This study aimed to examine whether the polygenic profile of ACE ID and ACTN3 R577X polymorphisms is associated with muscle power performance in Korean athletes. For this study, 106 top-class power athletes (top-class group), 158 elite power athletes (elite-class group), and 676 healthy adults (control) aged 18-39 yrs were recruited and their genotypes were analyzed. The top-class group showed higher frequencies of the II genotype and I allele in ACE, as well as higher frequencies of the RR genotype and R allele in ACTN3 (top-class vs. control: 41.4% vs. 32.1% for II genotype, 67.1% vs. 57.7% for I allele, p<0.05; 42.3% vs. 29.0% for RR genotype, 65.3% vs. 54.8% for I allele, p<0.05). In the polygenic profile, the top-class group had significantly higher frequencies of combined-II/ID+RR/RX genotype than the control group (top-class vs. control: 82.9% vs. 66.7% for II/ID+RR/RX, p<0.05), and there was even a sharp increase in total genotype score (TGS) in this group compared to the elite-class and control groups ($66{\pm}0.9$ vs. $58{\pm}1.9$ vs. $56{\pm}2.3$, p<0.05). The combined-II/ID+RR/RX genotype showed the possibility of succussion in the top-class muscle power performance with an odds ratio of 2.3 (CI:1.4-4.1, p<0.05). These results suggested that ACE and ACTN3 need to interact with each other to affect muscle-power performance in an additive form. Furthermore, the polygenic profile of ACE and ACTN3 can predict muscle performance with high success in a homogeneous dominant combined genotype (II/ID+RR/RX). A further study could identify and combine other genes into ACE and ACTN3 for muscle strength.
Pediococcus pentosaceus ID-7 was isolated from kimchi, a Korean fermented food, and it showed high activity for lactose hydrolysis. The ${\beta}$-galactosidase of P. pentosaceus ID-7 belongs to the GH2 group, which is composed of two distinct proteins. The heterodimeric LacLM type of ${\beta}$-galactosidase found in P. pentosaceus ID-7 consists of two genes partially overlapped, lacL and lacM encoding LacL (72.2 kDa) and LacM (35.4 kDa). In this study, Escherichia coli MM294 was used for the production of LacL, LacM, and LacLM. These three types of recombinant proteins were expressed, purified, and characterized. The specific activities of LacLM and LacL were 339 and 31 U/mg, respectively. However, activity was not detected with LacM alone. The optimal pH of LacLM and LacL was pH 7.5 and pH 7.0, and the optimal temperature of LacLM and LacL was $40^{\circ}C$ and $50^{\circ}C$, respectively. The optimal temperature changes indicate that LacLM is able to achieve higher activity at a relatively lower temperature. LacLM was strongly activated by $Mg^{2+}$, $Mn^{2+}$, and $Zn^{2+}$, which was not true for LacL. Consistent with this, EDTA strongly inactivated LacLM and LacL, but the presence of reducing agents did not dramatically alter the activity. Taken together, multiple alignment of amino acid sequences and phylogenetic analysis results of LacL and LacM of P. pentosaceus ID-7 suggest the evolution of LacL into LacLM and that the use of divalent metal ions results in higher activity.
