Different masking materials were evaluated for their ability to ameliorate odor of model poultry manure solution by assessing their effects on sensory pleasantness and odor intensity. Results indicated extracts from Eastern red cedar leaves, Loblolly pine needles', and commercial masking agents such as pine extract and odor neutralizer were effective (p<0.05) for masking odor of model poultry manure solution by increasing (p<0.05) pleasantness (82 and 86% increases in pleasantness using red cedar and pine needle extracts, respectively) and decreasing (p<0.05) odor intensity (odor intensity reduction by 66 and 76% using red cedar pine needle extract). The most odor-active compound in Loblolly pine needle extract was ${\alpha}$-terpineol (1,573.8 ug/g) which is responsible for aroma of pine trees (piney) and effective for ameliorating agricultural odors.

The purpose of this research is to study the effectiveness of applying Information technology to education, so-called education informatization. Education informatiantion consists of building information infrastructure, educational course operation and improvement of the teacher's ICT ( Information and Communication Technology) ability to consolidate and teach educational information development and diffusion. In this study, we've studied the effects of the use of IT on the improvement of student's class Participation and understanding level, We set the hypotheses and tested them. A method of teaching and learning using IT influences the degree of class participation. Educational courses and a method of teaching and learning have been proved to affect the understanding of a lecture. Also, we validated the educational effectiveness on the educational course and class teaching by setting WIS (Weighted least square) on the IT utilization time.

The database of metabolic fingerprints generated using the GIolog system of lactic acid bacteria isolated from kimchi, described by Lee et al. (8), was used for the identification of 75 Leuconostoc isolates. The test strains were isoalted using a selective isolation medium specific for the genus Leuconostoc and examined for their ability to oxidize carbon sources using the Biolog system. The results show that the 75 test strains were identified to the known Leuconostoce clusters. It is suggested that the Biolog system can be applied for rapid identification of lactic acid bacteria isolated from kimchi.

As electrical power system has become complicated and enlarged to cope with the increasing electric demand, it has to be expected that higher speed, higher reliability, higher function and higher arithmetic ability in protective relay should be realized. Therefore, in this papers, by hardware design and implementation used DMA controller that transfer blocks of data to any location in the memory map without interfering with CPU operation, CPU utilization is increased effectively, as a result it made possible to implement multi-function digital protective relay which has high trust and high function of protection as well as control and metering for power transformers using single processor(DSP).

Needs for the new technologies and cutting-edge Ultra Flowing Self-Compacting Concrete are emerging as the concrete structures are becoming bigger and more specialized recently. In North America and Europe, SCC, which has high resistance against flow ability and segregation, is being used as concrete material in applications such as precast and prestressed bridges, where reinforcing bars are overcrowdedly placed. In Korea, SCC has been utilized limitedly in building structures but its utilization should be expanded to engineering structures such as bridges. In this study, for the application in precast and prestressed bridges with overlycrowded reinforcing bars, USCC was mixed with admixtures to give a binary system and a ternary system according to the 1st grade rules by JSCE (Japan Society of Civil Engineers). Compressive strength and splitting tensile strength of the resulting USCCs were tested. Elastic modulus were compared with the values suggested in CEB-FIP code and ACI 318-05.

The purpose of this study is to implement web-based quality cost management system to measure the performance of quality improvement activities in the business firms. Developed WQCMS(Web-based Q-Cost Management System) have ability to collect and analyze quality data generated from various different departments in the inside or outside of the enterprise without any limitations, if end-users are able to access wide area network. It provides the capability to integrate quality information from database and to generate various easy analysis reports to management's needs using built-in analysis tool modules with real-time. The proposed system was developed using Microsoft's .Net technology, ASP.NET and MS-SQL Server 2000. By web-enabling Q-cost management system, the effectiveness of the system management and utilization was realized by easiness of information integration and economical efficiency.

In the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the foundation of software and hardware technologies through ICT, the technology to analyze the principles of information processing activities is the ability to implement programming. In this study, to improve the programming academic performance of electronics majors, firstly, we presented an effective teaching method in order to promote employment in the programming field by improving problem-solving skills and logical thinking skills in the programming field that electronics majors do not prefer. Secondly, we plan to promote intelligence informatization by converging intelligence information technology into the existing electronics industry by developing software utilization skills through programming curriculum that reflects the specificity and reality of electronics. Lastly, as computer programmers, we would like to expand creative talent education by developing learners' capabilities to cultivate smart talents who have both hardware and software capabilities.

