전기자동차 배터리 안정성 확보를 위한 냉각장치 열특성 연구 (A Study on the Thermal Characteristics of Cooling System for Securing Battery Stability in Electric Vehicle)

  • The battery of an electric vehicle is a key part of the energy supply to operate the vehicles. There are many factors affecting battery life such as charging method, discharge rate, and ambient temperature those are requires systematic monitoring and management. To solve the issues like environmental problems and fuel consumption reduction the battery needs more performance improvement. In this study, it was analyzed the thermal characteristics and securing battery stability for electric vehicle battery cooling system. The simulation test was operated using GT-suite software with several conditions like cooling capacity 1, 2 and 4 kW, cooling flow rate 5, 10, 20 and 30 LPM, and battery initial temperatures 40, 35, and 30℃ at the temperature of ambient 25℃. The results shown that the case of cooling flow rate at 20 LPM was most efficient among all above conditions.

하수슬러지의 Biochar특성을 이용한 토양내 중금속 제거 연구 (A Study on the Removal of Heavy Metals in Soil by Sewage Sludge Biochar)

  • This study proposed a low temperature hydrothermal carbonization to treat and recycle sewage sludge and determined the optimal conditions for the biochar production. The physical and chemical properties of biochar were analyzed and its sorption capacity for heavy metals was evaluated. To produce biochar, 50 g of sewage sludge was heated at 220, 230, and $240^{\circ}C$ for 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, and 10 hours in a reactor. The optimal conditions to produce biochar was $230^{\circ}C$ and 8 hours. Sorption capacity tests were conducted for arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu), lead (Pb), zinc (Zn) and nickel (Ni). Among them, lead was shown the highest heavy metal adsorption efficiency of biochar, followed by copper, cadmium, zinc, and nickel, but arsenic was hardly adsorbed overall.

이산화탄소 냉매를 이용한 냉동탑차용 핀-관 증발기의 서리성장에 따른 열교환기 성능에 관한 해석적 연구 (Theoretical Study on Heat Exchanger Performance of a Fin-tube Evaporator with Frost Growth in a $CO_2$ Refrigerator Truck)

  • To analyze the cooling performance of fin-tube evaporator in the refrigerator truck using R744 according to frost growth, the analytical model of evaporator was developed under frost and non-frost conditions. The performance of fin-tube evaporator was investigated with frost thickness and indoor temperature. Besides, the performance of evaporator under frost condition was compared to that under non-frost condition. As a result, area of air passage and system performance were decreased as the frost thickness increased. The cooling capacity was reduced by 10%, 20%, 30% when the frost thickness was 0.7 mm, 1.1 mm, and 1.6 mm respectively. At these conditions, the block ratio was 31%, 48%, and 71%. In addition, the outlet quality of refrigerant was not over 1 when the frost thickness was 1.6 mm in spite of high indoor air temperature.

열원의 온도변화에 따른 겨울철 태양열-지열 하이브리드 R22 열펌프의 성능에 관한 해석적 연구 (Theoretical Study on the Performance in a Solar-Geothermal Hybrid R22 Heat Pump During Winter Season according to Heat Source Temperature)

  • The Solar and geothermal energy have many advantage like low cost, non-toxic, and unlimited. But those the have very low energy efficiency. In this study, the theoretical study of performance in a sola-geothermal hybrid heat pump with operating conditions has carried out. As a result, as the solar radiation increases from 1 $MJ/m^2$ to 20 $MJ/m^2$, the heat pump operating time decreases by 19.5% from 18 times to 14.5 times and the heat pump heat decreases by 23%. Besides, the heating COP increases by 21.4% when the evaporator inlet temperature increases from $11^{\circ}C$ to $19^{\circ}C$. By adapting the geothermal system into a solar hybrid R22 heat pump, the system performance and reliability increases significantly for variable operating conditions during winter season.

