다중 제어밸브 구조의 압력제어기 설계에 관한 연구 (A study on the pressure controller design of multiple control valve structure)

  • 본 연구에서는, 대형 증기유량이 요구되는 플랜트에서 정밀한 압력제어의 요구를 충족시키기 위한 다른 방법으로 3단계의 다중 제어밸브 구조를 이용하여 압력을 제어하는 제어기를 설계하는 내용이다. 본 연구의 핵심은 전기 유압시스템 외부에 별도의 PID 제어기를 이용하여 제어밸브의 위치를 정확하게 제어하는 것이다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 제어기의 성능을 검증한다.

  • In this paper, a theoretical method is presented to design a hydraulic control valve system that consist of an important component in the hydraulic snubber. The hydraulic snubber is used essentially to support the piping systems at power plants. To calculate the force due to pressure drop and flow rate in the valve orifice and by-pass hole, Bernoulli equation is used. The Reynolds equation are numerically analyzed in the clearance gap between the valve cone and valve seat to estimate the friction force and leakage flow rate. Based on the detailed theoretical data, we developed successfully the hydraulic snubber for power plants.

고속전자밸브를 이용한 유압실린더의 PWM 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on PWM Control of Hydraulic Cylinder Using High Speed Solenoid Valve)

  • The conventional PWM method, which was used in controlling the on-off valve, such as high-speed solenoid valve, was modulating the width of the pulse applied to the valve, by selecting arbitrary sampling time and modulating the duty-ratio in proportion to the error. However, in this method, a selection of long sampling time was inevitable and it was unable to get a high accuracy and a quick response. This study is for designing an appropriate controller for high-speed solenoid valve by proposing an improved duty-ratio modulation method using the Saw-toothed Carrier Wave which enables a short sampling time selection, high accuracy of control, and a quick response. Test which was carried out in the laboratory shows that transient and steady state response could be improved by PID controller.

Flow Divider Valve의 최적설계를 위한 동특성 해석 (Dynamic Characteristics Analysis for Optimal Design of Flow Divider Valve)

  • Flow divider valve는 한 개의 공급라인에서 두 개 이상의 출력라인으로 유압유를 일정비율로 분배하는 유압제어밸브로서 하중압력이나 공급압력 등에 관계없이 항상 일정비율의 유량분배가 가능해야 한다. 현재 상용제품의 유량분할 정확도는 90~95% 수준이며, 이러한 유량분할오차(Flow dividing error)는 유압시스템에 누적오차로 작용하여 많은 문제점을 야기시키고 있어 보다 고정밀 유량제어가 가능한 Flow divider valve 개발이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 외력을 고려한 스푸울의 거동을 수치적으로 정확하게 조사하여 Flow divider valve의 동특성을 규명함과 동시에 유량분할 오차를 감소시키는 최적설계방안을 제시하고자 한다. 동특성 해석은 일정한 하중저항을 입력신호로 작용하는 경우에 대해서 제시하였으며, 이때의 고정오리피스와 가변오리피스의 단면적 및 스푸울의 단면적 변화에 따른 동특성의 변화를 조사하였다.

Groove 단면형상에 따른 유압 Spool Valve의 윤활해석 (Lubrication Analysis of Hydraulic Spool Valve with Groove Cross Sectional Shapes)

  • The spools in most hydraulic spool type control valve have several circumferential grooves to pre-vent well known hydraulic locking problems which result in high friction force and excessive wear. In this paper, a commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code, FLUENT is used to investigate the flow and lubrication characteristics of grooved hydraulic spool valve. The stream lines and pressure distributions are obtained for various groove cross sectional shapes and film thicknesses. The stream lines are highly affected by groove cross sectional shape but pressure distributions mainly depend on the film shape and its magnitude. Therefore the numerical method adopted in this paper and results can be use in designing of various grooved spool valve.

  • In this work, a circuit with a hydraulic power unit is formulated as a means of predicting the behavior of the prefill valve in the future. The behavior of the prefill valve can be examined by the measurements of the configured power unit, and the performance is determined by using hydraulic pumps, relief valves, and hydraulic hoses that make up the power unit. In particular, pressure/flow pulsation generated by hydraulic pumps can cause instability in the prefill valve and cause noise-induced degradation of the overall performance and reliability of the hydraulic system containing the prefill valve. Therefore, to study the behavior and performance of the prefill valve in a relatively accurate manner, the prediction of the characteristics of the hydraulic power unit driving the prefill valve is very important. In this study, the pulsation characteristics of the hydraulic pump were analyzed to theoretically demonstrate its relationship with different settings of the power unit, such as relief valve pressure settings and the presence/absence of the hose.

  • ABS is a safety device, which adds hydraulic system to the existing brake system to prevent wheel from locking, so we can obtain maximum braking force on driving. The hydraulic system to control braking pressure consists of sol-flow type using solenoid valve, flow control valve or consists of sol-sol type using two solenoid valve. In this paper, the hydraulic system in ABS is composed of sol type using a 3port-2position solenoid valve, and vehicle system is composed of 1/4 vehicle model. And slip ratio is controlled using PWM (Pulse-Width-Modulation) control algorithm. Braking friction coefficient and tracking friction coefficient which are described by slip ratio's function have maximum value when slip ratio has its value from 0.1 to 0.3. And slip ratio is controlled constantly in this boundary value even in the variation of road's condition in some boundary.

3위치 솔레노이드 벨브를 이용한 유압 조타 장치의 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Control of Hydraulic Steering Gear by Using Three-Position Solenoid Valve)

  • Generally, the three position solenoid valve has veen used for the hydraulic steering gear on account of it’s low cost, simplicity in device, etc. But, there is some off-set because of dead-zone which exists in on-off valves. In this paper, we proposed a combined controller which was added an integral controller to an only on-off one in hydraulic steering gear control system used low speed three position solenoid valve. Experimental results show that the off-set is removed, and the number of valve switching is reduced considerable. The validity of proposed method comparing with an only on-off control was proved by the response experiments.

  • A hydraulic system is modeled as the second order differential equation with uncertain system parameters and disturbance composed of modeling errors. To Position the load of the hydraulic system to a desired point. the servo valve of the hydraulic system is controlled. As a control scheme. a global sliding mode control(GSMC) is Proposed Since the servo valve has a torque limit. the GSMC is designed to coordinate the position of the load along the minimum time trajectory within the torque limit. The Proposed control scheme can be designed with ranges of parametric uncertainties and specified torque limits. By the proposed control scheme, the closed form solution of the arriving time at the desired position can be estimated.

  • Many research studies have been carried out related to saving energy and environmental pollution in the field of construction machinery. The best solution for reducing the related environmental pollution is to reduce fuel consumption by upgrading the energy efficiency of machinery used in this field. An efficiency upgrade in the field of construction machinery would mean minimizing the pressure loss in hydraulic pipe lines or achieving optimal operating conditions while responding to a load. One way to achieve this is to make an equivalent circuit, like an electrohydrostatic actuator, or to improve the spool type valve using the 4/3 way method. This study deals with an electrohydraulic proportional flow control valve. SimulationX software is used as a simulation tool for analyzing the dynamic characteristics. The analysis results, including the performance and characteristics of design parameters, are discussed and the validity of the theoretical analysis is also evaluated.
