Basalt Woven Fabric을 적용한 건축용 막재의 난연특성 (Flame Resistance Performance of Architectural Membranes Using Basalt Woven Fabric)

  • 막구조 건축물은 경량의 건축용 막재를 사용하므로 자유로운 곡면표현이 가능하고 시각적인 만족도가 높아 그 사용이 점차 확대되고 있다. 하지만 건축용 막재를 구성하는 직물이 화재에 취약하므로 용도에 적합하며 보다 높은 난연성능을 가지는 불연성 막재의 개발이 요구되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 단열성, 내열성, 불연성이 우수한 현무암섬유를 건축용 막재의 직포로 적용하고 PTFE 분산 수지를 함침 코팅하여 DSC/TGA 열분석, 강도특성, 방염 및 난연특성을 평가하였다. 또한, 일반적으로 사용되는 건축용 막재 중 성능이 가장 우수한 유리섬유 직포 막재와 난연특성을 비교하였으며 평가결과 현무암섬유 직포의 건축용 막재로서의 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Cotton fabrics treated with hybrid materials were developed and prepared. A halogen-free flame retardant and an aromatic amide were blended and applied to cotton fabrics. Thermal and physical properties of the treated cotton fabrics were investigated. The surface of the pure and coated cotton fabrics was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The elemental composition of the coated surface of the cotton fabric was measured using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and compared with that of pure cotton fabric. After being solved in N,N-dimethylacetamide, m-aramid and triphenylphosphine oxide (TPP) were applied to cotton fabrics through a dip-pad-coagulation process. The treated cotton fabrics with recycled m-aramid/TPP resulted in increased limited oxygen index values and thermal resistance.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the distinctive characterics HYBRID, strictly defined, an offspring that is a cross between different species, genera, or, in rare cases, families, More loosely defined, a hybrid can also be a cross between parents of different subspecies or varieties of a species. Development of Insulation Sheet Materials and Their Sound Characterization

  • The research and development in soundproof materials for preventing noise have attracted great attention due to their social impact. Noise insulation materials are especially important in the field of soundproofing. Since the insulation ability of most materials follows a mass rule, the heavy weight materials like concrete, lead and steel board are mainly used in the current noise insulation materials. To overcome some weak points in these materials, fiber reinforced composite materials with lightweight and other high performance characteristics are now being used. In this paper, innovative insulation sheet materials with carbon and/or glass fabrics and nano-silica hybrid PU resin are developed. The parameters related to sound performance, such as materials and fabric texture in base fabric, hybrid method of resin, size of silica particle and so on, are investigated. At the same time, the wave analysis code (PZFlex) is used to simulate some of experimental results. As a result, it is found that both bundle density and fabric texture in the base fabrics play an important role on the soundproof performance. Compared with the effect of base fabrics, the transmission loss in sheet materials increased more than 10 dB even though the thickness of the sample was only about 0.7 mm. The results show different values of transmission loss factor when the diameters of silica particles in coating materials changed. It is understood that the effect of the soundproof performance is different due to the change of hybrid method and the size of silica particles. Fillers occupying appropriate positions and with optimum size may achieve a better effect in soundproof performance. The effect of the particle content on the soundproof performance is confirmed, but there is a limit for the addition of the fillers. The optimization of silica content for the improvement of the sound insulation effect is important. It is observed that nano-particles will have better effect on the high soundproof performance. The sound insulation effect has been understood through a comparison between the experimental and analytical results. It is confirmed that the time-domain finite wave analysis (PZFlex) is effective for the prediction and design of soundproof performance materials. Both experimental and analytical results indicate that the developed materials have advantages in lightweight, flexibility, other mechanical properties and excellent soundproof performance.