타원관 열교환기를 적용한 팬코일 유닛의 운전 조건이 무차원 성능계수에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Operating Conditions of a Fan-Coil Unit with an Oval Tube Type Heat Exchanger on Non-Dimensional Performance Coefficient)

  • In this study, the effect of operating conditions of fan-coil unit with an oval tube type heat exchanger on its non-dimensional performance coefficient has been investigated. Pressure drops and heat transfer rates were measured under heating condition for various water flow rates, inlet temperatures and wind speeds. As a non-dimensional performance coefficient, Colburn j-factor was evaluated. The results show that the most sensitive parameter on heat flux is the inlet temperature, which affects the heat flux 4.7 and 7.2 times more than the wind speed and water flow rate, respectively. On the other hand, the Colburn j-factor as a non-dimensionalized index decreases with the wind speed, and has an maximum when the wind speed is about 1 m/s. the Colburn j-factor increases slowly with the water flow rate and inlet temperature but at a certain range of inlet temperature, the opposite phenomenon is found.

  • 본 연구에서는 수열성장법을 이용해서 알루미늄 수화물인 깁사이트로부터 코런덤($\alpha$-$Al_2O_3$) 단결정 분말을 제조하였으며, 주요 반응인자로서 광화제와 성장기질의 특성이 생성물의 입도분포와 결정성에 미치는 영향을 조사했다. 실험결과 성장용액의 용해도를 증가시키기 위해 광화제로 사용된 KOH의 첨가량이 증가할수록 코런덤 입자의 크기가 커졌고, 수열반응 온도는 낮아졌으나, 영양제인 깁사이트의 농도가 증가할수록 합성된 코런덤 입자는 작아졌다. 성장기질의 물성특성 차이에 따라 수열합성 조건이 달라졌다. 수열합성을 통해 400~$470^{\circ}C$인 반응온도 범위에서 1~10 $\mu \t extrm{m}$ 정도의 중량평균 입경을 갖는 육방정의 코런덤 결정을 합성하였다.

국내산 규조토의 수열반응에 의한 Kaolinite질 인공점토의 합성에 관한 연구 (The Synthesis of Kaolinitic Clay Minerals from Domestic Diatomite by Hydrothermal Process)

  • The synthesis of kaolinite mineral from domestic diatomite for silica resource, commercial vailable gibbsite or alumina for alumina resource were made under various hydrothermal treatment, and the sythetic effect of acidic mineralizers, temperature treatment with time duration, particle size of alumina on formation of kaolinite mineral and the plastic properties of synthesized kaolinite were investigated. The various acidic mineralizers which are HCl, HNO3, H2SO4 and Oxalic acid were employed for hydrothermal reaction in the range of 0.01 mol/ι to 2 mol/ι concentration of each mineralizers. It was found that HCl in the level of 1 mol/ι solution produced highly yields of well-crystallized and platy form kaolinite mineral and gave the most effective extraction of iron oxide, compared to that of others, that HNO3 produced highly yield of kaolinite but lower extraction of iron oxide, that H2SO4 produced low yield of kaolinite and formed alunite mineral, and that oxialic acid formed spherical crystalline kaolinite and gave low extraction of iron oxide. Moreover, it showed that kaolinite minerals were well synthesized in a wide range of less than 2 mol/ι acids, but were poorly synthesized at more than 2 mol/ι acids. However, boehmite and kaolinite were coexistently formed in the temperature range of 18$0^{\circ}C$ and 20$0^{\circ}C$ when the calcined diatomite and gibbsite were involved. The well-ordered kaolinite mineral as a platy form was highly synthesized in the temperature range of 220 and 24$0^{\circ}C$, when the same marterials as above were used with treatment of 1 mol/ι HCl solution. The results also revealed that the size of crystalline platy form kaolinite, synthesized from alumina and calcined diatomite with treatment in 1 mol/ιHCl solution at 24$0^{\circ}C$, was much larger than that of gibbsite and calcined diatomite shown previously, and that kaolinite and corundum minerals were coexistently formed under any hydrothermal treatment conditions. The plasticity of synthesized kaolinite from under 2 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ alumina and calcined diatomite was very poor, and that of the synthesized kaolinite from raw diatomite and gibbsite gave higher than that of calcined diatomite and gibbsite.
