  • The current economic crisis is making new demands on manufacturing industry, in particular, in terms of the flexibility and efficiency of production processes. This requires production and administrative processes to be meshed with each other by means of IT systems to optimise the use and capacity utilisation of machines and lines but also to be able to respond rapidly to wrong developments in production and thus to minimise adverse impacts on the business. The future scenario of the "smart factory" represents the zenith of this development. The factory can be modified and expanded at will, combines all components from different manufacturers and enables them to take on context-related tasks autonomously. Integrated user interfaces will still be required at most for basic functionalities. The complex control operations will run wirelessly and ad hoc via mobile terminals such as PDAs or smartphones. The comnination of IoT, and Big Data optimisation is bringing about huge opportunities. these processes are not just limited to manufacturing, anywhere a supply chain environment exists can benefit from information provided by linked devices and access to big data to inform their decision support. Building a smart factory with smart assets at its core means reaching those desired new levels of productivity and efficiency. It means smart products that leverage advanced traceability, connectivity and intelligence. For businesses, it means being able to address the talent crunch through more autonomous. In a Smart Factory, machinery and equipment will have the ability to improve processes through self-optimization and autonomous decision-making.

마코위츠 포트폴리오 선정 모형을 기반으로 한 투자 알고리즘 개발 및 성과평가 : 미국 및 홍콩 주식시장을 중심으로 (Development and Evaluation of an Investment Algorithm Based on Markowitz's Portfolio Selection Model : Case Studies of the U.S. and the Hong Kong Stock Markets)

  • This paper develops an investment algorithm based on Markowitz's Portfolio Selection Theory, using historical stock return data, and empirically evaluates the performance of the proposed algorithm in the U.S. and the Hong Kong stock markets. The proposed investment algorithm is empirically tested with the 30 constituents of Dow Jones Industrial Average in the U.S. stock market, and the 30 constituents of Hang Seng Index in the Hong Kong stock market. During the 6-year investment period, starting on the first trading day of 2006 and ending on the last trading day of 2011, growth rates of 12.63% and 23.25% were observed for Dow Jones Industrial Average and Hang Seng Index, respectively, while the proposed investment algorithm achieved substantially higher cumulative returns of 35.7% in the U.S. stock market, and 150.62% in the Hong Kong stock market. When compared in terms of Sharpe ratio, Dow Jones Industrial Average and Hang Seng Index achieved 0.075 and 0.155 each, while the proposed investment algorithm showed superior performance, achieving 0.363 and 1.074 in the U.S. and Hong Kong stock markets, respectively. Further, performance in the U.S. stock market is shown to be less sensitive to an investor's risk preference, while aggressive performance goals are shown to achieve relatively higher performance in the Hong Kong stock market. In conclusion, this paper empirically demonstrates that an investment based on a mathematical model using objective historical stock return data for constructing optimal portfolios achieves outstanding performance, in terms of both cumulative returns and Sharpe ratios.

확률밀도함수 기반 유입하수 재현 및 활성슬러지공정 설계기법 개발 (Development of Application Method of Influent Wastewater Generation and Activated Sludge Process Design Based on Probability Density Function)

  • An important factor in determining the design and treatment efficiency of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) is the quantity and quality of influent. These detailed and accurate information is essential for process control, diagnosis and operation, as well as the basis in designing the plant, selecting the process and determining the optimal capacity of each bioreactor. Probabilistic models are used to predict the wastewater quantity and quality of WWTPs, which are widely used to improve the design and operation of WWTPs. In this study, the optimal probability distribution of time series influent data was derived for predicting water quantity and quality, and wastewater influent data were generated using the Monte Carlo simulation analysis. In addition, we estimated various alternatives for the improvement of bioreactor operations based on present operation condition using the generated influent data and activated sludge model, and suggested the alternative that can operate the most effectively. Thus, the influent quantity and quality are highly correlated with the actual operation data, so that the actual WWTPs influent characteristics were well reproduced. Using this will improve the operating conditions of WWTPs, and a proposed improvement plan for the current TMS (Tele Monitoring System) effluent quality standards can be made.

