This study is to analyze the impact of the absorptive capacity and information technology (IT) on firms' innovation. The absorptive capacity is measured by R&D investment intensity, R&D manpower concentration, and the firm's size. We try to see the interaction effects between the absorptive capacity and IT usage on firms' innovation. We also look into the differences of the impacts between manufacturing industry and service industry as well as IT industry and service industry. We found that IT and R&D intensity have stronger interaction effect on innovation in manufacturing industry than in service industry, which shows that IT plays a more important role in the accumulation of knowledge in R&D activity in manufacturing industry. Contrarily, in service industry, IT and R&D manpower concentration has significant interaction effects on innovation. This means that the role of IT in service industry is sharing knowledge and experiences among employees in service industry. The interaction effect between firm's size and IT has positive impact on innovation in manufacturing industry, while it has negative impact on innovation in service industry. Finally, we found that the interaction effect is statistically significant in non-IT industry, while it is not statistically significant in IT industry.

지리정보시스템(Geographic Information System : GIS)은 지리적으로 참조 가능한 소프트웨어 시스템을 말한다. 이러한 지리정보시스템의 주요 특징 중 지리정보의 표현이라는 문제를 중심으로 살펴볼 때 기존의 2차원적인 표현에서 3차원적인 표현으로의 연구개발이 활발하게 진행되고 있으나, 방대한 양의 지리정보를 빠르고 효율적으로 처리하는데 많은 문제가 있어, 본 논문에서는 GIS의 효율적인 장면 렌더링을 위해서 영상기반 모델링과 렌더링을 위해 제안된 LDI(Layered Depth Images)를 이용하여 3차원의 GIS를 렌더링 하고자 한다. 실측기반 방식으로부터 3차원의 지형데이터를 획득하고, 이렇게 획득된 3차원의 지형 데이터는 깊이 정보를 가지고 있는데, 이러한 깊이 정보를 기반으로 하여 LDI를 생성하였다. 또한 전통적인 모델링 방식인 3DS-Max를 이용하여 LDI를 생성하였다. 이렇게 획득된 LDI 정보를 이용하여 보다 효율적인 3차원의 GIS 렌더링을 할 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to comprehend the cognition of Korean tradition and the required basic educational contents among interior architects. The survey had been made 277 designers and the major findings of this study are as follows. First. It is revealed that only a half of interior architect have been taught about Korean tradition in university and their level of knowledge is entry level. Therefore it is found that the education in university on the Korean tradition was not sufficient enough Second, it is believed that one ideal way of expressing Korean tradition is re-interpreting traditional motive with modern views and another way is to express abstractly about Korean traditional space arrangement, composition and space concept. It is found that substantial knowledge and information is required to express Korean tradition effectively. Third. it is found that a lot of interior architect has faced difficulties in carrying out projects because of not having sufficient knowledge related to Korean tradition. Therefore it is recommended to educate basic theory about Korean tradition first and then reinforce the program by including field trip In university curriculum. Fourth. it is necessary to re-educate to current Interior architect because of lacking knowledge about Korean tradition. The recommended area in priority order is traditional Interior space, traditional architecture, traditional color, traditional pattern and traditional furniture

Recently, various geographic information systems have been used based on spatial information of geographic information systems. Accordingly, it is essential to produce a large-scale map as a small-scale map for various uses of spatial information. However, maps currently being produced have inconsistencies between data due to production timing and limitations in expression, and productivity efficiency is greatly reduced due to errors in products or overlapping processes. In order to improve this, various efforts are being made, such as publishing research and reports for automating domestic mapping, but because there is no specific result, it relies on editors to make maps. This is mainly done by hand, so the time required for mapping is excessive, and quality control for each producer is different. In order to solve these problems, technology that can be automatically produced through computer programs is needed. Research has been conducted to apply the rule base to geometric generalization. The algorithm tolerance setting applied to rule-based modeling is a factor that greatly affects the result, and the level of the result changes accordingly. In this paper, we tried to study the effectiveness of mapping according to tolerance setting. To this end, the utility was verified by comparing it with a manually produced map. In addition, the original data and reduction rate were analyzed by applying generalization algorithms and tolerance values. Although there are some differences by region, it was confirmed that the complexity decreased on average. Through this, it is expected to contribute to the use of spatial information-based services by improving tolerances suitable for small-scale mapping regulations in order to secure spatial information data that guarantees consistency and accuracy.

