. Therefore information system strategy to increase the user's performance must be differentiated according to job characteristics.
Growth in the device field is driven by various emerging devices, tablet PC are among the most recognizable. Tablet PC are mobile computing devices enabled with touch screens or pen inputs and provide the functions of various other devices. Firms are interested in utilization of tablet PC on task. Many of firms is considering accepting of tablet PC and is looking forward to performance of tablet PC. Thus, this study propose to discuss strategies for the usage of tablet PC from organizational needs perspective. The goal of this study is to identify factors influencing use of tablet PC and task performance. The results of this study showed that the proposed factors of organizational needs with a exception of Service Flexibility had a positive impact on perceived usefulness that then positively affected Usage of Tablet PC and Task Performance. In addition, perceived task-technology fit had a positive impact on perceived usefulness and Usage of Tablet PC. Finally, Innovative Culture of Organization as a moderating effect significantly influenced the relationship between perceived usefulness, perceived Task-Technology Fit and Usage of Tablet PC. This study is expected to be a reference for a subsequent study associated with Tablet PC at organizational viewpoints.

At the center of the repeating evolution of IT industry, there is mobile computing in the ubiquitous environment, and the increasing usage of smart phones contribute more to its growth. P corporation co-developed with Google and implemented smart work system called SWP for the purpose of 'communication and collaboration with co-workers' beyond the general goal of increasing productivity and comfort of employees. The primary objective of this study is to objectively analyze the influence of the effect factor from end user's perspective and user satisfaction on SWP usage, intention for continuous usage and individual performance. To accomplish this research purpose, this study established research models and hypothesis by collective review about information system success models, and tested the research hypotheses using the structural equation modeling technique by data collected from 320 SWP system users of P corporation. Variations for system satisfaction evaluation standard are 1)SW system usage 2) intention for continuous usage 3) individual performance, effect variations are 1) social factors 2) technical factors 3) combination of social and technical factors. Therefore, this study is about influence factors on success of SWP system and how the factors impact the outcome. The test results of this research model is summarized as follows. Firstly, system user's satisfaction had positive impact on all three; SWP system usage, intention for continuous usage and individual performance. Secondly, social factor 'SWP control system' and technical factor 'information quality' and 'system quality' had positive impact on SWP system user satisfaction, while social factor 'shared value' and technical factor 'service quality' did not have significant effect on user satisfaction. Shared value however, had interactive effect with 'information quality' and 'service quality'. This study is expected to contribute to spread of academic research on smart work system by suggesting a model that can show important factors for corporation while explaining the successful implementation of SWP and its continuous usage.
With the competitive pressure and the development of information and communication technology, many organizations have introduced various kinds of enterprise-wide systems like enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems as strategic tools for the purpose of improving organizational performance. Despite their promised strategic benefits, however, their implementation has suffered from a high failure rate and difficulty in realizing the anticipated benefits. Previous studies have indicated that one of the most critical failure reasons is the lack of knowledge sharing and utilization across organizations. As a consequence, many information systems (IS) researchers have paid attention to examining the effect of absorptive capacity closely associated with knowledge sharing and transferring on IS usage performance. ERP systems implementation involves changes not only in systems but also in processes and other social dimensions, which can be related to organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) requiring appropriate communications and interactions among organizational members. A lack of communications and interactions due to a lack of OCB might lead to weak absorptive capacity and thus negatively influence knowledge sharing across organizations, because OCB facilitates a successful collaboration among functional units and positively impacts individual's attitude toward radical organizational change. With this motivation, this study has two research objectives. First, it introduces and tests a theoretical model accounting for the relationships among performance of ERP system usage, absorptive capacity, and OCB. Second, it examines a mediating role of absorptive capacity between OCB and performance of EPR system usage. Theoretical and practical implications of the study ware discussed, along with its limitations.

