수소 충전소 충전기의 정량적 안전성 평가 (Quantitative Safety Assessment for Hydrogen Station Dispenser)

  • This study is quantitatively assessing of safety about dispenser of hydrogen station because it is hydrogen energy to efficient safety use. The large leakage of hydrogen gas is the most important accident among others occurrence possibility in hydrogen station. It had written FT by top event and calculated unavailability, m-cutsets, leakage frequency, etc with FTA after each base event collect reliability data by reliability data handbook, THERP-HRA and estimation of the engineering.

  • This study is about the qualitative safety assessment for hydrogen gas filling facilities in Korea operating with one-bank type. The purpose of this safety assessment is about the development of components for design, fabrication, assembly, operability of dispenser and systems of the safety. For the qualitative safety assessment method, the study used FMEA(failure mode & effect analysis) and HAZOP(hazard & operability). This study evaluated the safety through FMEA and HAZOP then by referring to P&ID and PFD of hydrogen dispenser, thereby examining the dangerousness of the equipments, defects of the structure and problems of the operation.

수소 충전소 연료계량방법의 차이에서 발생하는 연료단가의 상이점에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Variation of Unit Price of Hydrogen Fuel by Difference of Fuel Measuring Method)

  • Korea government decides to build one hundred hydrogen refueling stations (HRS) until 2020 and tries to disseminate HRS and boosts HRS market in korea. Naepo HRS in chungnam province has been operated for last one full year of 2016 and recorded 2,520 times full charge for the hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicles and total 6,016 kg hydrogen fueling for the 25 units of hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicles. Raw fuel of hydrogen from tube trailer measured by pressure, converting into weight of hydrogen and shows 19.6% surplus with final charged weight by dispenser. This result is caused measuring errors. Measured charged errors between dispenser and Mass flow meter was determined 13.13%.

  • Hydrogen energy as an alternative source of energy has been receiving tremendous support around the world, and research is being actively conducted accordingly. However, most of the studies focus on hydrogen storage tanks and only are few studies on interpreting the hydrogen filling system itself. In this study, with reference to SAE J2601, a hydrogen fueling protocol, a simulation model was developed that can confirm the behavior of the vehicle's internal tank during hydrogen fueling. With respect to factors such as fuel supply temperature, ambient temperature, and pressure increase rate, the developed model can check the change of temperature and pressure in the tank and the state of hydrogen charging during hydrogen fueling. The validity of the developed simulation model was confirmed by comparing the simulation results with the experimental results presented in SAE J2601.

고정식 수소충전소에서의 Dispenser Module 내 구역별 위험성 평가 (Risk Assessment of Stationary Hydrogen Refueling Station by Section in Dispenser Module)

  • 신재생에너지로서 수소에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있으나 기존의 화석 연료와 달리 수소는 연료 공급을 위한 전용 충전소가 필요하며, 이러한 인프라 확보를 위해서 수소충전소의 위험성 평가가 선행되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 정성적 위험성평가와 정량적 위험성 평가로 구분하여 수소충전소에 대한 위험성평가를 수행하였다. 정성적 평가는 Hazard and Operability Analysis(HAZOP) 기법을 사용하여 Dispenser Module을 두 개의 Node로 평가하였으며, Criticality Estimation Matrix에 따라 Filter의 막힘으로 인한 사고와 고압 사고의 위험도가 High Level로 평가되었다. 정량적 위험성 평가는 Hydrogen Korea Risk Assessment Module(Hy-KoRAM)을 사용하여 화재의 형상과 피해영향범위를 나타냈고, 개인적 위험도와 사회적 위험도에 대한 평가를 수행하였다. 개인적 위험도는 수소충전소로부터 약 100m 떨어진 공공시설 부근까지 추가적인 안전조치가 고려되는 As Low As Reasonably Practicable(ALARP) 구간의 위험도를 보였고, 사회적 위험도 역시 약 10명의 사망자가 발생할 사고빈도가 1E-04/year로 도출되며 ALARP 구간 내에 나타났다. 정성적·정량적 위험성 평가 결과, 공정 단계의 추가적인 안전 조치와 수소충전소 부근의 제한구역 설정을 통하여 안전성 향상 방안을 제시하였다.