현재 우리나라의 철골공사에서 생산성은 철골부재의 중량으로 되어있다. 그러나 철골공사의 생산성은 부재의 중량보다는 피스 수에 더 많은 영향을 받는다. 이에 따라 새로운 철골공사의 생산지수가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 철골공사의 문제점을 분석하고 문제점을 개선할 수 있는 새로운 생산지수를 개발하고자 한다. 이를 통해 전 과정을 통일된 수치화하고 이 수치를 관리함에 따라 복잡한 관리를 보다 효과적으로 통합관리 할 수 있도록 한다.

This study is purposed to setting up leisure facilities for provincial teenagers. And this center will be constructed facilities considering young boys and girls's need in geochang-gun. It is carried out those as follows;(1) it is, first of all, examined architectural factors concerned about an demand of young boys and girls in geochang-gun;(2) it is, secondly, established spaces and programs that it is analyzed an alternative proposal considering merits and faults;(3) it is, finally, suggested facilities of It's. The result of study, A development planning of "geochang-gun leisure cultural center" is suggested that it is induced to 'cultural building', 'physical exercise facilities' and 'a boarding house for students of the back regions'. It is, Ultimately, focused development of leisure facilities on demands and feelings of teenagers in a rural area.

The extent of absorption and transmitance of the light that passes through some material is changed as the wavelength of the light varies, and which makdes it possible to estimate characteristics of the material. Spectrometer is a measurement system that can analyze the characteristics of material by using this principle. Its application field is so wide that it can be applied to all the arease that are concerned with analyzing materials : biological, environmental, medical and chemical area etc. This study is focused on developing precision sine drive mechanism for grating monochromator which is the most important part of the spectrometers. It is designed to be simple in struicture. It is achieved to derive basic principles to manipu- late precision sine drive mechanism : it should be aligned with a condition that .beta. , the angle between grat- ing normal and grating rod should be the same as .gamma. , the one between moving nut's normal and sliding guide. And also, it's found that the mis-alignments of the grating and mirrors are not the main factor in guaranteeing the linearity of sine drive mechanism. Performance evaluation is achieved by a standard sample by comparing experimental results with standard values. It results in wavelength accuracy of .+-. 0.5nm and resolution of 1nm. Conclusively, it can be verified that the sine drive mechanism developed in this study is not only simple in structure, but also stable and excellent in performanes.

In order to meet competitive power, foodservice should aim to satisfy customers through distinguished quality and service as well as speciality and know-how. Especially, in coming 2000 year will be openned ASEM, 2001 will be the "Year to visit Korea", 2002 will be openned Korea-Japan Soccer World Cup, with these event as a momentum the domestic foodservice industry would be continuously increased and improved. Foodservice industry is the tertiary industry with the potentiality, tremendous popularity, premanancy and future-orient, it is gradually taking root as a basic industry after going through the industrialization. Furthermore, foodservice industry aim to satisfy customer based on quality, services, cleanliness, atmosphere, timing and value, besides, it is customer closeby service which to supply value and satisfaction through systemization, being manual, being technological renovation. Strategic management of foodservice industry is as following: Firstly, marketing strategy requires positing strategy to recongnize self-brand to the customer, thus requires to get hold how to take firm in customers′ mind. And then distingushed strategy requires. So somehow it is important to secure competitive in customers′ mind. Secondaryly, it requires strategy of competive advantegy. It is not to improve unique core competence of industry which is developed and studies for a long time but to pursuit diversfication based on core of industry Thirdly, it requires strategy of customer satisfaction. In these modern days it is important how much to satisfy customer, as it could be not expect continuous frowth and development without strategy of customer satisfaction. Therefore strategy of customer satisfaction is a necessary condition for the foodservice industry.