Hemoglobin and zinc protoporphyrin (ZPP) tests are commonly used to screen for iron deficiency, but little research has been done to systematically evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of these two tests. The goal of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of zinc protoporphyrin/heme (ZPP/H) ratio as a point-of-service screening test for iron deficiency among preschool-aged children by comparing the sensitivity and specificity of hemoglobin, ZPP/H ratio, and serum ferritin (SF). Also completed were assessments for the prevalence of anemia, iron deficiency (ID), and iron deficiency anemia (IDA) with indicators of ferritin models. This study was carried out with 95 children ages 3 to 6 y. Anthropometric measurements were assessed and blood samples were analyzed for hemoglobin, SF, transferrin saturation (TS), and ZPP. Anemia was common and the prevalences of anemia, ID, and IDA were 14.7%, 12.6%, and 5.2%, respectively. The ZPP/H ratio was strongly and significantly correlated with hemoglobin. And ZPP/H ratio was a more sensitive test for ID than hemoglobin or SF measurement, correctly identifying more than twice as many iron-deficient children (sensitivity of 91.7%, compared to 41.7% for hemoglobin and SF). However, ZPP/H ratio had lower specificity (60.2%, compared to 89.1% for hemoglobin or 96.4% for SF) and resulted in the false identification of more subjects who actually were not iron deficient than did hemoglobin or SF. Low hemoglobin concentration is a late-stage indicator of ID, but ZPP/H ratio can detect ID at early stages and can be performed easily at a relatively low cost. Therefore, ZPP/H ratio can serve as a potential screening test for pre-anemic iron deficiency in community pediatric practices.

As computing paradigm of the next generation, Ubiquitous Computing has emerged owing to growing of the Internet and computer networking technologies, and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) which is the core technology to achieve(realize, actualize) the Ubiquitous Computing environment, is being noticed. MIT's Auto-ID Center has proposed PML(Physical Markup Language) which is based on XML (Extensible Markup Language), is a standard language for describing physical objects, in order to interchange of data between each of these RFID application systems. The PML defines only core parts to describe physical objects, but on the other hand the other parts to be needed in practical application have to be defined with extended definitions separately. In this paper, therefore, the object information data model was designed, which defines the type of the object in order. to process electronic tag information in the RFID application service based on PML Core of Auto-ID Center and is applicable to the distribution service parts.
Mobile agent system comes into the spotlight since it contributes largely to mobile computing on distributed network environment. However, this system has a number of significant security Problems. In this Paper, we analyze suity attacks to mobile agent system Presented by NIST[3]. In order to protect this system from them, we suggest a security protocol for mobile agent system by employing R based key distribution and digital multi-signature scheme. To solve these problems described in NIST, securities for mobile agent and agent platform shouid be accomplished. Comparing with other protocols, our protocol performs both of these securities, while other protocols mentioned only one of them. Proposed Protocol satisfies simplicity of key management, providing security service such as confidentiality, integrity, authentication and preventing reputation, liveness guarantee, protection of excution-result data and preventing replay attack. Furthermore, it is designed to detect message modification immediately by verifying each step of agent execution at a corresponding server.
Current address-based Internet has started to expose the number of limitations, with the growth of the Internet. Most of the problems have been solved by adding new features to the Internet or some modification of existing features but some problems can not be solved because it is believed that the structural limitations of the Internet. Overcoming to fundamentally the limitations of the Internet, ID-based Future Internet research is under active research going on in the competitive atmosphere of the United States and Europe. However, most studies have been promoted in a specific field is concentrated in a limited area. For the future Internet, there is a need to derive the requirements to overcome the limitation and accommodate the features and advantages of the existing studies. This paper compares and analyzes the characteristics and advantages and disadvantages for the ID-based Future Internet Research, and describes the requirements to have the ID-based Future Internet.

In this paper, we investigate a way to adopt Drone system to Air Cargo logistics, in particular, drone system based on combination of Light ID and RFID technology in the management procedure in stock warehouse. Also we explain the expected impact of Drone systems to customs declaration process. In this paper, we address the investigated limitations of Drone by the Korean Aviation Act as well as suggest the directions of future research for application of Drone to Air logistics industry with investigated limitations.
In this work, styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) and styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) were used to modify asphalt, resulting in SBR- and SBS-modified asphalt, respectively. The two modified asphalts were emulsified with a nonionic emulsifier (Span 60) and cationic emulsifiers (ID, DDA) and their phase stabilization was investigated via particle size, Zeta potential, and flow behavior analysis. With increasing amount of the mixed emulsifier, the particle size decreased, leading to an increase in viscosity. The shear thinning behaviors and Zeta potential values ranging from 35-65 mV were determined and remained considerably stable. In addition, the adhesion strength and compression strength of the SBR-and SBS-modified asphalt emulsion were evaluated via surface free energy examination. The remarkable adhesion and compression strengths were estimated when 5 phr ID and 6 phr DDA were added to the emulsified asphalt modified with SBR and SBS. Therefore ID and DDA, the two cationic surfactants, played significant roles in improving the dispersion and interfacial adhesion strength, resulting in the improved adhesion and compression strength of the emulsified asphalts modified with SBR and SBS.