한국의 습지보호지역 관리계획 모델: 대암산 용늪 개방에 따른 보전 및 관리계획을 중심으로 (The Management Planning Model for Wetland Conservation Area in South Korea: Focused on Conservation and Management Planning According to Making Mt. Daeam's Yong-neup Opening to the Public)

  • The Yong-neup of Mt. Daeam, which was designated as Korea's National Monument No.246 in 1973, is a high moor, and it has been managed with the designation as an ecosystem conservation area, Ramsar wetlands, and wetland conservation area. With the closing of the officially announced 5-year period for 'No-Trespassing' on the ecosystem conservation area starting August, 2010, it becomes necessary to arrange a systematic management and conservation scheme in consideration of the access & use of the visitors and Yong-neup's potential change into land consequent on making it open to the public. This study thinks that in order to preserve the Yong-neup, it's necessary to prepare the conservation plan for the program operation for exterminating exotic species, development of replacement wetlands and nurseries, access limit through zone categorization, establishment of environment-monitoring system, institutional management support, and establishment of managing facilities, etc., and to make scientific approaches, such as survey on wetland ecosystem, establishment of inventories, wetland monitoring, and drawing up of wetland ecology maps, etc. In addition, it is required that there should be adequate considerations of restoration of slope faces, drains, artificial embankment, water-collecting wells, roads for military operations, and wild-boar-stricken areas, etc., and should be continuous and systematic management of Yong-neup through the wise use of residents' participation-style maintenance, organization of a consultative body, introduction of CEPA programs, and introduction of visiting facilities and alternative transportation system, etc.

가상훈련 콘텐츠 만족도 측정도구 개발 및 타당화 (Development and Validation of Virtual Training Content Satisfaction Measurement Tool)

  • 본 연구는 가상훈련 학습자의 가상훈련 콘텐츠 활용 만족도를 측정하는 도구 개발 및 타당화하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 K대학교 온라인평생교육원에서 2011년부터 2022년까지 가상훈련 만족도로 활용한 문항을 토대로 기초문항을 도출하였다. 이후, K대학교 온라인평생교육원 포털 STEP에 접근한 학습자를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 성실하게 응답한 총 491부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 최종 사용한 491부의 자료는 기초문항분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 확인적 요인분석 등의 방법으로 분석하였다. 첫째, 기초문항분석에서 평균 4점이상, 왜도 ±2, 첨도 ±4이상의 수용기준을 벗어난 문항은 없었다. 둘째, 탐색적 요인분석 실시 후 도출된 가상훈련 콘텐츠 만족도 하위요인별 상관계수는 r=.682 ~ .822(p<.01)로 나타나 양호하였다. 하위요인별 신뢰도 계수는 콘텐츠 내용 .849, 콘텐츠 활용 .922, 시스템 및 운영지원 .841, 활용지속의향 .920, 전체신뢰도는 .956로 매우 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 확인적 요인분석 결과, 구성개념도는 .842 ~ .926로 나타나 추천기준치인 .7보다 높았으며, 평균분산추출도 .640 ~ .796으로 나타나 추천기준치인 .5보다 높아 각각 구성개념에 대한 대표성을 갖고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 가상훈련 학습자의 콘텐츠 만족도 구인 타당성을 검증한 결과로 콘텐츠 내용, 콘텐츠 활용, 시스템 및 운영지원, 활용지속의향 등 4개 요인 모형이 도출되었다. 본 연구는 가상훈련 학습자의 콘텐츠 만족도 측정도구를 실증적으로 개발하여 준거 틀과 기준을 제공했다는데 의의가 있다.

데이컴 직무분석 기법을 이용한 수술실 간호사의 직무분석 (Job Description of the Nurses Who Work in Operating Room Using DACUM Technique)

  • Purpose: Developing a curriculum(DACUM) is a method of analyzing job focused competency, which is obtained from the data of an expert belonging to a certain career. In this study the DACUM method was used to analyze the jobs of operating room nurses. Method: Through the DACUM workshop which was arranged by two DACUM facillitators, a definition of the role of operating room nurses was developed and then duties and tasks of operating room nurses' were identified. For the workshop, a DACUM committee with 10 operating room nurses was organized. Finally, the duties and tasks which were identified were validated by 422 nurses for importance, difficulty and frequency. Results: Thirteen duties and 105 tasks were identified on the DACUM chart, where importance, difficulty, and frequency of tasks were represented by alphabet letters A, B, and C as higher degree of importance. The determinant coefficient(DC) showed that the most important duty was assisting with operations(DC=6.61), and the least, managing operating materials(DC=4.22). For tasks, the most important ones were assisting in orthostatic surgery(DC=7.60), and assisting in thoracic surgery(DC=7.38), and the least important making gauze ball(DC=2.39), and saving of operation site((DC=3.27). Conclusion: The results suggest a need to develop an education program using the DACUM chart as a basis for the development and as a clinical career ladder and for curriculum of operating room nursing.

