2상 HB형 선형 STEPPING 전동기의 진동해석에 관한 연구 (A study on the vibration of 2-phase HB type Linear Stepping Motor)

  • In this paper, the vibration characteristics of a 2-phase Hybrid type Linear Stepping Motor(HLSM) are analyzed using the ACSL. A magnetic equivalent circuit is based on the structure of the HLSM, and then the electric equivalent circuit of the HLSM is derived by solving equations for the magnetic equivalent circuit. A normal force is calculated using FEM(Flux2D). And the vibration characteristics(Continuous vibration) of the HLSM are simulated by the ACSL with the voltage equations, the thrust equation, the normal force equation and the kinetic equation.

Design and Analysis of Hybrid Stator Bearingless SRM

  • This paper presents a novel bearingless switched reluctance motor (BLSRM) with decoupled torque and suspending stator poles. BLSRM is different from conventional bearingless switched reluctance motors (SRMs) because its suspending poles are separated from the torque poles. Perpendicularly placed suspending poles are designed to produce a continuous radial force to suspend the rotor. Due to the independent suspending and torque poles, BLSRM produces a suspending force with excellent linearity according to the rotor position and independent characteristics of the torque current. The air-gap is easier to control than in conventional SRMs with their linear and independent characteristics. Furthermore, to verify the proposed structure, a mathematical model for the suspending force is derived. Finite element analysis is also employed to compare BLSRM and conventional SRMs expressions of suspending force. A prototype motoris designed and manufactured to verify the effectiveness of the proposed bearingless structure.

Flow Interaction of Shedding Vortex with Injected Normal Blowing

  • This paper is concerned with turbulent flow computations using Large Eddy Simulation (LES) and the flow interaction of vortex shedding in a cylindrical duct flow driven by mass blowing through the wall. The purpose is to analyze non-linear combustion characteristics in the presence of vortex shedding generated in a hybrid rocket motor. Experimental studies have shown sudden changes in pressure (referred as a DC-shift), which depend on the strength of vortex strength of incoming flow. The combustion instability because of a sudden change in pressure fluctuations is mainly related with the interaction between vortex shedding. Therefore LES computation on a duct with injected normal blowing was performed to simulate the turbulent flow interactions with the behaviors of vortices and vortex structures along the injected wall.

SVPWM Overmodulation Scheme of Three-Level Inverters for Vector Controlled Induction Motor Drives

  • This paper describes a SVPWM overmodulation scheme of NPC type three-level inverter for traction drives which extends the modulation index from MI=0.907 to unity. SVPWM strategy is organized by two operation modes of under-modulation and over-modulation. The switching states under the under-modulation modes are determined by dividing them with two linear regions and one hybrid region the same as the conventional three-level inverter. On the other hand, under the over-modulation mode, they are generated by doing it with two over-modulation regions the same as the conventional over-modulation strategy of a two level inverter. Following the description of over-modulation scheme of a three-level inverter, the system description of a vector controlled induction motor for traction drives has been discussed. Finally, the validity of the proposed modulation algorithm has been verified through simulation and experimental results.

  • Linear pulse Motors(LPM) are widely used in fields where smooth linear motion is required, and their position accuracy is higher than other motors. Hybrid linear pulse motors(HLPM) are regarded as an excellent solution to positioning problems that require high accuracy, rapid acceleration and high-speed. The LPM has low mechanical complexity, high reliability, precise open-loop operation and low inertia etc. In many application areas such as factory automation speed positioning, computer peripherals and numerically controlled machine tools, LPM can be used. This motor drive system is especially suitable for machine tools the high position accuracy and repeatability. This paper describes about that need of the embroider machine, we want to design position-scanning device for the embroidery machine. At first, to be analysed characteristics of the machine and next designed the LPM, we used the field analysis program. The finite element method(FEM) program tool is employed for calculation the force. The reluctance models will be used the magnetic permeance of air gap by static-conditions. The forces between forcer and platen have been calculated using the virtual work method. And we used the simulink to know the dynamic characteristics of LPM.