  • Hydrogen energy is expanding in range for civil use together with development of pollution-free power sources recently, and it is judged that the use of hydrogen will increase more as a part of carbon dioxide reduction measures according to the Climatic Change Convention. Especially, it is thought that the securement of safety of the used dispenser will be the biggest obstacle in the use of high-pressure hydrogen because the hydrogen station is operated in a high pressure. This study found risks in the process and problems on operation by making use of HAZOP(6 kinds), a qualitative safety evaluation technique, and FMEA(5 kinds), a fault mode effect analysis, for the hydrogen charging system at a hydrogen gas station, derived 6 risk factors from HAZOP and 5 risk factors from FMEA, and prepared measures for it.

Off-Site 패키지형 수소충전소의 FTA 분석 (A Study on FTA of Off-Site Packaged Hydrogen Station)

  • For the fault tree analysis (FTA) analysis of the packaged hydrogen filling station, the composition of the charging station was analyzed and the fault tree (FT) diagram was prepared. FT diagrams were created by dividing the causes of events into external factors and internal factors with the hydrogen event as the top event. The external factors include the effects of major disasters caused by natural disasters and external factors as OR gates. Internal factors are divided into tube tailer, compressor & storage tank, and dispenser, which are composed of mistakes in operation process and causes of accidents caused by parts leakage. In this study, the purpose was to improve the hydrogen station. The subjects of this study were domestic packaged hydrogen stations and FTA study was conducted based on the previous studies, failure mode & effect analysis (FMEA) and hazard & operability study (HAZOP). Top event as a hydrogen leaking event and constructed the flow of events based on the previous study. Refer to "Off shore and onshore reliability data 6th edition", "European Industry Reliability Data Bank", technique for human error rate prediction (THERP) for reliability data. We hope that this study will help to improve the safety and activation of the hydrogen station.

수소충전소의 연료 계량 방법에 따른 계량 오차가 발생하는 원인 고찰 (The Study to Find Causes for Measuring Differences of Hydrogen Fillings in Hydrogen Refueling Station)

  • There has been an measuring errors between state of charge (SOC; kg) value and mass flow meter (MFM) value in dispenser for hydrogen refueling station. Finally, we observed average 15.5% weight difference between these two values and the MFM readings show a 15.5% higher readout of the SOC readings. Each car was charged with average 2.66 kg of hydrogen fuel during this period. In the initial charging of the day shows less measuring value than the final charging with the maximum 0.038 kg times number of filling. There is no effects of atmosphere temperature change for the hydrogen filled weight during one full year such as January's cold winters and August's hot summers.

  • 수소에너지의 무궁한 가능성 때문에 관련 기술은 미래 국가 경쟁력을 좌우할 것이며, 이러한 수소에너지의 핵심으로 수소제조공정 및 수소스테이션 관련 기술은 국가연료전지 시장을 비롯한 수소연료전지자동차 산업 전반에 커다란 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되고 있다. 그러므로 세계 각국은 수소에너지를 미래에너지원으로 개발하기 위하여 대규모로 기술개발 및 실증연구를 실시하고 있으며, 주로 수소연료전지자동차 개발과 아울러 수소스테이션 개발에 대한 인프라 구축에 대해 이루어지고 있다. 국내에서도 국가주도로 수소스테이션 건설이 이루어지고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 수소연료전지자동차를 이용하여 수소인프라와의 모니터링에 대한 현황에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

수소충전소와 수소전기차간의 안전통신을 위한 WiFi 프로토콜 비교 (Comparison of WiFi Protocols for Safety Communication Between Hydrogen Refueling Station and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle)

  • 수소충전소와 수소전기차 간의 통신 프로토콜인 SAE J2601과 SAE J2799는 수소 충전에 관련된 내용만을 다루고 있다. 본 논문에서는 수소전기차의 수소검출, 전류, 전압을 측정하여, 수소충전소로 WiFi 프로토콜을 변화시켜 가면서 센서 데이터를 전송한다. 수소전기차의 센싱, 제어 및 센서 데이터 전송을 위해, 라즈베리파이를 이용하여 소규모 실험실 모델을 만들었다. 센서 데이터를 수소충전소의 데이터베이스에 저장하였고, 저장된 데이터 분석을 위해 그라파나를 이용하여 대쉬보드를 구성하였다. 수소가 검출되면 수소충전소의 디스펜서 밸브를 잠근다. 그리고 WiFi 프로토콜에 따른 평균 전송 지연을 측정하였다. 전송 지연 측정 결과, 수소충전소와 수소전기차간의 센서 데이터 전송을 위한 WiFi 프로토콜은 IEEE 802.11a가 가장 적합하였다.