초기단계 함정설계시 설계영역탐색의 효과적 적용 (Effective Application of Design Space Exploration in the Very Early Naval Ship Design)

  • The early-phase naval ship design demands requirements synthesis rather than design synthesis, which conducts engineering design for several domains on a detailed level. Requirements synthesis focuses on creating a balanced set of required operational capabilities satisfying user's needs and concept of operations. Requirements are evolved from capability based languages to function based language by statistical exploration and engineering design which are derived in the following order: concept alternative, concept baseline, initial baseline and functional baseline. The early-phase naval ship design process can be divided into three passes: concept definition, concept exploration and concept development. Main activities and outcomes in each pass are shortly presented. Concept definition is the first important step that produces a concept baseline through extensive design space exploration promptly. Design space exploration applies a statistical approach to explore design trends of existing ships and produce feasible design range corresponding to concept alternative. It further helps naval systems engineers and operational researchers by inducing useful responses to user and stakeholders' questions at a sufficient degree of confidence and success in the very early ship design. The focus of this paper is on the flow of design space exploration, and its application to a high-speed patrol craft. 보현산천문대 1.8 m 망원경 제어시스템 현황 및 개선방안 (THE STATUS AND IMPROVEMENT PLAN OF 1.8 m TELESCOPE CONTROL SYSTEM AT BOAO)

  • We analyzed the current status of the telescope control system (TCS2) of the 1.8 m telescope in Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory (BOAO), and suggest a new TCS (TCS3) for the long term development of BOAO. The TCS2 was constructed in 1998 to replace the TCS1 which was installed with the telescope itself at the commencement of BOAO. One of the important parts of TCS is PMAC (Programmable Multi-Axis Controller), which is a general-purpose multi-axis motion controller. PMAC provides the direct interactive communication environment permitting users to command the controller directly with simple operations. This makes the setup, debugging, and diagnostics very easy. The TCS2 was operated stable for a long time, but the hardware and TCS computers have been deteriorated and are out of date now. The new TCS3 needs to be constructed based on a modern computer system. And functions such as pre-calculations of telescope limiting position, interworking with virtual observatory tools, and using GUI, etc should be added. Construction of the TCS3 will be a step creating a better observation environment for the Korean astronomical society.

산업보안관리사 자격제도 발전 방안에 대한 고찰 (The Study of a Development Plan of the Industrial Security Expert System)

  • 산업보안관리사는 현재 민간자격이지만 향후 국가자격화 되어 현장에서 적절하게 활용 가능한 인력인지 여부에 대하여 국가적으로 공신력이 부여될 필요가 있다. 공신력 확보를 위한 운용방안 중 고려할 수 있는 것이 등급제이다. 현재와 같이 단일등급제로 운용할 경우 양적 확산에 초점을 두게 될 가능성이 있다. 따라서 질적 혁신 차원에서 산업보안관리사의 등급제도 활용도를 장기적인 관점에서 검토하여 등급을 구분할 필요가 있다. 한편, 산업보안 현장 실무자의 산업보안관리사 자격시험에 응시할 수 있는 요건, 산업보안 실무연수 과정 이수, 민간자격을 이미 취득한 인력의 경우 국가자격 승계문제도 중요한 고려 사항중 하나이다. 산업보안관리사제도가 활성화 되기 위해서는 국가자격화를 통한 공신력 확보뿐만 아니라 산업보안관리사의 인력의 수요창출이 필요하다. 현재 증가하는 산업기술유출에 대한 우려에도 불구하고 우리기업 등의 보안관리체계의 미비 등 산업보안대응 역량이 상당히 취약한 실정임을 고려할 때, 산업기술 보호에 특화된 산업보안관리체계에 대한 인증을 기존의 정보보호관리체계인증과 별개로 도입할 필요성이 있다. 산업보안 관리체제 인증제도와 산업보안관리사 자격제도가 연동될 때 국가핵심기술 등을 다루는 기업체, 연구기관 등의 산업보안이 실질적으로 이루어져 시너지 효과가 발생할 것이다.

발·송전설비 통합성을 고려한 전력계통계획 전산모형 프로그램 개발 (Development of Transmission Expansion Planning Optimization Software Considering Integration of Generation and Transmission Facilities)

  • 본 논문에서 제안하는 전력계통계획 방법론은 계통계획이 신규 자원의 수익에 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 인식 하에 발전 및 송전 투자 결정에 관한 상호 작용을 반영하고, 이것으로 인하여 설비 투자자 및 전력계통계획자의 목적을 동시에 고려할 수 있게 된다. 이러한 관점에서 본 논문은 혼합정수계획 모형에 기초한 전력계통계획 전산모형 프로그램을 개발하고자 한다. 이 소프트웨어는 설비예비율, 발전원별 비율,순동예비력 양, 에너지 및 연료제약 조건, 송전선로 사고 및 손실, 파이 분기 등의 기술적 제약조건을 만족하면서 신규 발전설비, 송전선로, 변전소의 용량뿐만 아니라 건설 시기와 장소를 결정하도록 설계되어 있다. 최종적으로 간단한 Garver 계통을 통하여 본 논문에서 제안된 전산모형 프로그램의 정확성 및 효율성을 검증하고자 한다.
