In addition, the paper discussed the need for maturity model analysis in relation to the development security operating characteristics, and analyzed the meaning of the analysis elements through detailed procedures for the strength and integration elements of the dynamic and static elements accordingly. The paper also analyzed factors such as scanning activity and code analysis for threat modeling and compliance and control.
The various function of the cardiovascular system(CVS) and the dynamic characteristics on each part of human body can be acquired in the electric analog circuit model. According to the performed outcome by other researchers, viscos resistance, flow inertia, and vascular compliance in the CVS are analogous to resister, inductor, and capacitor in electric circuit, so the CVS models were represented by the electric circuit models. these approaches were to propose the suitable models interest part of body and to simulate the various characteristics on the CVS. In this paper, the electric circuit model considering the characteristics of morphologic structure is represented, the parameter values of model is sotted up, and the dynamic characteristics of the the CVS is simulated using VisSim, one of the simulation tools. The observed simulation results are similar to the cardiovascular functions of nomal adults who have no heart failure. Besides, the simulation is operated to observe the pathophysiological abnomal symptoms(for example, bleeding within a certain period). The controller by baroreceptor, which is one of controllers to control the CVS, is appended in the model. and the dynamic response characteristics and the procedure to return normal state is observed in simulation when the bleeding last within a certain period.

This paper describes an implementation method and the results of numerical mobile phone models representing real phone models that have been released on the Korean market since 2002. The aim is to estimate the electromagnetic absorption in the human brain for case-control studies to investigate health risks related to mobile phone use. Specific absorption rate (SAR) compliance test reports about commercial phone models were collected and classified in terms of elements such as the external body shape, the antenna, and the frequency band. The design criteria of a numerical phone model representing each type of phone group are as follows. The outer dimensions of the phone body are equal to the average dimensions of all commercial models with the same shape. The distance and direction of the maximum SAR from the earpiece and the area above -3 dB of the maximum SAR are fitted to achieve the average obtained by measuring the SAR distributions of the corresponding commercial models in a flat phantom. Spatial peak 1-g SAR values in the cheek and tilt positions against the specific anthropomorphic mannequin phantom agree with average data on all of the same type of commercial models. Second criterion was applied to only a few types of models because not many commercial models were available. The results show that, with the exception of one model, the implemented numerical phone models meet criteria within 30%.

This paper presents development of an special metal hydride(SMH) actuator system using a peltier module. The newly developed simple SMH actuator, consisting of the plated hydrogen-absorbing alloy as a power source, Peltier elements as a heat source and a cylinder with metal bellows as a functioning part, has been developed. The SMH actuator is characterized by its small size, low weight, noiseless operation and a compliance similar to that of human body. A new SMH actuator that uses reversible reactions between the heat energy and mechanical energy of a hydrogen absorbing alloy. It is well known that hydrogen-absorbing alloys can reversibly absorb and desorb a large amount of hydrogen, more than about 1000 times of their own volume. To improve the thermal conductivity of the hydrogen-absorbing alloy, an electro-less copper plating has been carried out. For this purpose, the effects of the electro-less copper plating and the dynamic characteristics of the SMH actuator have been studied. The hydrogen equilibrium pressure increases and hydrogen is desorbed by heating the hydrogen-absorbing alloys, whereas by cooling the alloys, the hydrogen equilibrium pressure decreases and hydrogen is absorbed. The SMH actuator has the characteristic of being light and easy to use. Therefore, it is suitable for medical and rehabilitation applications.
According to the COVID-19, development of various medical software based on IoT(Internet of Things) was accelerated. Especially, interest in a central software system that can remotely monitor and control ventilators is increasing to solve problems related to the continuous increase in severe COVID-19 patients. Since medical device software is closely related to human life, this study aims to develop central monitoring system that can remotely monitor and control multiple ventilators in compliance with medical device software development standards and to verify performance of system. In addition, to ensure the safety and reliability of this central monitoring system, this study also specifies risk management requirements that can identify hazardous situations and evaluate potential hazards and confirms the implementation of cybersecurity to protect against potential cyber threats, which can have serious consequences for patient safety. As a result, we obtained medical device software manufacturing certificates from MFDS(Ministry of Food and Drug Safety) through technical documents about performance verification, risk management and cybersecurity application. The purpose of this study is to conduct a usability assessment to ensure that ergonomic design has been applied so that the ventilator central monitoring system can improve user satisfaction, efficiency, and safety. The rapid spread of COVID-19, which began in 2019, caused significant damage global medical system. In this situation, the need for a system to monitor multiple patients with ventilators was highlighted as a solution for various problems. Since medical device software is closely related to human life, ensuring their safety and satisfaction is important before their actual deployment in the field. In this study, a total of 21 participants consisting of respiratory staffs conducted usability test according to the use scenarios in the simulated use environment. Nine use scenarios were conducted to derive an average task success rate and opinions on user interface were collected through five-point Likert scale satisfaction evaluation and questionnaire. Participants conducted a total of nine use scenario tasks with an average success rate of 93% and five-point Likert scale satisfaction survey showed a high satisfaction result of 4.7 points on average. Users evaluated that the device would be useful for effectively managing multiple patients with ventilators. However, improvements are required for interfaces associated with task that do not exceed the threshold for task success rate. In addition, even medical devices with sufficient safety and efficiency cannot guarantee absolute safety, so it is suggested to continuously evaluate user feedback even after introducing them to the actual site.

