사축식 유압 피스톤 펌프의 디스크 편심률에 따른 실린더블록 구동영역에 대한 연구 (A Study on Driving Range of Cylinder Block to Eccentricity Ratio of Disk in Bent axis Type Oil Hydraulic Piston Pump)

  • To improve the performance of the bent axis type axial piston pump driven by the tapered piston, it is necessary to know the driving characteristics and mechanism of the tapered piston and the cylinder block. Since each piston not only rotates on its axis and reciprocates in the cylinder bore, but also revolves around the axis of the driving shaft, it is difficult to analyze the driving mechanism theoretically. The theoretical mechanism far the bent axis type axial piston pump is studied by using the geometrical method. The driving range of the tapered piston is determined by theoretical equations. The results show that the cylinder block is driven by one tapered piston in a limited range and the core parameters such as driving factor of the piston and the ahead delay angle influenced performance of the bent axis type axial piston pump.

고형물 이송을 위한 유압구동 선형 피스톤 펌프의 개발 (Development of the Linear Piston Pump Driven by the Hydraulic Power for the Solid Transferring)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the actual field application of the linear piston pump for the solid transferring driven by the hydraulic power unit. In this paper, the numerical analysis and performance evaluating experiments were performed. CFX program has been used to obtain the solutions for the problems of three-dimensional, turbulent water flow in the linear piston pump. The velocity and the pressure distributions are obtained using the turbulent $k-\varepsilon$ model. To evaluate the performance of the linear piston pump, the performance test stand and data acquisition system were manufactured. The numerical predictions agree favorably with experimental results within 7% error. Speed of the piston which is satisfied the flow rate 3,000l/min which considers from basic design became 0.33m/s. This paper could be applied to the design of the linear piston pump for the fish transferring.

A SE Approach to Predict the Peak Cladding Temperature using Artificial Neural Network

  • Traditionally nuclear thermal hydraulic and nuclear safety has relied on numerical simulations to predict the system response of a nuclear power plant either under normal operation or accident condition. However, this approach may sometimes be rather time consuming particularly for design and optimization problems. To expedite the decision-making process data-driven models can be used to deduce the statistical relationships between inputs and outputs rather than solving physics-based models. Compared to the traditional approach, data driven models can provide a fast and cost-effective framework to predict the behavior of highly complex and non-linear systems where otherwise great computational efforts would be required. The objective of this work is to develop an AI algorithm to predict the peak fuel cladding temperature as a metric for the successful implementation of FLEX strategies under extended station black out. To achieve this, the model requires to be conditioned using pre-existing database created using the thermal-hydraulic analysis code, MARS-KS. In the development stage, the model hyper-parameters are tuned and optimized using the talos tool.

HSPDA 모형 및 ADF index를 이용한 상수관망의 신뢰도 산정 (Estimation of the Reliability of Water Distribution Systems using HSPDA Model and ADF Index)

  • 본 연구에서는 HSPDA모형을 기반으로 한 상수관망의 신뢰도분석 방안을 제안하였다. 대표적인 상수관망의 신뢰도분석 방법으로는 수량과 수압의 확보가 불가능한 수요절점을 산정하고 필요수량/공급가능수량 혹은 압력확보절점수/전체절점수 등을 계산하여 상수관망이 얼마나 신뢰할 수 있는가를 판단하는 것이 있다. 이를 계산하기 위해서는 수리모형을 이용한 상수관망의 모의가 필요하나 절점의 압력과는 상관없이 항상 모든 용수량은 공급가능하다는 가정을 사용하는 Demand-Driven Analysis (DDA) 를 신뢰도 분석에 사용할 경우 신뢰도가 과소 산정될 수 있으며, 절점수요는 절점수두에 비례한다는 가정을 사용하는 Pressure-Driven Analysis (PDA)의 적용이 필요하다. 그러나 기존에 수행된 많은 연구에서는 관망의 특성에 따라 제한적인 적용성을 가지는 PDA 모형과 semi-PDA모형이 비정 상운영상태의 상수관망 수리모의에 이용되었고 이로 인하여 정확한 상수관망의 신뢰도 산정이 어려웠다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 PDA모형의 가지는 단점을 보완한 HSPDA 모형과 Available Demand Fraction (ADF) 지수를 이용하여 상수관망의 신뢰도 산정이 가능한 모형을 제안하였다. HSPDA를 활용하여 상수관망의 비정상운영상태를 모의하고, 이를 이용하여 절점별 ADF 지수를 산정, 상수관망의 신뢰도를 산정하였다. 제안된 신뢰도분석기법을 대상관망에 적용하여 기존의 연구결과와 비교하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 수립 가능한 신뢰도 확보방안을 제시하였다.

AMESim기반 피에조 인젝터용 해석모델의 민감도 특성 해석 (Analysis of Sensitivity Characteristics with AMESim Model for Piezo Injector)

  • Performance of DI diesel engine with high fuel injection method is directly related to the emission characteristics and fuel consumption. At present, diesel injection system with piezo element is replacing conventional solenoid type due to their faster electro-mechanical properties. In this study, it was investigated the sensitivity characteristics regarding internal hydraulic modeling based on the AMESim environment of piezo-driven injector The analytic parameter for this study defined such as In/Out orifice, injection hole's diameter and driven voltage on piezo stack. As the results, it was shown that these parameter influence on a fast response characteristics of piezo-driven injector. Also we found fuel pressure recovery time is faster about 0.1 ms due to larger IN orifice diameter. And larger OUT orifice diameter occurs maximum pressure drop with faster its timing of about 0.2 ms.