하이브리드로켓 연소실의 와류발생과 연소압력 진동 (Vortex sheddings and Pressure Oscillations in Hybrid Rocket Combustion)

  • 하이브리드 로켓은 고체로켓과 매우 흡사한 내부유동 특성을 가지고 있으므로 와류흘림(vortex shedding)은 하이브리드 로켓에서도 연소안정성에 영향을 미치는 중요한 인자로 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 예연소실에서 와류를 발생시켜 연료 표면와류와의 간섭과 연소특성 변화를 관찰하였다. 기본 형상과 디스크를 장착한 실험 결과, 5개의 주파수 특성이 관찰되었으며 이들은 각각 추진제의 열적지연에 의한 주파수, 디스크, 연료 단면, 후연소실 단면 변화에 의한 와류흘림과 관련된 주파수임을 확인하였다. 특히 디스크 1과 3의 결과를 비교해 보면 디스크 위치에 따라 변화하는 와류흘림이 연소실의 특정 주파수 특성과 상호 간섭하여 공진이 발생하기도 하지만, 또 다른 경우에는 어떠한 간섭도 일어나지 않는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 선택적 공진현상은 하이브리드 로켓의 비선형 연소안정성 발생을 설명할 수 있는 중요한 메카니즘으로 판단된다.

동흡진기를 이용한 유연 구조물의 강건제어 (Robust Control of Flexible Structure Using Dynamic Vibration Absorber)

  • Hybrid mass damper systems have recently been introduced as a dynamic vibration absorber to exploit the benefits of both the conventional tuned mass damper system and the active control system. A hybrid system is programmed to function as either a conventional TMD or as an active system according to the wind conditions and the resultant building and damper mass vibration characteristics. This paper deals with the design of the robust controller for the control of the flexible box structure. The control algorithm was devised based on $H_2$(LQG) robust control logic with acceleration feedback and to improve the capability of the controller Kalman Filter was accepted for the system. To test the ability of the robust controller using the linear motor damper system, performance tests and simulations were carried out on the full-scale steel frame structure. Through the performance tests, it was confirmed that acceleration levels are reduced down.

마이크로 펀칭시스템 구현을 위한 심벌변위확대기구의 설계 (Design of Cymbal Displacement Amplification Device for Micro Punching System)

  • This paper presents the development of a micro punching system with modified cymbal mechanism. To realize the micro punching, we introduced the hybrid system with a macro moving part and micro punching part. The macro moving part consists of a ball screw, a linear guide and the micro step motor and micro punching part includes the PZT actuators and displacement amplification device with modified cymbal mechanism. The PZT actuator is capable of producing very large force, but they provide only limited displacements which are several micro meters. Thus the displacement amplification device is necessary to make those actuators more efficient and useful. For this purpose, a cymbal mechanism in series is proposed. The finite element method was used to design the cymbal mechanism and to analyze the mode shape of the one. The displacement and mode shape error between the FEM results and experiments are within 10%. A considerable design effort has been focused on optimizing the flexure hinge to increase the output displacement and punching force.

  • 하이브리드 로켓 추진장치에서 유량제어밸브는 HR 모터조립체로 유입되는 $N_2O$ 산화제의 유량을 변경하여 추력을 증가시키거나 감소시키는 역할을 수행한다. 본 논문에서는 응답속도를 약 1초 이내, 토크 $36N{\cdot}m$의 요구사항에 맞춰 유량제어밸브를 설계 및 제작하였다. 그리고 나서 0~10V의 아날로그 신호를 인가하였을 때 밸브가 열고 닫히는 상황을 구현하기 위해 액추에이터에 데이터 값을 입력하였다. 마지막으로 연소시험을 통해 유량제어밸브의 성능을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper, We have designed the new model in order to the thrust and normal force of HLSM. Also it was analyzed by Finite Element Method and Virtual Work Method. As a result this paper, it was confirmed that the thrust and normal force was improved considerably.
