As a professional occupation, landscape education focuses on fostering professional human resources and is one of the major axes of the landscape industry. In this study, a survey of landscape students on their learning and pedagogics was conducted with the aim to present basic information for the improvement of teaching on landscape construction. A total of 348 people answered 14 questions in the category of the impression of landscape construction classes included in the questionnaire. The results showed that the students found landscape construction classes academically important and recognized the necessity for completing these classes, but they were not satisfied with the learning environments and pedagogics used in these classes. They found what they learned not readily applicable to actual practice and saw these classes as part of their preparations for the landscape engineer qualification test. Their demands in relation to the classes included field practice-oriented teaching and participation in various programs for field practice, which highlights the necessity for human resource management-oriented classes that cover planning, design, construction, and management. Challenges in relation to field practice included the provision of environment, for example offering a variety of opportunities and improving treatment in practice. This study has significance in that it analyzed the views of students and discussed directions for future improvement since there is a lack of studies and discussions about education in the field of landscape construction. This study also has a limitation that only four-year universities were included in the study. Comprehensive studies including investigating junior college and graduate school curricula and case studies of landscape construction curricula overseas are needed in the future.

This study aims to understand human resource management in the Library of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) during the COVID-19 pandemic. This institution had to change its work procedures, including its management of human resources. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, carried out from October to December 2020. The findings show that working from home practices had the following impacts: reduced ability to concentrate while working; many forced changes to the work programme; and problems of miscommunication due to work instructions being conveyed through a WhatsApp group. In response to the situation, the planning function of management was used to suspend the recruitment of interns; the organizing function was divided up tasks into two or three working days a week; the actuating function was seen in the willingness of leadership to motivate staff and to optimize resources by providing training; and the controlling function was realized in an online presence and online reporting mechanisms. It was concluded that the implementation of human resource management in the library was achieved through flexibility and staff empowerment. This involved carrying out initiatives and controlling their effectiveness in response to whatever changes were required by the latest pronouncements from government. Obstacles were still encountered in the implementation of these changes, especially in relation to the organizing function of management, where some conflict was seen between the DPR RI librarians.

To improve the ecological function of urban areas, the guideline for applying the Biotope Area Ratio to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) was developed in 2005 and modified in the July, 2017. This study investigates whether the guideline has been actually practiced in the real world by searching reports including 648 cases of the Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment (SEIA) and 471 cases of the EIA. The results show that the 38% of SEIA and the 43% of EIA include sections about Biotope Area Ratio, and the 15% of SEIA and the 25 % of EIA are satisfied the threshold of the Biotope Area Ratio suggested by the guideline. The statistical analysis results show that this low level of practice was not improved through the modification of the guideline in 2017. This is because the guideline is forcibleness, its explanation is unclear, and stockholders' understanding of it lacks. In addition, lack of tracking management on SEIA and EIA also contributes to the low level of practice of the guideline. To promote the practice, the efforts to legislate and publicize the guideline are required.
Pay-for-performance plans are some of widely used human resource practices in many firms, including shipbuilding, for productivity and motivational improvement purposes. Such plans play an important role in industries that are highly labor-intensive, and where effective management of human resources is critical to business operations, such as the shipbuilding industry. Those practices can have large impact on employee performance and ultimately company competitiveness. Research studies that show how such incentive plans improve productivity and reported pattern of adoption by firms have spurred the use and adoption in many firms. However, there are also researchers who point out that there are negative consequences to using incentive plans. Therefore it is important for companies to carefully consider the practices they use. In this paper, I discuss research findings that support the practices and critical viewpoints related to pay-for-performance plans. Research findings from Korean literature are, then, discussed. The shipbuilding industry is chosen because proper human resource management is critical in reducing turnover and increasing employee satisfaction. Through a shipbuilding company case, problems related to using pay-for-performance incentive plans and how they affect work-related issues of employee morale, cooperation, and teamwork will be discussed. While positive aspects have been emphasized to drive greater adoption among firms, the resulting consequences of the pay plans need to be seriously considered and improvements upon the plans made by firms. Improvement suggestions are discussed in the conclusions and implications.
Despite its legal, systematic and quantitative growth, Korean private security has not been showing satisfactory level of qualitative growth comparing to quantitative growth as it socially shocked with recent occurrence of the events and accidents. People on demand of security are making use of private security service to offset insufficient supply of security power as, especially, the incendiarism at Sungryemun last February brought out security issues for nationally important facilities and cultural assets, and other cases showed that the police would not cope with the appropriate security services under the current security system for protecting the life and property of people. For the supplementation of security power, the private security service is prevalent, but lots of service providers would not overcome its small business scale, except some large-sized security providers. There are some problem occurred as some providers employed staff who would not have the stuff for performing security service and they even committed illegal actions. Some opinions pointed out that it should come up with measures as they socially lose their credit. Therefore, this research suggests the recognition of the importance and the improvement measures of human resources management as follows. Security Service needs: 1. control of criteria for the employment/recruitment of human resources; 2. inducement of qualitative improvement of security service by ensuring excellent quality of human resources; 3. elevation of morale of organizational members with the operation of efficient promotion system; 4. introduction of professional certification system for the inflow of excellent quality of human resources.

