The nuclear magnetic resonance of the $^{23}Na$ nucleus in a $NaBrO_3$ single crystal was investigated at the temperature range of 200 K~410 K. The tendencies of temperature dependence of the nuclear quadrupole coupling for the two magnetically inequivalent Na(I) and Na(II) centers are found to be opposite to each other. The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation mechanism of $^{23}Na$ in the $NaBrO_3$ crystal is investigated, and the result revealed that the Raman process is dominant in the temperature range investigated. The relaxation process of the $^{23}Na$ nuclear spins was well described by a single exponential function in time. The $T_1$ values of the $^{23}Na$ nuclei in the $NaBrO_3$ single crystal decreased with increasing temperature. The calculated activation energy for the $^{23}Na$ is $0.032{\pm}0.002eV$.

During the research for the development of antitumor agents. we found the 3-arylisoquinoline derivatives exhibited potent cytotoxicity against human tumor cell lines. For extending our study on these compounds. indeno[1.2-c]isoquinolines were chosen as the next research target due to previous studied data of the compounds that showed potent topoisomerase I inhibition activity as well as cytotoxicity against many kinds of tumor cell lines. Retrosynthetic consideration of indeno[1.2-d]isoquinolines indicates that the coupling of o-methyltoluamide with o-hydroxymethylbenxonitrile might afford 3-arylisoquinoline which could be translerred to the aldehtde. Indeno [1.2-c]isoquinolines can be formed by and inframolecular ring cyclization method. Various derlvatives of this compound including 11-alkoxy-6-methyl-6H. 11H-indeno[1.2-c]isoquinolin-5-one and biological activity will be presented with the docking model with topisomerase 1 enzyme.
The column-type sensing element in building and mechanical construction parts was designed as three forces and three moments sensor by attaching strain gages approximately. Compared to conventional multi-component sensor, the designed sensor can solve the problem about low stiffness and high cost. The radius of the column was designed analytically and compared with finite element analysis. The coupling errors between components were minimized by using addition and subtraction procedure of signals. The fabricated sensor was tested by using a deadweight force standard machine and a six-component force calibration machine in Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science(KRISS). The calibration showed that the multi-component force/moment sensor had coupling error less than 19.8 % between $F_x$ and $M_y$ components, and 9.0 % in case of other components.
The two competing theories of star formation are based on turbulence and ambipoar diffusion. I will first briefly explain the two theories. There have been analytical (or semi-analytic) models, which estimate star formation rates in a turbulent cloud. Most of them are based on the log-normal density PDF (probability density function) of the turbulent cloud without self-gravity. I will first show that the core (star) formation rate can be increased significantly once self-gravity of a turbulence cloud is taken into account. I will then present the evolution of molecular line profiles of HCO+ and C18O toward a dense core that is forming inside a magnetized turbulent molecular cloud. Features of the profiles can be affected more significantly by coupled velocity and abundance structures in the outer region than those in the inner dense part of the core. During the evolution of the core, the asymmetry of line profiles easily changes from blue to red, and vice versa. Finally, I will introduce a method for incorporating ambipolar diffusion in the strong coupling approximation into a multidimensional magnetohydrodynamic code.
In this paper the structural dielectric and piezoelectric properties of Pb[(M $g_{1}$2// $W_{1}$2/)$_{x}$-(N $i_{1}$3//N $b_{2}$3/)$_{0.15-x-(Zr_{0.5})}$$Ti_{0.5}$)$_{0.85}$] $O_3$ (x=0.0~0.10) ceramic were investigated with the substitution of Pb(M $g_{1}$2// $W_{1}$2/) $O_3$. According to the substitution of Pb(M $g_{1}$2//W/1/2/) $O_3$ curie temperatures were slightly decrease due to the decrease of the tetrag-onality of crystal structure and coercive fields were decreased. Up to the substitution of Pb(M $g_{1}$2// $W_{1}$2/) $O_3$ 3mol%,remnant polarization dielectric constant piezoelectric constant were increased. Dielectric constant and electro-mechanical coupling factor( $k_{p}$, $k_{31}$ ) were appeared the highest value of 2230, 0.64, and 0.38 and piezoelectric constant( $d_{33}$ , $d_{31}$ ) was the largest value of 418, 202($\times$10$^{-12}$ /C/N), respectively, when the substitution amount of Pb(M $g_{1}$2// $W_{1}$2/N) respectively, when the substitution amount of Pb(M $g_{1}$2// $W_{1}$2/) $O_3$ was 3mol%.s 3mol%.%.
