As the complexity of an electronic device and the reduction of its operating voltage is progressing, susceptibility test of the chip and module for internal or external noises is essential. Although the immunity compliance of the chip was served with IEC 62132-4 Direct Power Injection method as an industry standard, in fact, EM immunity of the chip is influenced by their Power Domain Network (PDN). This paper evaluates the EM noise tolerance of a PLL and compares their noise transfer characteristics to the PLL on various PCB boards. To make differences of the PDNs of PCBs, various PCBs with or without LDO and with several types of capacitors are tested. For evaluation of discrepancies between EM characteristics of an IC only and the IC on real boards, the analysis of the noise transfer characteristics according to the PDNs shows that it gives important information for the design having robust EM characteristics. DPI measurement results show that greatly improved immunity of the PLL in the low-frequency region according to using the LDO and a frequency change of the PLL according to the DPI could also check with TEM cell measurement spectrum.
The FPGAs are semiconductors that can be redesigned after initial fabrication. It is used in various embedded systems such as signal processing, automotive industry, defense and military systems. However, as the complexity of hardware design increases and the design and manufacturing process globalizes, there is a growing concern about hardware trojan inserted into hardware. Many detection methods have been proposed to mitigate this threat. However, existing methods are mostly targeted at IC chips, therefore it is difficult to apply to FPGAs that have different components from IC chips, and there are few detection studies targeting FPGA chips. In this paper, we propose a method to detect hardware trojan by learning the static features of hardware trojan in LUT-level netlist of FPGA using machine learning.

Metal matrix composites have a great interest in recent years because high specific strength, high specific stiffness characteristics, and application ranges of the composites are extend to variety industry. In this paper, an investigation was performed on the plane strain fracture toughness and slinding wear properties of AC4CH alloy(Al-Si-Mg line) reinforced with 20wt% aluminum borate whisker expect one, which contained a inorganic binder($TiO_2$). the binder led to the formation of strengthen the whisker each other. The test of fracture toughness was using CT(half size) specimen of thickness 12.5mm, width 25mm. and test of slinding wear of using tribo a pin-on-disk machine and lubricant is used without paraffine 8.2CST at room temperature. As results, Fracture toughness $K_{IC}$ is $8.7MPa-m^{05}$ for ABOw/AC4CH, $9.28MPa-m^{05}$ for ABOw/AC4CH added $TiO_2$. but AC4CH alloy was violated the critical stipulated by ASTM standard for valid measurement of $K_{IC}$. In case of, it was performed $J_{IC}$ test instead of $K_{IC}$ based on ASTM E 1820.
Specific antibodies were produced to develope the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for analysis of soy proteins and the properties of the antibodies were compared. Isolate soy protein(ISP), and ISP heated with SDS and urea (ISP(SU)), acidic subunits(AS) of 11S globulin were immunized to produce polyclonal antibodies. By using competitive indirect ELISA(ciELISA), the reactivities of the antibodies toward soy proteins treated with different methods were investigated and shown as $IC_{50}$. $IC_{50}'s$ of anti-ISP antibodies to ISP, ISP(SU), ISP treated with 2-ME(ISP(ME)), and crude 11S were 20, 30, 36, and $1000\;{\mu}g/mL$, respectively. And the values of anti-ISP(SU) antibodies to the same antigens were 100, 5, 4, and $220\;{\mu}g/mL$ and those of anti-AS antibodies were 20, 2, 2.5, and $200\;{\mu}g/mL$, respectively. Therefore, anti-AS antibodies showed the highest reactivities toward soy proteins among the produced antibodies as determined by ciELISA.
As the domestic chemical industry continues to develop, handling and transportation of chemicals increases every year. Road freight in Korea accounts for more than 90%, and most of the chemical transportation is done through roads. These chemical vehicles can lead to major accidents if accidents occur. Transportation vehicles are likely to cause water pollution and soil pollution, which are factors of environmental damage, as well as traffic accidents that are the primary damage. In this work, we write a scenario for hydrogen chloride gas leakage by setting Banpo IC and Seocho IC sections as research areas, and use the ALOHA program to measure the predicted distance and analyze the time when hydrogen chloride gas reached according to the distance. In addition, risk assessment using population density was carried out for areas of damage caused by time using GIS. This suggests the need for prevention and countermeasures in areas of damage.
The Korea government has been pursuing various policies to find a new industrial growth engine based on ICT (Industry and Communication Technology). However, ICT industry recently faces a serious crisis due to a lack of fundamental competitiveness and capital and technological gap with other countries. Accordingly, it is necessary for ICT industry to recognize the rapidly changing competitive business environment and to establish appropriate value-based strategies. This paper analyses factors affecting value-based strategy in the Korean ICT industry using 10 years data set. The result shows that the value-based strategy in the Korean ICT companies has a significant influence on their financial performance. In addition, it is confirmed that the competition level in the industry has a significant moderating effect on this relationship. In addition, when the companies are categorized based on performance, it is confirmed that there is a significant difference in competition level and value-based strategy in each categories. The results of this paper are expected to suggest implications for the effective use of balanced value-based strategies in the ICT industry.

