Local device-to-device (D2D) communication between two smart mobile devices is becoming increasingly popular. The first key step in starting a D2D communication is to discover and identify the remote target device to establish a link. However, existing device discovery mechanisms either require users to explicitly identify the ID of the target device or rely on inaccurate beamforming technology. This paper presents two novel device identification algorithms using a variety of embedded sensors. The algorithms only require that users to point two devices towards each other. This paper describes the algorithms, analyzes their accuracy using analytical models, and verifies the results using simulations.
This paper studies medical data classification methods, comparing decision tree and system reconstruction analysis as applied to heart disease medical data mining. The data we study is collected from patients with coronary heart disease. It has 1,723 records of 71 attributes each. We use the system-reconstruction method to weight it. We use decision tree algorithms, such as induction of decision trees (ID3), classification and regression tree (C4.5), classification and regression tree (CART), Chi-square automatic interaction detector (CHAID), and exhausted CHAID. We use the results to compare the correction rate, leaf number, and tree depth of different decision-tree algorithms. According to the experiments, we know that weighted data can improve the correction rate of coronary heart disease data but has little effect on the tree depth and leaf number.
The contents of pentachlorophenol (PCP) and 2,3,5,6-tetrachlorophenol (TeCP) in textile products are regulated for safety. Since an organic solvent such as 2-methoxyethanol is needed to extract chlorinated phenols from textile samples, nonaqueous capillary electrophoresis has been applied to achieve the separation of PCP and isomers of TeCP. The run buffer was 100 mM Tris/acetate in methanol whose pH was adjusted to 8.0. All of the analytes were negatively charged at pH 8.0 and their electrophoretic velocities were higher than the electroosmotic flow of the methanol buffer. A reverse voltage of -20 kV was applied along a 27-cm fused silica capillary with ID of 50 μm, and PCP and 3 TeCP isomers were separated based on the difference in $pK_a$ values in less than 4 min. The limits of detection (S/N = 3) were about 0.02 μM. By varying pH of the methanol run buffer, $pK_a$ values of the 4 chlorinated phenols were also estimated.

Phosphor powders of zinc gal late added with Mg and rare-earth elements were prepared by sol id state reaction to improve luminescent properties. Green emitting $ZnMnGa_{2}O_{4}$ reached maximum intensity at Mn=0,005 mole$\%$ and further improvement was achieved by addition of $Mg^{2+}$. Tm, Mg-added zinc gallate phosphor exhibited a strong blue band emission, peaking at about 420 nm with the maximum intensity at the concentration of 0.003 mole$\%$ Mg and 0.015 mole$\%$ Tm. Deepening of the potential wells of the ground and excited states was suggested to be the cause for the enhancement in emission intensity at optimal doping of Mg and Tm.
Actein is the well-known active ingredient of Cimicifugae rhizoma (Black cohosh). In this study, we investigated and compared the binding affinity of tubocurarine, actein, and actein derivatives on the B&C domain of the acetylcholine binding protein through in silico computational docking studies. The three-dimensional crystallographic structure of the acetylcholine binding protein B&C domain was obtained from the PDB database (PDB ID: 2XYT). An in silico computational autodocking analysis was performed using PyRx, Autodock Vina, Discovery Studio Version 4.5, and NX-QuickPharm based on scoring functions. The actein showed an optimum binding affinity (docking energy), with the acetylcholine binding protein at -10.50 kcal/mol as compared to the tubocurarine (-9.80 kcal/mol). The interacting amino acids tryptophan 84 and tryptophan 147, in the B domain of the acetylcholine binding protein active site, significantly interacted with the actein and 27-deoxyactein, and (26R)-actein. The centroid XYZ grid position of the tubocurarine was X=38.300689, Y=112.053467, and Z=51.991022, but the actein and its derivatives showed values around X=26.4, Y=127.3, Z=43.7. These results clearly indicated that actein and its derivatives could be a more potent antagonist to the acetylcholine binding protein than tubocurarine. Therefore, the extract of Cimicifugae rhizoma or actein containing biomaterials can substitute for the botulinum toxin-mediated acetylcholine receptor regulation, and be applied to the anti-wrinkle cosmetics industry.

Many factors such as wind direction, wind strength, temperature, and obstacles affect a munition's trajectory. Since these factors eventually determines the probability of hit and the hitting point of a target, these factors should be considered to obtain reliable weapon effectiveness data. In this study, we propose the extension of the MSDL(Military Scenario Definition Language) to reflect these factors to improve the reliability of weapon effectiveness data. Based on the existing MSDL, which has been used to set the initial condition of a military simulation scenarios, the newly identified subelements are added in ScenarioID, Environment, Organizations, and Installations as a scenario schema. Also, DamageAssessment and DesignOfExperiments element are added to make weapon effectiveness data easily. The extended MSDL enables to automatically generate the simulation scenarios that reflect various factors which affect the probability of hit or kill. This extended MSDL is applied to an integrated simulation software of weapon systems, named AddSIM version 4.0 for generation of weapon effectiveness data.
