자동차 전장품의 환경시험규격에 관한 연구 (Environmental Test Specifications for Automotive Electrical Units)

  • Purpose: Using international specifications, this study classified international standards and automobile manufacturers' test items based on the kind of test used and determined the test order for ISO 16750. Methods: The effects of international standards' environmental factors were examined, based on the major impacts of the product and the results of product failure. Automobile manufacturers' test items were compared with the test item in the ISO 16750. A generic algorithm was then used to determine the test sequence for ISO 16750. Results: International standards and automobile manufacturers' common test items were classified. The test sequence of ISO 16750 was determined for five cases. Conclusion: Although mechanical and environmental tests share many common features, there are differences in the details of the tests. There is a common sequence of tests, but weights are allocated tests differently.

하이브리드 전투차량의 기능안전성 적용 연구 (Research on Application of Functional Safety for Developing Combat Hybrid Electric Vehicles)

  • Hybrid electric propulsion systems are expected as future primary combat platforms because the systems can supply enough electric power, easily locate components inside vehicles, and maneuver without undesired noise. However, increasing electric/electronic/software usage causes abnormal failure patterns which have not been noticeable in conventional automotive. Recently, the functional safety standard for road vehicles were enacted and vehicle manufacturers request their components which satisfy standardized quality. This research analyzes functional safety standards(IEC 61508 and ISO 26262) and compares the standards for road vehicles with military standards of system safety. Strategies to apply functional safety in the combat hybrid electric vehicle are scrutinized.

철도차량 검측모듈의 신뢰성 검증 시험 연구 (A Study of Inspection Module for Verifying Reliability on Railway Vehicle)

  • This study examines environmental performance of the arcing measurement module according to international standards. The module assesses the collected current performance using a computer system. The module is required to assess environmental impact resulting from electromagnetic waves, shock and temperature change during train operation. The test includes testing EMI/EMC, vibration, shock and temperature cycling for interface between trains and the arcing measurement module. The module test items were determined in compliance with the standards suggested by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and Europaische Norm (EN). This study describes the method of test, test equipment operation and how to choose relevant performance standards. The analysis and test results of environmental performance for the module based on computer system are described in this study.

  • 중화학 공업은 전해조를 포함한 비선형 부하를 가지고 있다. AC-DC 컨버터로 구성된 전해조는 고조파 전류를 발생시키고, 전력 계통의 전압을 왜곡 시킨다. 본 논문에서는 전해조 부하의 고조파 현장 측정, 고조파 저감을 위해 수용가 모선에 동조 필터 적용과 국제 고조파 관리 기준인 IEC 61000-3-6과 IEEE 519에 의한 고조파 평가를 심도있게 분석한다. 고조파 해석 프로그램인 EDSA는 사례연구에 시뮬레이션 도구로 사용되었다.

IEC 규격에 따른 풍력 터빈 소음의 현장 실증 (Field Test and Evaluation of Wind Turbine Noise according to IEC Standards)

  • The sound measurement techniques in IEC 61400-11 are applied to field test and evaluation of noise emission from 1.5 MW wind turbine generator (WTG) at Yongdang-Lee and 650 kW WTG at Hangwon-Lee in Jeju Island. Apparent sound power level, wind speed dependence and third-octave band levels are evaluated for both of WTGs. 1.5 MW WTG at Yongdang is found to emit lower sound power than 660 kW one at Hangwon, which seems to be due to lower rotating speed of the rotor of WTG at Yongdang. Equivalent continuous sound pressure level s (ECSPL) of 650 kW WTG at Hangwon vary more widely with speed than those of 1.5 MW WTG at Yongdang. The reason for this is believed to be the fixed blade-rotating speed of WTG at Yongdang. One-third octave band analysis of the measured data show that the band components around 400-500 Hz are dominant for 1.5 MW WTG at Yongdang and those around 1K Hz are dominant for 660 kW WTG at Hangwon.

