Most mobile cloud computing system use public key cryptography to provide data security and mutual authentication. A variant of traditional public key technologies called Identity-Based Cryptography(IBC) has recently received considerable attention. The certificate-free approach of IBC may well match the dynamic qualities of cloud environment. But, there is a need for a lightweight secure framework that provides security with minimum processing overhead on mobile devices. In this paper, we propose to use hierarchical ID-Based Encryption in mobile cloud computing. It is suitable for a mobile network since it can reduce the workload of root Public Key Generators by delegating the privilege of user authentication and private key generation. The Identity-Based Encryption and Identity-Based Signature are also proposed and an ID-Based Authentication scheme is presented to secure data processing. The proposed scheme is designed by one-way hash functions and XOR operations, thus has low computation costs for mobile users.

Hierarchical ID-based Cryptography proposed by C. Gentry and A. Silverberg has the problem that the length of the ciphertext is proportional to the depth of the recipient in the hierarchy. In this paper, we propose the new methods to shorten the length of the ciphertext by using HlDS(Hierarchical ID-based Signature).

C. Gentry와 A. Silverberg의 Hierarchical ID-Based Cryptography[5]에서는 Hierarchy의 깊이에 따라 암호문 길이가 선형적으로 증가한다. 본 논문에서는 Hierarchical ID-based Signature(HIDS)의 서명을 활용해 암호문의 길이를 일정하게 만드는 방법을 제안한다.
Despite several years of intense research, the security and cryptography in wireless sensor networks still have a number of ongoing problems. This paper describes how identification (ID)-based node authentication can be used to solve the key agreement problem in a three-layer interaction. The scheme uses a novel security mechanism that considers the characteristics, architecture, and vulnerability of the sensors, and provides an ID-based node authentication that does not require expensive certificates. The scheme describes the routing process using a simple ID suitable for low power and ID exposure, and proposes an ID-based node authentication. This method achieves low-cost communications with an efficient protocol. Results from this study demonstrates that it improves routing performance under different node densities, and reduces the computational cost of key encryption and decryption.

Certificateless public key cryptography is a technique that can solve the certificate management problem of a public key cryptosystem and clear the key escrow issue of ID-based cryptography using the public key in user ID. Although the studies were actively in progress, many existing schemes have been designed without taking into account the safety of the secret value with the decryption key exposure attacks. If previous secret values and decryption keys are exposed after replacing public key, a valid private key can be calculated by obtaining the partial private key corresponding to user's ID. In this paper, we propose a new security model which ensures the security against the key exposure attacks and show that several certificateless public key encryption schemes are insecure in the proposed security model. In addition, we design a certificateless public key encryption scheme to be secure in the proposed security model and prove it based on the DBDH(Decisional Bilinear Diffie-Hellman) assumption.
Certificateless public key cryptography (CL-PKC) is a new benchmark in modern cryptography. It not only simplifies the certificate management problem of PKC, but also avoids the key escrow problem of the identity based cryptosystem (ID-PKC). In this article, we propose a certificateless blind signature protocol which is based on elliptic curve cryptography (CLB-ECC). The scheme is suitable for the wireless communication environment because of smaller parameter size. The proposed scheme is proven to be secure against attacks by two different kinds of adversaries. CLB-ECC is efficient in terms of computation compared to the other existing conventional schemes. CLB-ECC can withstand forgery attack, key only attack, and known message attack. An e-cash framework, which is based on CLB-ECC, has also been proposed. As a result, the proposed CLB-ECC scheme seems to be more effective for applying to real life applications like e-shopping, e-voting, etc., in handheld devices.
Fairness of exchange is a significant property for secure online transactions, and a fair exchange scheme is a useful tool for ensuring the fairness of exchanges conducted over networks. In this paper, we propose an ID-based optimistic fair exchange scheme based on the RSA function, one which is designed by combining a well-known RSA-based signature scheme and the (naive) RSA function. Note that the main contribution of this paper is to give the first provably secure ID-based fair exchange scheme based on the RSA function, whose security can be proved under fully formalized security models. Our scheme has the following additional strongpoints. The scheme is setup-free; hence, there is no registration step between a user and an arbitrator. Moreover, the proposed scheme is designed in an ID-based setting; thus, it is possible to eliminate the need for certificates and avoid some related problems.

This paper proposes a session key distribution scheme on non-interactive key distribution algorithm of Identity-based cryptography in V2I of VANET. In the current VANET, IEEE 802.11i is used to provide secure data communication between the vehicle and infrastructure. However, since the 4-way handshake procedure reply when the vehicle handover to another RSU/AP, IEEE 802.11i increases the communication overhead and latency. The proposed scheme using non-interactive key distribution algorithm of Identity-based cryptography provided session key generation and exchange without message exchange and reduced communication overhead and latency than the IEEE 802.11i.
Security supports are a significant factor in the design of mobile ad hoc networks. In the dynamic topology where the node changes frequently, private key generation and revocation for newly joining and leaving nodes must be considered. In addition, the identities of individual nodes must be protected as well in mobile networks to avoid personal privacy concerns. This paper proposes ID-based private key revocation scheme and non-interactive key agreement scheme in anonymous MANETs. The proposed scheme provides the user privacy using pseudonyms and private key generation and revocation schemes with consideration of dynamic user changes. Therefore, our schemes can be applied in dynamic and privacy-preserving MANETs which are helpful to share multimedia data.
In recent years, peer-to-peer network have a greate deal of attention for distributed computing or collaborative application, and work of ID-based public key systems have been focusing on the area of cryptography. In this paper, we propose ID-based group key management protocols for secure communication in autonomous peer group. Each member obtains his public/private key pair derived from his identification string from Private Key Generator. No central server participates in group key management protocol instead, all group members share the burden of group key management by the collaboration of themselves, so that our scheme avoids the single point of failure problem. In addition, our scheme considers the nature of dynamic peer group such as frequent joining and leaving of a member.
