  • This paper proposes a base models of Hybrid railway vehicle power system. A powered system with fuel cell is regarded as a high current and low voltage source. The design parameters of the system should be chosen by taking into account the characteristics of the fuel cell, so the costs of the power system at given operating conditions can be reduced. Currently, no integrated simulation has been approached to analyze interrelated effects. Therefore, the base models of power conversion system with a PEM fuel cell/IPT system for hybrid powered system that includes the PEM fuel cell stack, DC/DC converter are developed. Concept of bidirectional converter for super capacitor charging system is presented.

  • 본 논문은 2행정 피스톤 엔진 기반 발전기 및 배터리로 구성된 드론용 전기추진시스템 설계 과정에 대해 다룬다. 연구의 목적은 하이브리드 시스템의 높은 에너지 밀도를 이용하여 비행시간을 증가 시키고 화석연료 사용량을 줄임으로써 환경 변화에 대처함에 있다. 시스템은 6 kW의 출력을 생산할 수 있고, 엔진 RPM 제어를 통해 부하 요구에 맞는 출력 조절이 가능하다. 또한 배터리를 추가 장착함으로써 출력 보완재 역할 뿐만 아니라 비상시 제한된 시간 내 주 전력으로 사용할 수 있다. 또한 발전기를 엔진 크랭크축에 직접 연결함으로써 설계 복잡성을 줄여 동체 내 공간 활용성을 증대 시켰다.

하이브리드 환경하의 인간기계시스템 제어실 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Evaluation for the Control Room in Human Machine System Under Hybrid Environment)

  • While the operator's working environment employs the digital devices and technology which are not be fully digitalized due to its technical constraints, it has been changed to the hybrid environment in which digital and analog elements are combined. The hybrid environments need to study its characteristics and the guidelines for the proper design and evaluation purpose. This paper describes the characteristics and evaluation guidelines for hybrid environment through studying the characteristics of digital and analog environment based on the related human factor guidelines and literatures. The result of this paper would be applied for the human machine system such as main control room in nuclear power plant working under hybrid environment. And also, it may be applied for the evaluation of the generic human working environment which digital and analog elements are jointly used.

Hybrid F-NFC에 의한 저속 디젤 기관의 속도 제어 (Speed Control for Low Speed Diesel Engine by Hybrid F-NFC)

  • In recent, the marine engine of a large size is being realized a lower speed, longer stroke and a small number of cylinders for the energy saving. Consequently the variation of rotational torque became larger than former days because of the longer delay-time in fuel oil injection process and an increased output per cylinder. It was necessary that algorithms have enough robustness to suppress the variation of the delay-time and the parameter perturbation. This paper shows the structure of hybrid F-NFC against the delay-time and the perturbation of engine parameter as modeling uncertainties, and the design of the robust speed controller by hybrid F-NFC for the engine. And, The Parameter values of linear equation are determined by RC-GA for F-NFS. The hybrid F-NFC is combined the F-NFC and PID controller for filling up each.

  • 수요관리와 정전에 대한 비상전원 기능을 갖춘 하이브리드 전력저장시스템으로 비상발전설비가 필요한 빌딩 및 공장건축 시에 투자비를 최소화하고, 상시 전력비를 절감함으로서 경제성을 확보할 수 있 기술을 개발함으로써 새로운 비즈니스 모델을 제시한다. 평상시에 STS(Static Transfer Switch)를 통해 부하에 계통 전력을 공급하고 PCS는 계통에 병렬로 연계되어 수요관리를 수행한다. EMS는 수요예측을 통한 전력의 효율적 운용을 위해 ESS에 충방전 지령을 PMS(Power Management System)로 하달하고 PMS는 다시 PCS 제어기로 지령을 전달하여 시스템을 운용한다. 정전시에는 STS가 계통으로부터 빠르게 이탈되면서 PCS는 독립 전원이 되어 부하 측에 정전압/정주파수의 전력을 공급할수 있는 구조이다. 따라서 하이브리드 ESS에 대한 실 계통 연계 및 독립 운전 성능 검증을 통한 신뢰성을 확보할수 있고, 저탄소 녹색성장 기술의 효율적 전력망과 연계 운영이 가능하게 함으로써 ESS 연계를 통한 신재생에너지 발전에 의한 불규칙한 전력 품질개선, 피크부하 기여도 제고가 가능하다. 또한 현재 석탄 화력이 담당하고 있는 주파수추종 예비력을 ESS로 대체함에 따라 연료비가 높은 LNG 발전기 가동비용을 절감할 수 있는 기대효과가 있다.

