This paper presents tuo implementation models for wireless service operators to offer Mobile-IP over IMT-2000 Data service under IMT-2000 network by taking advantage of the existing infrastructure for IMT-2000 services. For this purpose, a new Mobile-IP over IMT-2000-based protocol architectures are introduced and service operation schemes and handoff schemes according to various scenarios of packet data services in the IMT-2000 core network are presented. Also, this paper describes the handoff scheme in terms of channel states.

In this paper, we made researches into considerations for the numbering plan for IMT-2000 that seems to be a unit system integrating cellular, satellite, PCS. The purposes of the numbering plane for IMT-2000 ARE SIMILAR TO IMT-2000 evolution form:constructing the numbering plane centering around UPT as a PRE-FPLMTS from and futhermore, adding terminal mobility to IMT-2000. For this paper, we established three numbering plans for IMT-2000 that accepts various considerations.

ITU-R WP 5D에서는 차세대 이동통신 시스템인 IMT-Advanced 시스템에 대한 표준화를 진행하고 있다. 이 표준화는 IMT-Advanced를 위한 표준화 일정, 서비스 요구사항, 기술적 요구사항, 평가 방법 등을 포함하며 최종적으로 각 사항들은 IMT-Advanced 후보 기술 제출 요청을 위해 외부 표준화 기관 등에 발송될 예정이다. 이중 IMT.TECH은 IMT-Advanced에서의 기술적 요구사항을 규정하며 IMT-Advanced 시스템 평가를 위한 최소 기술 요구사항, 주요 기술적인 항목에 대한 정의, 평가를 위한 항목 등을 주요 내용으로 한다. 본 고는 2008년 1월 WP 5D 1차 회의까지 작성된 IMT.TECH 문서의 주요 내용을 소개하고, 차후 일정 및 대응 방안에 대하여 논한다.

IMT-Advanced 서비스는 지난 2007년 10월 WRC-07 회의에서 IMT-Advanced를 위한 새로운 주파수가 할당되고 IMT-Advanced 기술 개발 경쟁이 본격적으로 이루어지면서 차세대 이동통신의 주도권을 잡기 위한 표준화 경쟁도 시작되었다. IMT-Advanced 서비스 및 시스템의 표준화는 ITU가 중심이 되어 2009년 10월까지 후보 기술을 제안 받고 2011년 2월까지 이루어질 예정이다. 한편 3GPP, 2GPP2, IEEE802.16 등 기준 IMT-2000 표준 기술을 제안한 표준화 단체 중심으로 IMT-Advanced 표준 기술 개발 경쟁이 치열하게 전개되고 있다. 지난 2008년 1월에 합의하기로 한 최소 기술 요구사항은 각 표준화 단체를 배경으로 한 국가 및 제조업체사이에 표준화 기술의 의견 차이가 매우 커서 2008년 6월로 미루어졌다. IMT-Advanced 기술 요구 사항은 국내 IMT-Advanced 기술 경쟁력을 확보하는 기준이 되는 문서로서 최소 기술 요구사항의 파라미터 값은 향후 IMT-Advanced 시스템의 개발 및 상용화 시기 그리고 기존 IMT-Advanced 기술 요구 사항에 대한 표준화 단체의 기술 개발 현황과 차이를 확인하고 주요 이슈 및 쟁점을 분석하였다.

Korea has made a plan to allocate CH 14~CH 51 (470 MHz~698 MHz) for DTV transition. Therefore, It is a necessary to take account compatibility between DTV service and other potential services. This paper assumes that DTV service operates on CH 51(692 MHz~698 MHz) and IMT service operates on CH 52(698 MHz~704 MHz), and then analyzes compatibility between DTV service and IMT service with Spectrum Engineering Advanced Monte Carlo Analysis Tool(SEAMCAT). The interference probability from IMT service to DTV service and capacity loss of IMT service due to interference from DTV service is studied, respectively. For the simulation, four interference cases in four different scenarios are considered. With considering the depolarization factor, a guard band of 8 MHz is required in the case of between IMT service downlink(DL) and DTV service, in the case of between IMT service uplink(UL) and DTV service, a guard band of 6 MHz is needed for the worst case of urban scenario on consideration of more then 15 dB increase of IMT system base station(BS) receiver blocking level.

