IP reuse technology, for the sake of out-performance and the reduction of development period of IT-SoC is the most essential factor for the sound growth of SoC industry. As for this IP reuse technology, it is very important to decide the proper specification and the standardization of the requirement from the companies, as well as to develop our own domestic technological know-how which does not depend on import. In this study, we propose to analyze a security core IP with pure domestic technological know-how, mentioning an example from $CAST_{TM}$, which presently is an American company costing royalty.

This paper explains tile IP over SONET/SDH that becomes nowadays one of the compelling candidates for building tile next generation IP backbone networks. First we introduce the protocol stack and tile related protocols of IP over SONET/SDH and explain the new scrambling technique using 1＋X$^{43}$ scrambler since the legacy scrambler could be vulnerable by malicious users. And we compare tile IP over SONET/SDH with the IP over ATM that has long been a strong candidate for future IP backbone networks and we recommend that the optimal choice for the IP backbone should lie considered based on the merits and demerits of each technology.

The IP routing uses the longest-matching prefix to determine the destination. Fast lookup should be required for the high speed routing. We propose a modified LC-trie, called multiple LC-trie, which is suitable data structure for fast address-lookups in software implementation. To reduce the number of memory accesses, our scheme analyzes the distribution of IP address access pattern, and constructs multiple LC:-tries for frequently accessed IP addresses. Our experimental results show that our scheme can perform faster than the original LC-trie schemes.

기존의 유선 기반의 네트워크에서 무선 기반의 네트워크로 진화하는 현재의 흐름 속에서 서비스 및 망 자원의 유료화를 위해 무선 네트워크 기반 IP Accounting System에 대한 연구는 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 향후 무선망에서 중요한 위치를 차지하게 될 Mobile IP 기반 네트워크에서 망 자원 및 컨텐츠의 유료화를 실현시키기 위하여 IETF의 Mobile IP 표준화 동향 및 관련 표준 문서와 유선 네트워크 기반의 IP Accounting 시스템 구축 동향 및 핵심 기술, IP Accounting관련 표준화 기술 문서와 기술 동향 등을 연구 분석하였고, 그 내용을 토대로 IP Accounting 산정을 위한 시스템과 산정 절차를 감안한 Mobile IP Accounting 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

인터넷 서비스의 급증으로 QoS에 대한 중요성이 증대되고 있는데, 본 논문에서는 IP 네트워크에서 QoS서비스를 제공하기 위한 방안으로 ATM 전송계층을 이용하는 방법에 대해 기술한다. 여기서는 유럽의 BTI 프로젝터에서 수행한 IntServ 구조와 액세스 네트워크 측면에서 통신 인프라 구축에 필요한 소요자원을 줄이고 새로운 서비스 제공을 용이하게 하는 QoS 기반기술에 대해 기술한다. 특히 실제 BTI의 원격학습 응용을 통해 QoS 제어 성능을 분석하고, IP/ATM 통합망에서의 QoS 제어방안에 대해 고찰한다.

본 문서는 Ad-hoc 네트워크가 인터넷과 연동되는 환경에서 Mobile IP 기능을 지원하기 위한 기술에 대한 연구 동향을 분석한다. Mobile IP는 이동 노드와 Foreign Agent(FA) 간에 링크 레벨의 연결이 존재하는 네트워크 환경에서 동작하지만, Ad-hoc 네트워크의 경우 노드간에 멀티 홉 라우팅에 의한 통신 방법을 기본적으로 사용하고 있고, 노드의 자유로운 이동으로 인하여 이동 노드에서 FA로의 루트가 수시로 변경되는 특성을 가지고 있기 때문에 Ad-hoc 네트워크에서 Mobile IP를 지원하는 데에는 여러 가지 문제점이 따른다.

보안을 위한 암호화는 실시간 통신인 VoIP에 패킷의 추가적인 작업이 요구되므로 음질에 악영향을 미치게 된다. 이러한 영향을 파악하고 분석하기 위해 DES, 3DES, SEED 그리고 AES 등의 암호 알고리즘을 VoIP 시스템에 적용하여 지터나 RTT 혹은 패킷 손실율과 같은 QoS 요소를 측정함으로써 각 암호 알고리즘의 연산이 실시간 통신에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다.

인터넷을 비롯한 대부분의 패킷스위칭 네트워크는 IP(Internet Protocol)을 기반으로 하고 있으나, IP는 기본적으로 보안에 취약하게 설계되어 보안이 필요한 통신에 사용하는데는 어려움이 있다. IPSec(IP Security)은 IP 트래픽에 대한 이러한 보안문제를 극복하기 위해 생겨났으며, 방화벽과 결합된 형태로 가장 널리 쓰이고 있는 VPN(Virtual Private Network) 제품의 하나이다. 그러나 IPSec 자체의 문제점이 대두되고, Web-based Service가 영역을 넓혀가면서 기존의 웹 보안 프로토콜인 SSL이 VPN의 새로운 형식으로 나타나고 있다. 본 고에서는 이러한 SSL VPN의 모델을 IPSec VPN과 비교하여 분석하고자 한다.

인터넷을 이용하여 저렴한 비용으로 음성을 전송할 수 있는 VoIP 서비스의 발전으로 머지않아 VoIP서비스가 현재의 회선 교환 전화 서비스를 대치할 것으로 보인다. 본 문서에서는 단말간에 콜을 생성, 변경, 종료할 때 쓰이는 SIP가 어떠한 특성을 가지며 동작하는지 살펴본다 SIP가 H.323과 비교해서 어떠한 장점이 있는지 서술하였고, SIP의 장점을 활용하여 IMT2000, 3GPP, ETSI 둥에서 어떻게 발전시키고 있는지 분석 및 설명한다.

Various schemes for mobility support are currently proposed in NGN. However the performance comparison of all existing schemes is not relatively examined as yet. Therefore, in this paper, we investigate the location registration and handover procedure of MIPv6, IP2, Q.MMF, IMS, compare and analyze the location registration time and cost and handover latency time using various performance parameters and simulation for the performance analysis. As a result of analysis, when Location Manager locates in the center of core network, IP2 showed better performance than other schemes.
