융합 방송을 위한 T2-MI 역 다중화기 구현 (Implementation of the T2-MI Demultiplexer for Hybrid Broadcasting)

  • 최근 유 무선 통신 기술의 발전으로 방송망을 통한 서비스의 제한이 없어짐에 따라 소비자가 원하는 망을 통하여 방송프로그램이 전달되는 서비스가 요구되고 있다. 방송과 통신 기반의 서비스 수신이 가능한 환경에서 방송망으로 전송된 고품질 멀티미디어 콘텐츠와 통신망으로 얻어진 부가 콘텐츠를 결합하여 최적화된 콘텐츠를 수신하는 기술인 네트워크 독립형 융합방송 시스템은 연구개발 초기 단계로 융합방송 수신 및 모니터링 시스템 개발이 진행되고 있다. 이에 따라 융합방송 기능을 수행하는 다중화 방식 및 역 다중화 방식도 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 디지털 지상파 TV표준인 DVB-T2 시스템 규격의 변조기 인터페이스인 T2-MI를 기반으로 융합방송 기능을 수행하기 위한 역 다중화 알고리즘을 설계하고 이를 토대로 역 다중화 시스템을 구현하였다.

고속 스위칭 동작의 주파수 합성기를 위한 하이브리드형 구조 설계와 DLT 대체 회로 연구 (Hybrid Type Structure Design and DLT-Replacement Circuit of the High-Speed Frequency Synthesizer)

  • 기존의 PLL(phase locked loop)은 폐루프 구조이므로 주파수 스위칭 속도가 낮은 단점을 갖는다. 이를 개선하기 위해서 개루프 구조를 혼합한 Digital Hybrid PLL 구조를 연구하였다. 또한 이 구조는 빠른 주파수 스위칭 속도로 동작할 수 있지만, VCO의 전압대 주파수 전달특성을 ROM 형태로 구현하는 DLT(digital look-up table)이 사용되어야 하므로 회로소자가 많아지고 소비전력이 증가된다. 그러므로, 본 논문에서는 복잡한 DLT의 구조를 간단한 Digital logic 회로로 대체시킨 새로운 구조를 제안하였다. 또한 주파수 합성때마다 타이밍 동기화를 이루는 회로를 설계하여 합성기의 항상성을 확보하였으며 DLT를 사용하는 방식과 비교하여 회로소자를 약 $28\%$정도 줄일 수 있다. 고속 스위칭 동작 특성과 주파수 합성을 시뮬레이션과 실제 회로 구현으로 확인하였다.

A Hybrid Encryption Technique for Digital Holography using DCT and DWT

  • In this paper, we present a hybrid encryption for a digital hologram which is the most valuable image content. The encryption algorithm is based on a hybrid technique implementation a four-dimensional transform combining the discrete wavelet transform(DWT) and the discrete cosine transform (DCT). The encryption scheme is composed on the basis of the energy distribution. The experimental results showed that encrypting only 0.0244% of the entire data was enough to hide the constants of the hologram. The encryption algorithm expected to be used effectively on the researches on encryption and others for digital holographic display.

  • Lim et al. proposed a Hybrid Group Key Management scheme for Hierarchical Self-Organizing Sensor Network in 2008 to provide a secure way to pass down the group key for cluster-based communication. This paper presents two practical attacks on the scheme proposed by Lim et al. by tampering sensor nodes of a cluster to recover necessary secret keys and by exploiting the IDS employed by the scheme. The first attack enables a long-term but slow data fabrication while other attack causes more severe DoS on the access to cluster sensor nodes.

  • In the coming 21st centuries, words of development of information communication technology among the key words being emerged as an important concern have been talked about frequently and ubiquitous environment that helps human living being networked with humans, objects and environments has been rapidly progressed, influencing significantly over the various fields as well as architectural area. And eventually in this architectural area, the space that is desired to be shown to and experienced by the people could be found in the creation of a space in a new form that has not been existed in this world by utilizing the information communication technology. The future housing delicately add using technology and AR system which is an essential element. The purpose of this study is to production and using each element and develop one-step advanced the hybrid system space. We have to select the best way of the construction future housing.

Hybrid DCT/DFflWavelet Architecture Based on Jacket Matrix

  • We address a new representation of DCT/DFT/Wavelet matrices via one hybrid architecture. Based on an element inverse matrix factorization algorithm, we show that the OCT, OFT and Wavelet which based on Haar matrix have the similarrecursive computational pattern, all of them can be decomposed to one orthogonal character matrix and a special sparse matrix. The special sparse matrix belongs to Jacket matrix, whose inverse can be from element-wise inverse or block-wise inverse. Based on this trait, we can develop a hybrid architecture.

Optimizing the Net Gain of a Raman-EDFA Hybrid Optical Amplifier using a Genetic Algorithm

  • For the first time, a novel analytical model of the net gain for a Raman-EDFA hybrid optical amplifier (HOA) is proposed and its various parameters optimized using a genetic algorithm. Our method has been shown to be robust in the simultaneous analysis of multiple parameters (Raman length, EDFA length, and pump powers) to obtain large gain. The optimized HOA is further investigated at the system level for the scenario of a 50-channel DWDM system with 0.2-nm channel spacing. With an optimized HOA, a flat gain of >17 dB is obtained over the effective ITU-T wavelength grid with a variation of less than 1.5 dB, without using any gain-flattening technique. The obtained noise figure is also the lowest value ever reported for a Raman-EDFA HOA at reduced channel spacing.

하이브리드 광 추적방식의 태양광 발전 시스템 (Solar Power Generation System with Hybrid Sun Tracker)

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of hybrid sun tracking solar power generation system designed by combining astronomical data with optical tracking mechanism. The advantages of proposed power generation system are small amounts of calculation for tracking operations and enhancement of 40% of power generation at best. This system is able to track toward optimal position for maximum sun-lights under scattered lights due to clouds. The performance of implemented power generation system is confirmed by field experiments.

  • In this paper, we propose a GNSS-UWB hybrid positioning system for indoor and outdoor seamless positioning. Fusion of GNSS and inertial sensors has been widely used as a method for estimating positions in places where GNSS reception sensitivity is low, and UWB technology, which started as a short-range wireless communication technology, is widely used indoors where GNSS is completely blocked. This paper proposes a method of mutual correction and fusion of the location information collected through GNSS and the location information collected from the UWB indoor positioning system when indoor and outdoor work occurs continuously and repeatedly, such as in an industrial site.

Energy-efficient mmWave cell-free massive MIMO downlink transmission with low-resolution DACs and phase shifters

  • The mmWave cell-free massive MIMO (CFmMIMO), combining the advantages of wide bandwidth in the mmWave frequency band and the high- and uniform-spectral efficiency of CFmMIMO, has recently emerged as one of the enabling technologies for 6G. In this paper, we propose a novel framework for energy-efficient mmWave CFmMIMO systems that uses low-resolution digital-analog converters (DACs) and phase shifters (PSs) to introduce lowcomplexity hybrid precoding. Additionally, we propose a heuristic pilot allocation scheme that makes the best effort to slash some interference from copilot users. The simulation results show that the proposed hybrid precoding and pilot allocation scheme outperforms the existing schemes. Furthermore, we reveal the relationship between the energy and spectral efficiencies for the proposed mmWave CFmMIMO system by modeling the whole network power consumption and observe that the introduction of low-resolution DACs and PSs is effective in increasing the energy efficiency by compromising the spectral efficiency and the network power consumption.