  • This paper presents a disturbance observer based on an $H_{\infty}$ controller synthesis for the trajectory control of a hydraulic excavator. Compared to conventional robot manipulators driven by electrical motors, the hydraulic excavator has more nonlinear and coupled dynamics. In particular, the interactions between an excavation tool and the materials being excavated are unstructured and complex. In addition, its operating modes depend on working conditions, which make it difficult to not only derive the exact mathematical model but also design a controller systematically. In this study, the approximated linear model obtained through off-line system identification is used as nominal plant model for a disturbance observer. A disturbance observer based tracking controller which considers the effect of disturbance and model uncertainty is synthesized in $H_{\infty}$ frameworks. Simulation results are used to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed control scheme.

  • During the past several years, the major interests of car manufacturers in development of automatic transmission were in durability and shift quality. However, a large number of researches for improving shift quality that are based on dynamic characteristics of shifting mechanism have been rarely adopted in the developing process because it is quite difficult to predict the shifting performance from the dynamics simulation. One of the important reasons for the difference between simulation results and experiments arises from the automatic transmission hydraulic system that consists of many valves with high order model and shows a lot different dynamics to temperature variation. In this work, hardware-in-the-loop simulation system for automatic transmission was developed f3r improving the accuracy of simulated result by combining the real-time simulation model with the real hydraulic system. The real-time simulation for automatic transmission model excluding hydraulic system is executed with TI's TMS320C31 DSP and the interfacing board which includes 12bit A/D, PWM signal generator and driver, serial driver ,etc is designed for acquiring the simulation data and signal interface with hydraulic system. We verified the proper operation and correctness of shifting result by comparing the off-line simulation result with that of HILS and experimental result which was performed on transmission dynamometer driven by electric motor.

PWM 제어 고속 온-오프 전자밸브에서 발생하는 압력맥동 저감 (Pressure Ripple Reduction in High Speed On-Off Solenoid Valves Driven by PWM Control)

  • This paper investigates a fast, accurate and inexpensive hydraulic motor speed control system using high speed on-off solenoid valves. In order to retain the advantages of the two position valve and obtain better performance, the valves are operated by pulse width modulation(PWM) control. PWM signal is generated from a LabWIEW program in microcomputer in order to set up various duty ratio and frequency of carrier wave in PWM signal with varying system parameters. As the results of experiments, the speed control of a hydraulic motor was successfully implemented using on-off solenoid valves. In order to attenuate the pressure ripple and speed variation due to discontinuously controlled flow through the on-off valves, a resonator hose fabricated for automobile power steering system was connected between the valve and a hydraulic motor. From experimental results obtained in the hydraulic motor system with a resonator hose, it was ascertained that the resonator hose showed excellent performances in reducing pressure ripple and motor speed variation.

  • 본 논문은 BLDC 서보모터 펌프를 사용하는 PBW(power-by-wire) 시스템을 위한 DSP(Digital Signal Processor) 제어기에 대한 연구를 제시한다. PBW 유압 엑츄에이터는 BLDC 서보모터에 의해 구동되는 유압펌프와 유압 실린더 그리고 제어기로 구현된다. 이 PBW 시스템은 유압 실린더의 선형 추진 동작을 위해 서보 모터의 속도 제어를 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 벡터 제어 방법과 MIN-MAX PWM 기술을 활용하는 서보 제어기를 구현한다. 제어기로서, PWM 파형발생기, A/D변환기, SPI(직병렬인터페이스) 포트 그리고 많은 입/출력 포트 등을 가지고 있는 이유로 TMS320F2812 DSP가 채택되었다.

TAPINS: A THERMAL-HYDRAULIC SYSTEM CODE FOR TRANSIENT ANALYSIS OF A FULLY-PASSIVE INTEGRAL PWR

  • REX-10 is a fully-passive small modular reactor in which the coolant flow is driven by natural circulation, the RCS is pressurized by a steam-gas pressurizer, and the decay heat is removed by the PRHRS. To confirm design decisions and analyze the transient responses of an integral PWR such as REX-10, a thermal-hydraulic system code named TAPINS (Thermal-hydraulic Analysis Program for INtegral reactor System) is developed in this study. Based on a one-dimensional four-equation drift-flux model, TAPINS incorporates mathematical models for the core, the helical-coil steam generator, and the steam-gas pressurizer. The system of difference equations derived from the semi-implicit finite-difference scheme is numerically solved by the Newton Block Gauss Seidel (NBGS) method. TAPINS is characterized by applicability to transients with non-equilibrium effects, better prediction of the transient behavior of a pressurizer containing non-condensable gas, and code assessment by using the experimental data from the autonomous integral effect tests in the RTF (REX-10 Test Facility). Details on the hydrodynamic models as well as a part of validation results that reveal the features of TAPINS are presented in this paper.