In this study, Pb(La Ce)$TiO_3$ composition ceramics were manufactured for 20 MHz resonator application. Electromechanical coupling factor, mechanical quality factor and dynamic range of thickness vibration mode were measured as the variations of L/T(length/thickness) ratio of ceramic substrats. Mechanical quality factor and dynamic range of third overtone thickness vibration mode showed the highest value of 2,773 and 52.22 dB at specimen S4(l/t=12), respectively. The excellent temperature stability of resonant frequency suitable for resonator application was shown, regardless of thermal shock.
o-Aminobenzene sulfone-N-ethylanilide, the diazo component of C.I. Acid Red 57, is currently being diazotised by the use of nitrosylsulphuric acid because of its high molecular weight and weak basicity. However, this method has many problems such as complicated manufacturing process and discharge of large volume of strong acidic effluent. In this study, the possibility of replacing nitrosylsulphuric acid method by direct method, which is simpler and produces less effluent, has been checked and the optimum process condition was studied. The effect of HCl concentration, the amount of sodium nitrite and particle size of diazo component on diazotisation yield was investigated. The optimum pH condition for coupling reaction was also evaluated.
Accurate measurements of the microwave surface resistance (Rs) of high temperature superconductor (HTS) films are important with regard to applications of HTS materials for wireless communications. As the surface resistance values of HTS films are usually extracted from the measured unloaded quality factor ($Q_0$) of resonators made of HTS films, it is essential to measure the resonator $Q_0$ with accuracy. The $TE_{011}\;mode\;Q_0$ of sapphire resonators with the endplates made of $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-{\delta}}$(YBCO) film on $LaAlO_3$ is measured by using the S-parameter circle-fit method at a frequency of about 19.6 GHz and temperatures of 30 K to 90 K, which is compared with the measured values by using the Lorentzian-fit method. Good agreements are found between the two sets of $Q_0$ values measured by using the two different methods whether the resonator is used in a weak-coupling scheme or a strong-coupling scheme, showing reliability of both methods fur measuring the resonator $Q_0$ accurately. The $Q_0$ of sapphire resonators with a gap between the top plate and the rest of the resonator is also discussed.
The new field of learning control develops controllers that learn to improve their performance at executing a given task, based on experience performing this task. The simplest forms of learning control are based on the same concept as integral control, but operating in the domain of the repetitions of the task. In the previous paper, I had studied the use of such controllers in a decentralized system, such as a robot with the controller for each link acting independently. The basic result of the paper is to show that stability of the learning controllers for all subsystems when the coupling between subsystems is turned off, assures stability of the decentralized learning in the coupled system, provided that the sample time in the digital learning controller is sufficiently short. In this paper, we present two examples. The first illustrates the effect of coupling between subsystems in the system dynamics, and the second studies the application of decentralized learning control to robot problems. The latter example illustrates the application of decentralized learning control to nonlinear systems, and also studies the effect of the coupling between subsystems introduced in the input matrix by the discretization of the system equations. The conclusion is that for sufficiently small learning gain, and sufficiently small sample time, the simple learning control law based on integral control applied to each robot axis will produce zero tracking error in spite o the dynamic coupling in the robot equations. Of course, the results of this paper have much more general application than just to the robotics tracking problem. Convergence in decentralized systems is seen to depend only on the input and output matrices, provided the sample time is suffiently small.
In this work, we applied the 1D $11^B$ nutation NMR method for the analysis of the local structural environments in powdered borosilicates $(SiO_2-B_2O_3)$. Spin dynamics during a rf irradiation for spin I=3/2 was analytically calculated with a density ma trix formalism. Spectral simulation programs were written in MATLAB on a PC. Two borosilicates prepared by the sol-gel process at different stabilization temperature were used for the 1D $11^B$ nutation NMR experiment. The $11^B$ NMR parameters, quadrupole coupling constants $(e^2qQ/h)$ and asymmetry parameters (η), for each borosilicate were extracted from the nonlinear least-squares fitting. The effects of heat treatments on the local structures of boron sites in borosilicates were discussed.