1,3-Dimethyllumazine derivatives were synthesized by using Timmis reaction. The reaction of 4-amino-1,3-dimethyl-5-nitrosouracil(1) with 2,4-pentanedione, ethyl cyanoacetate, and ethyl acetoacetate provided 6-acetyl-1,3,7-trimethyllumazine (2), ethyl 7-amino-1,3-dimethyllumazine-6-carboxylate (4), and ethyl 1,3,7-trimethyllumazine-6-carboxylate (5) in good yieId, respectively. The various 1,3-dimethyllumazine derivatives were prepared from the side chain reactions of 6-acetyl and ester group in compound 2,4, and 5. The structure and physical properties of obtained compounds were characterized NMR, UV, IR spectrum, and elementary analysis.
In the current medical information system, a system environment is constructed in which Biometric data generated by using IoT or medical equipment connected to a patient can be stored in a medical information server and monitored at the same time. Also, the patient's biometric data, medical information, and personal information after simple authentication using only the ID / PW via the mobile terminal of the medical staff are easily accessible. However, the method of accessing these medical information needs to be improved in the dimension of protecting patient's personal information, and provides a quick authentication system for first aid. In this paper, we implemented an automatic authentication system based on the patient's situation and evaluated its performance. Patient's situation was graded into normal and emergency situation, and the situation of the patient was determined in real time using incoming patient biometric data from the ward. If the patient's situation is an emergency, an emergency message including an emergency code is send to the mobile terminal of the medical staff, and they attempted automatic authentication to access the upper medical information of the patient. Automatic authentication is a combination of user authentication(ID/PW, emergency code) and mobile terminal authentication(medical staff's role, working hours, work location). After user authentication, mobile terminal authentication is proceeded automatically without additional intervention by medical staff. After completing all authentications, medical staffs get authorization according to the role of medical staffs and patient's situations, and can access to the patient's graded medical information and personal information through the mobile terminal. We protected the patient's medical information through limited medical information access by the medical staff according to the patient's situation, and provided an automatic authentication without additional intervention in an emergency situation. We performed performance evaluation to verify the performance of the implemented automatic authentication system.
Purpose: Radiotracers that bind to the central benzodiazepine receptor are useful for the investigation of various neurological and psychiatric diseases. [C-11]Flumazenil, a benzodiazepine antagonist, is the most widely used radioligand for central benzodiazepine receptor imaging by PET. We synthesized 3-(2-[F-18]fluoro)flumazenil, a new fluorine-18 ($t_{1/2}$= 110 min) labeled analogue of benzodiazepine receptor imaging agent, and evaluated in vivo for biodistribution in mice. Materials and Methods: Flumazenil (Ro 15-1788) was synthesized by a modification of the reported method. Precursor of 3-(2-[F-18]fluoro)flumazenil, the tosylated flumazenil derivative was prepared by the tosylation of the ethyl ester by ditosylethane. [F-18] labeling of tosyl substitued flumazenil precursor was performed by adding F-18 ion at $85^{\circ}C$ in the hot ceil for 20 min. The reaction mixture was trapped by C18 cartridge, washed with 10% ethanol, and eluted by 40% ethanol. Bidistribution in mice was determined after intravenous injection. Results: The total chemical yield of tosylated flumazenil derivative was ${\sim}40%$. The efficiency of labeling 3-(2-[F-18]fluoro)flumazenil was 66% with a total synthesis time of 50 min. Brain uptakes of 3-(2-[F-18]fluoro)flumazenil at 10, 30, 60 min after injection, were $2.5{\pm}0.37,\;2.2{\pm}0.26,\;2.1{\pm}0.11$ and blood activities were $3.7{\pm}0.43,\;3.3{\pm}0.07,\;3.3{\pm}0.09%ID/g$, respectively. Conclusion: We synthesized a tosylated flumazenil derivative which was successfully labeled with no-carrier-added F-18 by nucleophilic substitution.
Detection of antibody against pathogenic fungi in serum specimens of the patients with pulmonary tuberculosis or other lung diseases has been carried out(male) using the indirect fluorescence antibody technique and immunodiffusion tests. Immunodiffusion tests revealed that 104(36.5%) out of 285 patients examined showed a positive precipitin reaction against one or more of fungal antigens. The majority of ID positive patients 64(61.5%) reacted with Aspergillus fumigatus antigen and 49(47.1%) patients reacted with Candida albicans antigen ID positive reaction to A. fumigatus was found little more frequently among male patients, while Candida albicans reactors were found more frequently among female patients. Age distribution of ID positive reactors was high(49.1-43.3%) in age group of 40-59 years, but least or none in age group of less than 30 years. Age of fungal mycelium used as antigen did not effect sensitivity of the indirect flubrescence (IF) technique in detecting antibody to A. fumigatus. Antibody class against A. fumigatus that showed highest titer was IgG and thus FITC labeled anti-IgG immunoglobulin shoul be preferable. As relatively large amount of cell wall components of Aspergilli shared antigenically, a considerable cross-reaction was observed among A. fumigatus, A. flavus and A. niger, but not much with C. albicans. While (IF) has much better sensitivity when compared with ID, relative specificity of the latter procedure cannot to be overried, so that they could be batter used together in order to obtain quantitative measurement of antibody with relative specificity.