The aims of this study were to examine the efficacy of phytochemicals of Rumex crispus as anti-oxidant and anti-browning agent. The bioactive properties of Rumex crispus as natural colorants were studied by total phenolic contents, DPPH radical scavenging, ABTS radical scavenging, lipid peroxidation, cell viability, singlet oxygen quenching and photoprotection effect. Among all of the results ($IC_{50}$: the concentration of various extracts required to exert 50% reducing effect), the higher activity of the extract was found in the ethyl acetate and butanol extracts. Anti-browning activity was evaluated by monitoring the change $L^*$, $a^*$, $b^*$ values and total color differences(${\Delta}E$). It was found that ethyl acetate and butanol extracts effectively inhibited browning in apple juice at a concentration below 0.3 mg/ml. Rumex crispus extracts used natural colorants could be of good resources as anti-oxidant and anti-browning agents. The results suggest that our study may contribute to the development of natural and functional materials with potential application to reduce oxidative damage.
This study prepared functional oyster hydrolysates using two-step enzymatic hydrolysis and investigated their functional properties. To prepare two-step enzymatic hydrolysates (TSEH), oysters were hydrolyzed using 1% Protamex (PR) at $40^{\circ}C$ and pH 6.0 for 1 hr before sequential treatment with one of the following enzymes for 1 hr: Alcalase (AL), Flavourzyme (FL), Neutrase (NE), pepsin (PE), and trypsin (TR). The PRAL, PRNE and PRTR hydrolysates had significantly greater angiotensin I converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory activity than did PR and the other TSEHs. Only the antioxidant activity of the PRNE hydrolysate was significantly different (p<0.05), while none of the TSEHs had antimicrobial activity. The oyster hydrolysate prepared by sequential treatment with Protamex and Neutrase (PRNE) had the best ACE inhibitory activity and antioxidant activity, with $IC_{50}$ values of 0.40 and 0.94 mg/mL, respectively. The PRNE hydrolysate was processed through an ultrafiltration (UF) series with molecular weight cut-off (MWCO) membranes of 3, 5, 10, and 30 kDa, and the ACE inhibitory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial activities of the permeates were determined. The permeate through the 3-kDa MWCO membrane had greater ACE inhibitory activity and antioxidant activity than did the other PRNE permeates, with $IC_{50}$ values of 0.11 and 0.40 mg/mL, respectively.
Plant essential oils are used in products such as fragrances and cosmetics due to their individual aromatic characteristics. Currently, essential oils are not only used in cosmetics but also in pharmaceutical products with anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-parasitic, insecticidal, anti-cancer, neuroprotective, psychophysiological, or anti-aging effects. Despite their pharmaceutical properties, some studies reported cytotoxic effects in high doses. Therefore, for pharmaceutical purposes, the margin of safety of essential oils needs to be examined. Herein, we evaluated the IC50 of 10 essential oil from Korean native plants: Juniperus chinensis L. var. sargentii Henry, Citrus natsudaidai Hayata, Citrus reticulata Blanco, Citrus unshiu (Yu. Tanaka ex Swingle) Marcow, Artemisia capillaris Thunb, Aster glehnii F. Schmidt, Juniperus chinensis L, Zanthoxylum schinifolium Siebold & Zucc, Zanthoxylum piperitum (L.) D, and Cinnamomum loureirii. In addition, gene regulation of the cell-cycle gene and apoptosis marker CASP3 was examined at the IC50 level. The purpose of this study was to describe the toxic concentrations of essential oils extracted from Korean native plants, thereby providing toxic concentration guidelines for inclusion in a toxicity database and in the application of plant essential oils in various fields.

Clerodendrum trichotomum (CT) leaves and stems have been used in folk medicine for their anti-hypertension, arthritis, rheumatism, and anti-inflammatory properties. This study was performed to evaluate the potential of CT as an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. CT leaves were extracted using 70% ethanol (EtOH). Then, using this extract, a hexane, chloroform ($CHCl_3$), ethyl acetate (EtOAc), and n-butanol (BuOH) fraction was prepared. The polyphenol contents were higher in the EtOAc fraction ($78.08{\mu}g/mg$) and BuOH fraction ($77.54{\mu}g/mg$) compared to the other fractions. Also, these two fractions exhibited strong 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and 2,2'-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) (ABTS) radical scavenging activities. Xanthine oxidase inhibitory activities were higher in the $CHCl_3$ fraction ($IC_{50}=4.43{\mu}g/ml$) and EtOAc fraction ($IC_{50}=5.69{\mu}g/ml$). Moreover, the EtOAc fraction effectively inhibited nitric oxide (NO) production in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells ($IC_{50}=18.87{\mu}g/ml$). Thus, we investigated the effects of the EtOAc fraction on the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines, inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells. The treatment of the EtOAc fraction ($100{\mu}g/ml$) effectively decreased the levels of the tumor necrosis factor ${\alpha}$ ($TNF-{\alpha}$) and interleukin-6 (IL-6), and the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). These results suggest the potential for CT extract and fractions as promising anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory agents.