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors influencing usage intention of u-Healthcare with voluntariness in long-term care hospitals. This model tests various theoretical research hypotheses relating to u-Healthcare, UTAUT theory and voluntariness. The proposed model is analyzed to target long-term care hospitals. Questionnaires have been collected during two months of 2010 and total 142 has been considered to be valid. Smart PLS (partial least square) 2.0 and SPSS 15.0 have been utilized for deriving the study results. The results of hypothesis testing are as follows. First, performance expectance, effort expectancy and social influence positively influence usage intention. Second, facilitation not influence usage intention. Still due to lack of technical infrastructure to promote conditions of use u-Healthcare in long-care hospitals for u-Healthcare system also considered to be not significantly affected. Finally, performance expectance to usage intention for low voluntariness group is significantly larger than those for high voluntariness group. In addition, social influence to usage intention for high voluntarines group is significantly larger than those for low voluntariness group.
Purpose - The purpose of this research is to test the impact of social connectedness and team psychological safety on the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance (job performance and practiced creativity), and moderating role of usage frequency of SNS. Research design, data, and methodology - A total of 299 questionnaires, completed by Chinese employees, were analyzed using SPSS 22 and AMOS 22. For the assessment of goodness of fit of the models, TLI, CFI, RMSEA indices were used. Result -The empirical results are as follows. First, social connectedness had a mediating effect in the relationship between transformational leadership and job performance, practiced creativity. Second, team psychological safety had a mediating effect in the relationship between transformational leadership and social connectedness, job performance, practiced creativity. Finally, the moderating effect of frequency of employee SNS usage were not significant. Conclusion -This study analyzes the mediating role of employee social connectedness and team psychological safety on the relationship between transformational leadership and job performance, practiced creativity, which is helpful for the expansion of related theories and provides practical implications for effective human resource management.

This paper aims to analyse the factors influencing the implementation of smart factories and their performance after implementation, using the grounded theory analysis method based on interview data. The research subjects were 21 companies that were selected by the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Group under the SME Technology Information Promotion Agency in 2020-2021 as the best case smart factory implementation companies, and introduced the intermediate stage 1 or above. A total of 87 concepts were generated as a result of the analysis. We were able to classify them into 16 detailed categories, and finally derived six broad categories. These six categories are "motivation for adoption", "adoption context", "adoption level", "technology adoption", "usage effect" and "management effect". As a result of the overall structure analysis, it was found that the adoption level of smart factory is determined by the adoption motivation, the IT technology experience affects the adoption level, the adoption level determines the usage and usage satisfaction, internal and external training affects the usage and usage satisfaction, and the performance or results obtained by the usage and usage are reduced defect rate, improved delivery rate and improved productivity. This study was able to derive detailed variables of environmental factors and technical characteristics that affect the adoption of smart factories, and explore the effects on the usage effects and management effects according to the level of adoption. Through this study, it is possible to suggest the direction of adoption according to the characteristics of SMEs that want to adopt smart factories.
Sales force automation (SFA) technologies are increasingly used to support customer relationship management (CRM) strategies. However, the popular press reports mixed results among companies incorporating SFA technologies and the previous studies have less interested in relationship quality between sales person and customer as an outcome of SFA. Actually the improved quality of the salesperson-customer relationship may be the most important outcome of SFA usage. This outcome is especially meaningful in today's marketplace given the increasing focus placed on customer retention and other customer related performance such as customer lifetime value. Therefore, this study seeks to further examine the impact of SFA usage within two different firms using SFA technologies to examine the impact of SFA usage on both customer relationship quality and sales performance. Additionally, the moderating roles of perceived managerial support and salesperson experience on the outcomes of SFA usage are examined. The results shows that direct effect of SFA usage on performance was not significant but highlight the mediating role of customer relationship quality in the SFA usage - sales performance relationship. Also, this research examines a number of moderating effects of both management supports for SFA and salesperson's sales work experience. The results indicate that management support has a significant direct influence on relationship quality and salesperson performance, but not a significant moderating effect on the relationship between SFA usage and the outcomes (relationship quality and performance). Thus moderating effects were not supported but find significant main effects. First of all, finding of this study suggest that a formula for successful SFA implementation must be one that highlights a SFA usage → relationship quality → sales performance sequence. This means when sales person use SFA they must build relationship with customer first then will return some long term performance. Second, the implications of not considering the introduction of big technology initiatives in terms of fit within the company's culture, strategy, structure, and environment may in many cases be quite noteworthy. Therefore, the launching of a new technology in the firm, such as SFA, may have a nonlinear impact upon overall firm performance, depending on the presence of other complimentary resources and capabilities. Finally the authors offer a number of implications for research and practice, and suggest directions for future SFA research that may further improve our understanding of this increasingly relevant topic.