According to the statistics provided by Korean Maritime Safety Tribunal for the year 2018, the majority of marine accidents in the past four years have occurred in fishing boats and small-sized boats. Negligent behavior resulting from not looking outside and non-compliance with navigation laws are the primary reasons behind ship collisions. Although safety education and training are reinforced to prevent such accidents, they still occur frequently. Hence, technical methods are continuously being developed to reduce ship collisions caused by human cause. The objective of this study is to reduce ship collisions by employing the WAVE communication system, which has short transmitting and receiving periods that can be incorporated for high-speed small-sized vessels. In this study, the suitability of the communication range was examined, and the appropriate range and timing for avoidance motion were accordingly selected, and a control algorithm based on the same was thereby designed. Consequently normal operation of the collision avoidance system was verified by connecting and simulating the proposed WAVE communication router-controller-steering equipment.
This paper presents the temperature-pressure characteristics of a new SMH actuator using a Peltier module. The SMH actuator is characterized by its small size, low weight, noiseless operation, and compliance similar to that of the human body. The simple SMH actuator, consisting of the plated hydrogen-absorbing alloys as a power source, Peltier elements as a heat source, and a cylinder with metal bellows as a functioning part has been developed. To improve the thermal conductivity of the hydrogen-absorbing alloy, an assembly of copper pipes has been used. It is well known that hydrogen-absorbing alloys can reversibly absorb and desorb a large amount of hydrogen, more than about 1000 times of their own volume. The hydrogen equilibrium pressure increases when hydrogen is desorbed by heating of the hydrogen-absorbing alloys, whereas by cooling the alloys, the hydrogen equilibrium pressure decreases and hydrogen is absorbed. The new special metal hydride (SMH) actuator uses the reversible reaction between the heat energy and mechanical energy of a hydrogen absorbing alloys. The desirable characteristics of SMH actuator, which makes it suitable for the uses in medical and rehabilitation applications, have been also studied. For this purpose, the characteristics of the new SMH actuator for different temperature, pressure, and external load were explored.
The year of 2009~2010 brought a number of concepts and new ideas were evaluated with promising results. However, some studies that challenged many beliefs. In acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), recent clinical studies took into consideration of pathophysiologic changes of respiratory system compliance. Meta-analysis of positive end-expiratory pressure trials showed survival benefit of high positive end-expiratory pressure in ARDS. Until now, prone positioning did not show survival benefit in patients with ARDS. Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) based management improved survival in patients with severe ARDS. ECMO can be a management option in severe ARDS. Sedation is a standard practice in critically ill patients needing mechanical ventilation. However, Danish group reported less sedation of critically ill patients receiving mechanical ventilation was associated with an increase in days without ventilation. Although this single center study has some limitations, the overall results are promising. Use of maximal sterile barrier precautions (mask, sterile gown, sterile gloves, and large sterile drapes) with chlorhexidine-impregnated dressing reduced central venous catheter related infection. Selective oropharyngeal decontamination (application of topical antibiotics in the oropharynx) reduced the mortality rate of an intensive care unit (ICU) population. Normoglycemia in Intensive Care Evaluation and Survival Using Glucose Algorithm Regulation (NICE-SUGAR) trial reported intensive glucose control increased mortality among adults in the ICU. Some of the results of above papers are promising. However, some ideas may need for more frequent individual assessment and increase the workload of ICU staffs. Before implementation of new practice in ICU, we should take into consideration of individual hospital situation including human and material resources.

As "Made in Korea" has high branding power in the fashion industry, domestic clothing manufacturers also need to consider branding the country of origin. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to reconsider the need for a domestic certification system and suggest a direction by analyzing apparel origin certification systems operating overseas. The results of this study could be used for planning certification standards and operating methods suitable for regional characteristics and industrial environments when establishing a certification system for clothing produced in Korea. The case study subjects were Japan's J∞ Quality, USA's Made in New York, Italy's 100% Made in Italy, and France's Origin France Guarantee has been classified as certification criteria related to the country of origin include items related to the production process rate in the region and the production area for each production process/stream. Manufacturing technology and design are used for quality standards, safety, hygiene compliance, production facilities, and quality control and are applied to working environment standards. The certification system selects and operates standards according to each country's industrial environment, certification subject, and purpose. Therefore, when designing a domestic apparel certification system, a feasible promotion plan should be established that considers the current state of the domestic industry, which will serve as a driving force for the growth of the apparel manufacturing industry and an opportunity to increase the trust of global fashion consumers.