풍력발전기의 낙뢰피해 대책 검토 및 적용방안 (An Application Method and Review of Lightning Protection for Wind Turbines)

  • This investigation presents reviews of many research results on lightning damage to wind turbines and lightning protection strategies from IEC Standard, Europe, USA, Japan and Korea. There have been few studies on lightning protection of wind turbines in Korea, while various investigations have been performed in the other countries. It is necessary to apply some good lightning protection strategies of IEC Standard and the other countries to Korea. Those are as follows: The guideline for lightning protection of wind turbines should be established based on IEC Standards. It needs to be carried out both development of software and experimental studies for understanding the types of lightning damage to wind turbines and compiling the database. In order to minimize the lightning damage to wind turbines, it is a key factor for wind farm owners and researchers to provide the information about the damage cases and wind farm operation technique.

  • Recent alarming acceleration of global warming has made power generations using renewable energy to be in the middle of the spotlight. Korean government has also announced that it will make the related industry to be nation's one of main export items with high investments to low carbon green growth industry. To achieve this goal of exporting the renewable energy power generation system beyond domestic use, internationally acceptable rules should be applied and the three step processes of design, performance assessment and certification should follow international standards. Corresponding this international requests, IEC(International Electrotechnical Commission) is conducting the establishment of rules in TC88 for technical requirements of wind turbines. Design life-time of a wind turbine is required to be at least 20 years. In the meantime, the wind turbine will experience a lot of load cases such as extreme loads and fatigue loads which will include several typhoons per year and extreme gusts with 50 years recurrence period as well as endless turbulence flow. Therefore, IEC 61400-1 specifies design load cases to be considered in the wind turbine design and requires the wind turbine to withstand the load cases in various operational situations. It thus appears that the examination of contents and decisions discussed in the international standard committee will help people in the field of offshore wind energy and ocean energy converters.

CIM 기반의 Distribution Automation System에 관한 연구 (A Study About Distribution Automation System Based on CIM)

  • Distribution systems for operating the various systems should be operated organically. Distribution systems for organic operations extend the functionality of the system and system integration for the extension is doing. However, in systems integration for each unique non-standard definition of linkage and exchange systems are used. Non-standard definition of a unique linkage and exchange systems in the maintenance and expansion will result in many negative results. To solve these problems, the system and the exchange of information about the links between systems should define standards. IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) power to solve these problems in the field of the Common Information Model (Common Information Model, CIM) standard (IEC61970, IEC61968) is defined as the transmission and distribution system integration and standardization for the exchange of information. In this paper, standardized system for building CIM-based distribution automation system should describe the process of building. In addition, the process of establishing a common information model needed (CIM) defined and associated services for a defined set of models is proposed in the standardization process.

  • 전기로를 포함하는 비선형 부하를 가진 규모가 큰 제철소는 특고압 수용가이다. 이득 비선형 부하는 고조파 전류를 발생시키고, 전력계통의 전압을 왜곡시킨다. 고조파 측정결과로 고조파는 시간에 따라 변하는 특성을 가지고 있었다. 시간에 따라 변하는 고조파를 해결하기 위해 쓰이는 가장 보편적인 방법은 누적확률을 사용하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 전기로 부하의 시간에 따라 변하는 고조파를 국제 고조파 기준인 IEC 61000-3-6, IEEE 519와 JIS C 61000-3-2에 의해 평가하고자 한다.

  • ISO/IEC JTC1/SC24 는 컴퓨터 그래픽스 표준을 관장하는 전문위원회이다. 이 위원 회는 기술발전에 부응하는 새로운 그래픽스 표준인 PREMO를 구상하고 현재 개발작업이 진행중이다. PREMO는 종래의 그래픽스 표준과 달리 그래픽스와 함께 멀티미디어 객체 모두를 대상으로 표현환경을 제공하는데 그 뜻을 두고 있다. 본 논문이 작성되는 시 점에서, PREMO의 제 1부는 CD 단계에서 검토중이고, 제3부는 WD단계, 제4부는 도입단 계에 있다. 본 논문은 PREMO가 갖출 기능적 특성을 제시 하려 한다.