한국형 틸팅열차용 복합재 차체의 하중적재에 따른 구조적 특성고찰 (Structural Characteristics of a Hybrid Composite Carbody of Korean Tilting Train by Weight Load)

  • This paper explains manufacturing process, analysis and experimental studies on a hybrid composite carbody of Korean tilting train. The composite carbody with length of 23m was manufactured as a sandwich structure composed of a aluminium honeycomb core and woven fabric carbon/epoxy faces. In order to evaluate deformational behavior of the composite carbody, the static load test under vertical load has been conducted. From the test, the vertical deflection an겨 cross sectional deformation of the carbody were analysed and measured. The maximum deflection along the side sill was 9.25mm in the experiment and 8.28mm in the analysis. The maximum cross sectional deformation was measured 5.42mm at carbody center in lateral direction and 4.06mm at roof center in vertical direction.

Effects of Fiber Surface-Treatment and Sizing on the Dynamic Mechanical and Interfacial Properties of Carbon/Nylon 6 Composites

  • The effects of fiber surface-treatment and sizing on the dynamic mechanical properties of unidirectional and 2-directional carbon fiber/nylon 6 composites by means of dynamic mechanical analysis have been investigated in the present study. The interlaminar shear strengths of 2-directional carbon/nylon 6 composites sized with various thermosetting and thermoplastic resins are also measured using a short-beam shear test method. The result suggests that different surface-treatment levels onto carbon fibers may influence the storage modulus and tan ${\delta}$ behavior of carbon/nylon 6 composites, reflecting somewhat change of the stiffness and the interfacial adhesion of the composites. Dynamic mechanical analysis and short-beam shear test results indicate that appropriate use of a sizing material upon carbon fiber composite processing may contribute to enhancing the interfacial and/or interlaminar properties of woven carbon fabric/nylon 6 composites, depending on their resin characteristics and processing temperature.

하이브리드 복합재 철도차량 차체 적용 적층판의 저속충격특성 연구 (A Study on the Low Velocity Impact Response of Woven Fabric Composites for the Hybrid Composite Train Bodyshell)

  • 본 논문에서는 하이브리드 복합재 철도차량차체에 적용되는 복합적층판에 대한 저속충격시험을 수행하였다. 이를 위해 2.4J, 2.7J 및 4.2J의 세 가지 충격에너지 조건에서 세 가지의 다른 적층구조를 갖는 적층판에 대한 저속충격시험을 수행하였다. 시험에 적용된 직조된 카본/에폭시 적층판의 크기는 $100mm\times100mm$ 이다. 충격시험 후 충격하중이력, 흡수된 에너지 및 손상면적 등이 각 충격에너지와 적층순서에 따라 고찰되었다. 손상면적은 육안검사와 C-scan을 이용하여 동시에 검사하였다. 시험결과 흡수된 에너지는 $[fill]_8$, 적층판이 가장 높았고 $[fill_2,/warp_2)_s$ 적층판이 가장 낮았다. 또한 손상면적은 $[fill]_8$, 적층판에서 가장 넓은데 이것은 상대적으로 흡수에너지가 높기 때문이다.

  • Epoxy composite reinforced with 3-D braided Glass/Aramid hybrid fabric was fabricated. FBG sensor was embedded along the braid yam in order to monitor the changes of the complicated inner region of the 3-D braid structure. The good linearity between Bragg wavelength and temperature was verified by several preliminary experiments. The strain inside 3-D braided beam was estimated using FBG sensor system, and the result was compared with the calculated value. It was found that FBG sensor system is very useful technique to investigate inside region of complicated structure.

  • 원심력집진기는 장치가 간단하지만 집진효율이 낮아 주로 여과포집진장치 및 전기집진장치의 전단에만 사용되는 단점을 가지고 있다. 여과포집진장치는 고효율의 집진성능을 가지고 있지만 유입되는 먼지의 농도를 감소시키기 위하여 전단에 원심력집진기를 설치하게 되므로 설치공간 및 동력비가 과다하게 소요되고 있으며, 높은 압력손실, 낮은 여과속도에 의한 장치면적 증가, 균일한 집진이 어려워 일부 여과포에 집중적인 부하가 걸리게 되는 단점 등을 가지고 있다. 전기집진장치의 경우 압력손실이 적고 대용량에 적용 가능하지만, 여과집진장치에 비해 집진효율이 낮고, 먼지의 종류 및 연료연소조건에 따라 집진효율이 크게 영향을 받는 단점을 가지고 있다.
