Access Control of Pay TV Program in Digital Satellite Broadcasting System (디지털 위성방송 시스템에서 유료 TV방송 프로그램 접근제어)

  • In this paper, we describe access control system for protection of pay TV program in digital DBS(Direct Broadcast satellite) system. We also propose a possible access control system and operation scenario for scrambling and descrambling which are important in access control system. Transport stream structure and option, entitlement checking message and entitlement management message for access control on digital broadcasting system are described in this paper. Especially, the authentication based on Flat-Shamir and Gulllou-Quisquater schemes required for verification of proper subscriber as access control is oriented to smart card number and subscriber ID(Identity). It has less restriction than scheme oriented to descrambler number.

Standard Terminology System Referenced by 3D Human Body Model

  • In this study, a system to increase the expressiveness of existing standard terminology using three-dimensional (3D) data is designed. We analyze the existing medical terminology system by searching the reference literature and perform an expert group focus survey. A human body image is generated using a 3D modeling tool. Then, the anatomical position of the human body is mapped to the 3D coordinates' identification (ID) and metadata. We define the term to represent the 3D human body position in a total of 12 categories, including semantic terminology entity and semantic disorder. The Blender and 3ds Max programs are used to create the 3D model from medical imaging data. The generated 3D human body model is expressed by the ID of the coordinate type (x, y, and z axes) based on the anatomical position and mapped to the semantic entity including the meaning. We propose a system of standard terminology enabling integration and utilization of the 3D human body model, coordinates (ID), and metadata. In the future, through cooperation with the Electronic Health Record system, we will contribute to clinical research to generate higher-quality big data.

Efficient Methods for the Distributed Disaster Prevention Resources (효과적인 분산 방재자원 관리 방안)

  • Disaster prevention resources consist of persons, equipments, goods, and facilities. Specially, equipments and goods are internally managed in the regional office, and may be leased to the inter-offices. National Disaster Management System(NDMS) managed the resources in the separated system. That is, one system is managed by regional disaster prevention system, the other is managed by the central disaster prevention system which receives the data from the regional disaster prevention system. Because the regional disaster prevention system updates the resource information quarterly, it is difficult to confirm the exact information. In this study, we propose the model which makes to supply in timely the resource to the disaster using the managed resource with RFID technology. Firstly, we classified the resources based on the resource types for the easily search. After then, we defined ID and attributes information of the resources. From the information, we described the management model for the real time resource.

  • This study suggests focused in user-centered design which are new separate discharge system that must recycle in paper materials. I searched cases in Korea's current law and regulation in recycling disposal guidelines and already succeed cases in each city that are Asia, Europe, and North America. Suggesting focused in user-centered design of ID(Identification) separate discharge system due to user's good participations, feedbacks of participation's results, and well-organized in awarding. This system consists of visual individual's ID(Identification) that are stickered in only used bag. User must recycle in separate discharge system only used bags, and results must visualized in each user and rewards to user. This separate discharge system is meaning to stimulate user's good participations.

  • To provide medical services to patients who have a terminal illness, recent hospital patients to monitor the state of the device attached to the body, the body insertion device is. U-Healthcare Environment and hospital officials indiscriminately exploited by the patient's vital information, however, could threaten the patient's life problems are appearing. In this paper, depending on the level of authority, hospital officials, Union of ID-based authentication model is proposed to use a patient's vital information. Union proposed model identify different authentication system is used in hospitals that exist in various forms in a number of ID information, health / medical information sharing between hospitals without exposure to unnecessary personal information, you can be assured of the anonymity. In particular, with easy access to patient information, hospital officials about the malicious act to protect patient information to access level for the rights granted by third parties to prevent easy access.

Security solution by that importance of security rises so is developing together Security solution is developing to ESM system in existing single system and important thing is function of each security solution and optimizing design of policy. Existent security policy taking a serious view security from external invasion but security of interior the importance rise the today. Accordingly, must construct ESM system of new structure for this. This paper proposes and embodied integration security administration system that solidify interior security utilizing IDS.   • Due to the rapid development of Internet technology, qualities of Web services are steadily improving and the Web database systems are actively employed to efficiently manage proper informations in various fields. In this paper, we propose a Web database system for the efficient material management for reusing construction materials. The proposed Web-based management system is operated using the spring framework, after constructing a database based on the collected data including tag ID, Location, Material, State, and Cycle, using the RFID(: Radion Frequency IDentification) system equipped with a location estimation module. Recently, the processing problem for a large amount of the residues generated at the demolition stage of various buildings is magnified in the construction site. The proposed Web-based construction material management system is expected for improving the processing problem as increasing the reusability and for reducing the construction cost as efficiently managing the construction materials for the reuse.

  • 전통적인 IDS는 단일 시스템, 단일 환경하의 침입 탐지만을 제공하므로, 보안대상 제한, 유연성 한계, 다양한 형태의 침입탐지 불가 등의 문제점이 대두되고 있다. 최근 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 여러 IDS의 침입정보를 통합, 분석하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. IDWG는 IDS간 상호운용을 지원하고자 침입정보 전송 프로토콜과 메시지 친환 형태를 표준화하는 작업을 진행하고 있다. 본 논문은 이 기종 IDS 관리 및 침입정보 통합을 위한 테스트베드 구축 과정을 제시한다. 단위 IDS는 Snort와 Snare를 사용하였으며, 국제표준을 준수하는 RoadRunner 라이브러리를 이용하였다.

Analysis of Strategies for Quality Assurance in Online Education: The Implications of the Role of an Instructional Design Team to Support Faculty

  • This study investigates faculty support for quality assurance in online education, and offers suggestions for its improvement based on feedback from Instructional Design (ID) staff working at a public university in the U.S. Qualitative research using semi-structured interviews was conducted with seven ID staff in order to examine their perceptions regarding faculty support related to quality assurance in online education. The results of the data analysis indicate that four types of faculty support-quality assurance reviews using Quality Matter (QM) standards, templates, individual consultations with ongoing support, and monitoring-were offered for faculty. Faculty support for quality assurance in online education could be improved by developing specific quality assurance standards, recruiting external experts, examining learning effects, developing a quality assurance management system, and sharing documents among ID staff. This study highlights the necessity of quality assurance in online education and provides cases of faculty support in a real higher education setting.
