Due to the rise of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) adoption in many fields, it is necessary to diagnose the informatization situations of corporations in agriculture and give suggestions for improvement. For this goal, surveys were designed and conducted to understand the current informatization situations of agriculture corporations in Korea. The survey covers the plan for utilizing information technology, the establishment of infrastructure for information technology, IT application status, and its effect on their performance. The specific focus of our research is to segment the corporations by their type of industries and their level of sales and give differentiated managerial implications for each segment. This is because the type of informatization and information technology assistance they need highly depends on their industry type and sales level. The standardized procurement of supervisory cost for the construction of domestic Information and Communication Technology(ICT) facilities, which is announced by the Korea Engineering and Construction Association in May 2009, has been applied in the public institutions and private industries. However, the previous standardized procurement is not widely applied in recent years because the ICT and social economic environment have been rapidly changed and the previous equations to calculate the supervisory cost is not simplified. As results, the needs for a new standardized procurement has been increased and the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Energy has published a notice with new standard procurement. In this paper, we provide the explanation of the background and the derivation process of the notice based on authors' experiences of project participation. As research method, we compare the previous mad-day cost of ICT construction and that of another area including electric facility construction, and then we explain a new procurement equation based on WBS(Work Breakdown Structure).

In this paper, to prevent accidents of school vehicles used by students, which have emerged as a continuous social problem, a boarding and leaving notification system using Bluetooth beacons is proposed. The platform structure uses Bluetooth, a smartphone, and an application, and provides real-time message reception between parents and teachers. It is not simply a system with Bluetooth capability alone, but also an IcT technology that is closely related to real life using two-way communication. The purpose is to provide user-friendly ICT technology as an integrated system for more practical effects. Two-way exchange of information between parents and teachers using cloud servers is made possible. By using this Bluetooth beacon notification system, safety accidents in student vehicles are reduced, which brings confidence from traffic accidents to schoolchildren of parents and teachers. Therefore, it is expected that parents and teachers are expected to improve their mental stability and quality of life from traffic accidents.

This research is part of the Korean-ASEAN Official Development Assistance (ODA) project, specifically exploring the possibility of using public libraries as a place for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) literacy training for women from ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries. Women from ASEAN countries are often minorities in ICT capacity building. A survey of 1,000 female public library users - 100 people from each of the ten ASEAN countries - and in-depth interviews with librarians from national libraries were conducted. The survey results showed that 68.8% of respondents perceived public libraries as a suitable place for ICT literacy training. 27.5% of respondents visited libraries for ICT-related activities, including information retrieval, e-mail, SNS, etc., Meanwhile, findings from the interviews highlighted the importance of having up-to-date ICT infrastructure - computers, Internet, professional ICT skill training for librarians, strategic planning for policies, budgets, and cooperation with other related institutions - in public libraries in order to provide effective ICT training.

In the maritime industry, the convergence of information and communication technology (ICT) occurs in two areas. The first one is the convergence of e-navigation technology to apply ICT to the maritime domain. This was led by EU's initiative and is also being promoted in our country. The other one is the convergence of autonomous ship technology to apply various ICT technologies for commercial purposes. This initiative is being led by maritime industries. In this paper, we describe trends of e-navigation and maritime autonomous surface ship technology convergence. Subsequently, we explain the standardization status of performance and technical standard bodies, international standardization organizations, and related standard-developing organizations to provide the interoperability of these technologies. Finally, we examine ongoing projects in Korea and suggest future directions for their R&D and standardization.

According to many conceptual researches and discourses, development of information-communication technology(ICT) has made great influences upon activities on time and space. But some empirical studies have shown that its influence in the real world is not so great as we may expect In order to avoid these two oppositional views, this paper wants to put interests on socio-spatial relationships or networks, rather than individual phenomena or consciousness, which have been transformed under the influence of ICT. The development of ICT presupposes a creation of information network, and hence the term 'etwork social space' can be used to see its spatial influence, which would be further understood with the theory of actor-network. This paper also suggests that network social space has three strata, that is, 'nstant' 'unctional 'and 'aterial' and that network social space can be emphasized not only as newly emerging social space but also as reconstruction of subjects' identity through his/her participation into information network as its node.

Recently, the biggest interest in education, education using ICT(Information and Communication Technology) is being emphasized excessively and only the practical side is being embossed on the research about it, so it is causing worry that it is inclined to technical use. In this study, we tried to prepare the strategy for efficient use of ICT in search of theoretical level on use of ICT as an alternative plan for these problems. First, we defined the concept of efficient use of ICT and fixed high thinking of human as basic authority cited for deduction of strategy and analyzed Integrated Thinking Model of Iowa State Dept. of Education. We categorized synthetic thinking for efficient use of ICT through these works. In addition, we classified ICT for efficient use into software area, hardware area, and use skill area, and observed each concepts and interrelationship. And we argued 'Decision Authority of Relation between Thinking Area and ICT Area' to examine relation between synthetic thinking category and each area of ICT, and we established concretization of that, 'Analysis Matrix for Deduction of ICE-EUS'. We tried to guarantee the propriety of deduction process and the clearness of deduction result through this works. Through this process we finally deduct the ICT-EUS(Efficient-Use Strategy of ICT) about learning resources, learning tools, tutee, searching, communication, production and presentation of ICT area. ICT-EUS is expected to provide possibility of being able to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of achievement of learning goals through cognitive analysis about learning resources, tools and use skills beyond simple use of ICT.

Smart agriculture and livestock is one of convergence technology which is combined smart technology based on ICT(Information and Communication Technology) and all processes of agriculture and livestock. Sensor data technology in smart agriculture and livestock is considered with important factor as base technology for measurement and collection of environment condition, management of product quality status. In this paper, Sensor technology and standardization trend for smart agriculture and livstock is investigated. Results of this study can be used as basic data for smart agriulture and livestock standardization which is curently under proecssing at domestic and abroad.

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) provides many opportunities for businesses to increase productivity, to have better relationships with customers and suppliers, and to develop new products more efficiently and effectively. However, recently, there have been claims that ICT development in a country would increase income inequality of the country. In this debate, we examine the impact of ICT development on the income inequality at the country level. Data of 28 OECD countries were used for our study. According to results of the analysis, a country with a higher level of ICT development is likely to have a lower the level of income inequality. There have been many concerns that development of ICTs may result in a higher level of income inequality mainly because wealthy companies or individuals can more affordable to utilize advanced ICT and ICTs have replaced labor. However, there has been no such identified impact, at least in recent OECD countries. Rather, we can expect ICT development to play a role in lowering income inequality of a country.