  • UNECE/WP29/GRPE/EVE has recently defined that the power of a hybrid electric vehicle is the system power. Although a method for measuring the maximum power of a hybrid electric vehicle is presented by KATRI, it does not consider charging and discharging characteristics of traction batteries. This study provides a maximum power measurement method which reflects the charging and discharging characteristics of traction batteries in NOVC-HEVs (Not Off Vehicle Charging-Hybrid Electric Vehicles). Both methods are compared with regard to the output measurement results.

  • This paper presents the control algorithm of single-phase hybrid active power filter for the compensation of harmonic current components in nonlinear R-L load with passive active Power filters. To construct two phase system, an imaginary second phase was made. In this proposed method, the new signal which is the delayed through the filtering by the phase-delay property of low-pass filter is used as the secondary phase. Because two-phases have the different phase, the instantaneous calculation of harmonic current is possible. In this paper, a reference voltage is created by multiplying the coefficient k by the compensation current using the rotating reference frame synchronized with the source-frequency, not applying to instantaneous reactive power theory which has been used with the existing fixed reference frames In order to verify the validities of the proposed control methods, experiments are carried out with the prototypes of single-phase hybrid active power filter.

Neutronic investigation of waste transmutation option without partitioning and transmutation in a fusion-fission hybrid system

  • A feasibility of reusing option of spent nuclear fuel in a fusion-fission hybrid system without partitioning was checked as an alternative option of pyro-processing with critical reactor system. Neutronic study was performed with MCNP 6.1 for this option, direct reuse of spent PWR fuel (DRUP). Various options with DRUP fuel were compared with the reference design concept; transmutation purpose blanket with (U-TRU)Zr fuel loading connected with pyro-processing. Performance parameters to be compared are transmutation performance of transuranic (TRU) nuclides, required fusion power and tritium breeding ratio (TBR). When blanket part is loaded only with DRUP, initial $k_{eff}$ level becomes too low to maintain a practical subcritical system, increasing the required fusion power. In this case, production rate of TRU nuclides exceeds the incineration rate. Design optimization is done for combining DRUP fuel with (U-TRU)Zr fuel. Reactivity swing is reduced to about 2447 pcm through fissile breeding compared to (U-TRU)Zr fuel option. Therefore, a required fusion power is reduced and tritium breeding performance is improved. However, transmutation performance with TRU nuclides especially $^{241}Am$ is degraded because of softening effect of spectrum. It is known that partitioning and transmutation should be accompanied with fusion-fission hybrid system for the effective transmutation of TRU.

두 개의 출력단자에 동일한 출력 전력 기울기를 갖는 90° hybrid Coupler (The 90° hybrid Coupler having the same output power slope at two output ports)

  • 90도 하이브리드 커플러에서 두 개의 출력 단자는 일반적으로 90도 위상차의 동일 전력으로 분배된다. 90도 하이브리드 커플러의 두 개의 출력 단자는 입력 단자로부터 전기적 길이가 다르기 때문에 주파수에 따라 서로 다른 출력 기울기를 갖는다. 즉, 동일 전력으로 분배하는 90도 하이브리드 커플러는 중심 주파수에서만 동일한 전력으로 분배되고, 중심 주파수에서 멀어질수록 두 출력 단자에서의 출력 전력은 차이가 크게 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 입력단자와 가까운 거리에 있는 출력단자에 사이에 존재하는 특성임피던스 $35-{\Omega}$${\lambda}/4$ 길이의 선로를 변형시켜 광대역에서 두 개의 출력 단자의 출력 특성이 동일하도록 개선시켰다. 제안된 회로는 ADS(advanced Design System)을 이용하여 살펴보면 두 개의 출력 전력의 차이가 중심주파수 대비 약 20% 대역 이상에서 0.2dB 이내의 값을 가짐을 확인하였다.

정압력원을 이용한 에너지 절감 유압 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Energy Saving Hydraulic System Using Constant Pressure System)

  • It is strongly requested to reduce fuel consumption because of high oil price and exhaust gases of road vehicles for environmental preservation. To solve these problems, several types of hybrid vehicles have been developed. Among them, flywheel hybrid vehicle using variable displacement pump/motor was already proposed as one of the feasible hybrid systems in place of hybrid vehicle by the conventional storage battery. The proposed flywheel hybrid vehicle is to keep constant pressure of high pressure line by the control of swash plate angle of flywheel pump/motor as pressure compensator. The efficiency of the overall system depends severely on the efficiency of hydraulic pump/motor in the energy saving hydraulic control system by simulation. According to the control methods of swash plate angle of piston pump/motor, there remain several problems to be solved. In this paper, experimental setup for energy saving is fabricated and the efficiency of energy saving is investigated by experiments with respect to various experimental conditions.