Microalgae are attracting attention as a resource for the production of biofuels, food nutrients, biochemicals, and bioplastics. Among a wide range of sources of the biomass, microalgae have been highlighted due to relatively easy cultivation, ability to eliminate carbon dioxide, and low culturing cost. Despite the great potential of microalgal biomass as a biological material, the complexity and relatively expensive downstream processes have inhibited the commercial use of microalgae. In this study, we reviewed recent techniques for microalgal drying for the production of microalgal based products. As drying processes comprise the largest portion of microalgae processing cost, an efficient drying technique is key to the utilization of microalgal biomass.

NCS의 성공은 직업능력개발훈련 기관인증평가자의 역할과 역량에 달려 있다. 이 연구는 NCS기반 직업능력개발훈련 기관인증을 위한 평가자의 역할과 역량을 도출하는 데 목적이 있다. 델파이 기법을 적용하여 평가자의 구체적 역할을 다각적으로 탐색하고, 필요한 지식과 기술, 태도 그리고 특성을 도출하여 그 타당성을 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 교육훈련 전문가와 심사평가 전문가를 패널로 선정하여 3차에 걸친 델파이 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 평가자의 역할은 총 8개로 운영자, 조정 중재자, 협력자, 분석가, 검증가, 기관평가자, 기관컨설턴트, 학습자로 분류되었고, 각 역할에 따른 역량은 총 25개로 도출되었다. 지식 영역은 HRD 지식, NCS 지식, 직업능력개발훈련 지식, 훈련기관인증평가 지식의 총 4개의 역량이 포함되었다. 기술 영역은 갈등관리 능력, 대인관계 능력, 문서작성 능력, 문제해결 능력, 분석 능력, 사전준비 능력, 시간관리 능력, 의사결정 능력, 정보이해 활용 능력, 종합적사고 능력, 직업훈련기관에 대한 이해 능력, 커뮤니케이션 능력, 피드백 능력, 핵심파악 능력의 총 14개의 역량으로 구성되었다. 태도영역은 객관성 및 공정성, 서비스 마인드, 소명의식, 윤리의식, 자기개발, 책임감, 팀워크의 총 7개로 정리됐다. 이 연구의 결과로 도출된 역할과 역량은 평가자가 일정한 요건을 갖추어 공정하고 체계적으로 인증평가할 수 있도록 평가자 대상 교육프로그램을 설계하고 운영하는 데 유용할 것이다. 특히, 평가자의 경험과 역할에 따라 기초교육 및 향상 교육을 실시할 수 있도록 역량별 교육 프로그램을 모듈별로 설계하고, 지속적으로 평가자의 품질을 관리하는 데 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

Although shoes industry in Korea is superior in global competition in terms of material, parts, and developmental ability, it has declined due to the lack of design in consideration of OEM production and marketing ability. Shoes industry in Korea has aimed at making inroad to North American market centered with the United States, but it has not focused on Europe market that much. However, as Europe transformed into EU, which is a large economic community, European market is being considered as a great potential for Korean shoes industry, which we can never neglect of. So far, there have been researches of marketing strategic methods to make inroad to the United States and South-East Asian markets, but there has been almost no marketing approach to European shoes market. Therefore, in this study I prepare strategic marketing plans for Korean shoes enterprises to make inroads to European markets, so that they can enter the market successfully, and this is the purpose of this study. In case that Korean shoes industry makes inroads to European market, there are important terms to examine. The strategic terms for consideration to examine are as follows. First, shoes companies such as Nike and Adidas are aware of India. Turkey, and Rumania as new footholds for production, as they have accounted continuous wage claim and labor dispute. Especially Turkey and Rumania are expected to have much competitive strength in price, as they are expected countries for joining EU. Second, we need to shift our understanding of the importance of design for European shoes market. We should pay close attention to the fact that the role of leading companies is to design. Third, Germany, England, and Italy have global-level of specialize institutions and organizations for shoes education and have been succeeded in knowledge industrialization. Fourth, we should consider that the concepts for shoes are changing from innovation in production to in products. Fifth, we should develop specialized concept centered in individualized categories. Sixth, we should open up new markets actively by connecting large shopping centers and multi-shops. Seventh, we should look for the opportunities to expand market through the utilization of BIFOS. Lastly, we should expand our support for opening up markets and participating fairs in foreign countries.