This study was attempted to evaluate the effectiveness of extract of fermented red pepper The extract of fermented red pepper was prepared from fermented red pepper puree and polydextrose. Sixteen female college students were participated in this 8 weeks weight control program. All subjects were randomly assigned to the Internet Diet (ID) group or Internet I, fermented red pepper (IR) group. Mean energy intake of ID group was 1,279.9$\pm$112.0 kcal (carbohydrate: 66.9%, protein: 17.4%, fat: 15.6%) and IR group consumed 1,223.8$\pm$57.1 kcal (carbohydrate: 66.3%, protein: 19.3%, fat: 14.4%) during program. The ID group lost 2.5$\pm$1.0 kg of body weight, 0,9$\pm$0,7 kg of fat mass and 1.6$\pm$0.7 kg of lean body mass, and the IR group lost 2.7$\pm$0.3 kg of body weight, 1.8$\pm$0.6 kg of fat mass and 0.9$\pm$0.7 kg of lean body mass. There was no significant differences in the loss of total body weight & lean body mass between two groups, however, the fat mass and the abdominal fat were significantly decreased in the IR group compared to the IC group (p<0.05) The ID group experienced a significantly reduced Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR), however, IC group slightly increased. The change of RMR between groups were significantly different (p<0.05) . There were no differences in the change of blood glucose, total-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol and triglyceride between groups. Therefore, the intake of fermented red pepper doting the weight control program might decreased the body fat especially abdominal fat and prevent the decline of RMR during weight reduction period.
Objectives: Recently, $[methyl-^{11}C]-({\beta}$-Hydroxyethyl)trimethylammonium ($[^{11}C]$choline) Has been discovered to be a very effective tracer in imaging various human tumors using positron omission tomography. Because of the short half-life of C-11, it is very difficult to use in a routine imaging procedure and needs a frequent synthesis of $[^{11}C]$choline. This can be supplemented by the substitution of $[^{11}C]$choline with $[methyl-^{18}F]$fluorocholine. Here, we would like to report ceil uptake and biodistribution of $[^{11}C]$choline and $[^{18}F]$fluorocholine as a basic study. Methods: $[^{11}C]$Choline was prepared by the treatment of $[^{11}C]CH_3I$ with N,N-dimethylaminoethanol and $[^{18}F]$fluorocholine was synthesized from reaction of $CH_2Br[^{18}F]F$ with N,N-dimethylaminoethanol. The radiochemical purity was checked by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The blodistribution of $[^{11}C]$choline and $[^{18}F]$fluorocholine was determined in balb/c mouse at 5 min, 20 min, 40 min and 80 min. The cell uptake was measured using glioma (9L) and colon adenocarcinoma (SW620). Results: The radiochemical purity was more than 98% after purification. In the liver, uptake did not change over time; the uptake was 20%ID/g for $[^{11}C]$choline and 13%ID/g for $[^{18}F]$fluorocholine. In the kidney, radioactivity decreased over time; the uptake was 15%ID/g for $[^{11}C]$choline and 20%ID/g for $[^{18}F]$fluorocholine, 80 min post-injection. The cell uptake of $[^{11}C]$choline was 4.93% for glioma (9L) and 18.69% for colon adenocarcinoma (SW620). For $[^{18}F]$fluorocholine, 1.77% for glioma (9L) and 2.77% for colon adenocarcinoma (SW620). Conclusion: $[^{11}C]$Choline and $[^{18}F]$fluorocholine showed a different cell uptake tendency, depending on cancer cell line.