The objectives of this study were finding out some methods about development of oversea agriculture in Korea. It is a tough task that faces us now. China is a big agricultural country, most agricultural investment country and the nearest located in Korea. So this study researches on the quality of farmers and characters of rural human resources in China. In China, agriculture industry is the basic industry among national economy developments. The majority of populations in China are living in rural region. Agriculture, villages and farmers are main issues in China. From this point, An analysis of Chinese farmers' characters and qualities; general conditions of farmers' knowledge of science and technology, their education level, quality of minds and sprit, and rural public health service situation in China. The result of this study is following; First, Chinese farmers' factors that low education level, big cultural differences between cities and country sides affect the development of China's agriculture as obstruction factors. Second, Practice conditions of farmers' science knowledge and technology are low level, output of higher rural human resources, low quality of minds and sprit and problems of agricultural extension service. It is negative influenced of agriculture and farmers economic development in China. Third, unsociable culture of the peasantry influences Chinese farming in the negative ways. Also, conventional notions of family are getting weaker, it makes connection of the kinship weaken. But, Chinese think that this kind of kinship is the most important thing in their life. Fourth, in the case of situations that the farmer's sanitation and health, low level of the medical service is getting worse than before relatively. And there are a lot of discordances between a planned childbirth policy and personal recognitions. Also, lacking of nourishment makes labor productivity falling tendencies. The medical industry falls short of the standard as compared to the number of farming people. Fifth, in the peasantry's consciousness of the legal system, this causes difficulties to farmers in the market. Shortage of the legal knowledge exerts a bad influence upon rural economy.

Second, Elementary and secondary school level analysis, design of the class containing the entire region up to capacity detail is required. High school was required study of school full of normal. Third, In general, for STEAM class environment and teaching model was developed by applying operations. Research and methods of teaching a wider variety of form was required. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the level of role expectation and role performance in school health teachers recognized by nursing students experiencing health teacher practice and to compare role expectation and performance according to their characteristics. Method: The subjects in this study were 530 nursing students from 42 universities in Korea. The data was collected by a structured self-administered questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA by SPSS 17.0 program. Results: The student recognition in role expectation for school health teachers showed a high level and its level in the role performance was moderate. The students recognized the role expectation was greater than the role performance in school health teachers. The students' points of view for role expectation and performance were statistically different according to their practicing locations, practicing school sizes, and their expressions of health teacher's images. Conclusion: To improve health teacher training and to provide a high quality education, practice manuals, educational support, cooperation between the university and practice school, and support of human resources as school health teachers are necessary.
Hospice can not only help the dying persons to maintain the high quality of life and facing the death in comfortable and peaceful state, but also the bereaved family to relieve the grief and sufferings. We investigated the work of hospice performed by church base from March 2000 until recently and reported the results dividing them into three parts. 1)The application of resources in church to administration, education, nursing delivery of hospice in the aspects of management. 2)Spiritual and postmortal management relating hospice nursing and funeral in hospice practice. 3)Case report of hospice and the patients situation(5 in average a month). The expected effects of hospice practice using the resources in church are as follows. 1)Hospice practice can provide the highly qualified persons with the opportunities to do voluntary services and find their lives worth living. Consequently hospice contributes to the spreading of the volunteering culture. 2)The volunteers in hospice can grow mature spiritually and get interpersonal relationships among the volunteers. Doyle. The article reports the results of an investigation on the practice of providing digital scholarship services at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This study is part of an ongoing research project entitled Developing a digital scholarship service framework for universities at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. It employed a qualitative research approach through in-depth interviews with 31 individuals who are university managers, library managers, lecturers, and postgraduate and undergraduate students from six member universities and Central Library of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. Research results show that some digital scholarship services have been provided at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. However, they have not been yet systematically implemented and have not met users' needs. Lack of needed resources such as space, technology infrastructure, human resources, finance, and stakeholder support are among major challenges in developing digital scholarship services. The management of existing digital scholarship services is fragmented without a clear policy for developing digital scholarship and supporting services. The study contributes to the existing knowledge by adding substantially to current understanding of the practice of providing digital scholarship services in Vietnam's universities in the transition period, from state control to autonomy, which has not been much addressed in previous research. Furthermore, this study can be a useful reference for higher education institutions in developing countries regarding implementation of digital scholarship services.