본 고에서는 SK 텔레콤에서 수행해온 광대역 CDMA 및 IMT-2000 시스템에 관련된 연구개발 내용에 관하여 기술하였다. 우선 SK 텔레콤의 IMT-2000 무선접속 규격에 관하여 간략하게 기술하고 지금까지 개발한 IMT-2000 testbed 및 광대역 CDMA 시스템과 ASIC에 관하여 논하였다. 또한 IMT-2000 Network의 프로토콜 검증과 서비스 개발을 위해 수행하고 있는 network testbed의 구조와 현재 개발 진행 중인 IMT-2000 시스템에 대해서도 살펴본다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation of Intima-Media Thickness of common carotid artery(CCA-IMT) and The Second Derivative of Photoplethysmogram Waveforms(SDPTG). 38 subjects with acute ischemic stroke were recruited from the patients admitted to Dong-Eui Medical Center from the June 2013 to January 2014. We assessed 38 patient's SDPTG data and CCA-IMT data by B Mode ultrasonography. then 38 subjects were divided into two groups by the CCA-IMT difference; CCA-IMT 〈 0.8 mm group(n=11), CCA-IMT $$\geq_-$$ 0.8 mm group(n=27). We analyzed their characteristics, risk factor, blood test result, life style by CCA-IMT difference. As a result, Age, Hypertension were significantly higher in the CCA-IMT $$\geq_-$$ 0.8 mm group then in the CCA-IMT < 0.8 mm group. Regular exercise were significantly higher in the CCA-IMT < 0.8 mm group then in the CCA-IMT $$\geq_-$$ 0.8 mm group. The result of Multiple regression analysis on the factors affecting the CCA-IMT was hypertension, total cholesterol, age. and The result of Pearson's Correlation analysis on CCA-IMT and SDPTG is that e/a ratio, SDPTG AI were respectively and significantly correlated with CCA-IMT. According to the analysis, the Relationship between CCA-IMT and SDPTG in Ischemic Stroke Patients were founded. We suggest that further investigation with larger and better controlled trials of the Relationship between CCA-IMT and SDPTG could contribute to better understand the effects of risk factors on atherosclerosis.

This study examined 202 patients who was diagnosed as arteriosclerosis obliterans around carotid artery caused by its increase in IMT and who have been tested by carotid artery sonography. The results are as follows : 1. Out of 202 research subjects, 120(59.4%) were male, 82(40.6%) female, and the average age was 58. 2. Among the subjects, 54(26.7%) were diagnosed as DM, 60(29.7%) with hyperlipidemia, 86(42.6%) with hypertension, 61(30.2%) with EGK. 3. There was more increase in the left IMT than in the right IMT, more increase in male subjects than female subjects, and more increase with age. 4. The relationship between IMT & MRA was that subjects tested by MRA showed greater statistically significant correlation than those not tested by MRA(p < 0.01). 5. The increase in IMT was correlated with DM and HTN, but not with EKG and hyperlipidemia. 6. Among subjects tested by MRA, those diagnosed with MCA stenosis showed increase upto 0.94 in the left IMT and 0.96 in the right IMT ; there was a significant correlation(p < 0.01). Thicker IMT was positively correlated with diagnosis of MCA stenosis after MRA test.

IMT-2000 시스템에서도 제2세대 이동통신시스템에서와 같이 로우밍(roaming) 에 대한 기술적인 문제의 해결이 필요하다. 다만 IMT-2000 시스템에서 요구되는 로우밍 요구사항은 제2세대 이동통신시스템에서 요구되는 로우밍 요구사항 보다 훨씬 수준 높은 점이 다르다. IMT-2000 에서 로우밍과 관련된 요구사항으로는 서로 다른 IMT- 2000 family member간의 이동성올 보장하는 글로벌 로우밍 (global roaming)기능, 타 IMT-2000 망에 이동하여서도 마치 자기 IMT-2000 망에 있는 것처럼 IMT-2000 망이 제공하는 서비스를 사용 할 수 있는 virtual home environment(VHE) 기능, 이동중에도 패킷 데이터 서비스 특히 인터넷을 사용하여 패킷 데이터를 주고 받을 수 있는 Internet interworking 기능등이 있다. 본고에서는 IMT-2000 망 구조하에서 이러한 로우밍 관련 요구사항들이 어떻게 논의되어 가고 있는지에 대하여 살펴본다.

제 3 세대 이동 통신인 IMT-2000 서비스의 목적은 언제 어디서나 어떠한 환경 하에서도 고품질의 영상과 신뢰성 있는 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공한다는 점이다. 기존의 2 세대 이동통신에서의 엔터테인먼트 서비스가 텍스트 기반의 온라인 게임이나 단순한 이미지 및 그래픽 파일 그리고 저 해상도의 영상만이 제공되었다면 IMT-2000 상에서의 엔터테인먼트 서비스는 개인화가 부각된, 눈으로 보고 느낄 수 있는 고 부가가치의 영상서비스를 제공 할 것이다. 사용자는 정지 또는 이동 중에도 IMT 단말기로 3 차원 게임을 즐기고 실시간 또는 주문형 영상 및 음악을 시청하며 여행정보를 수집하는 등의 더욱 더 효과적인 무선 오락을 즐길 수 있도록 기존의 시간 때우기 식의 개념에서 벗어나 자신만의 가상 세계를 체험할 수 있는 사이버 월드의 킬러 서비스로서 기반을 다져가야 할 것이다. 본 고에서는 IMT-2000 엔터테인먼트 서비스와 이에 관련되는 소요기술 등을 기술 하고자 한다.
